BANGTAN BOMB!
Attending the MAMA's was a refreshing turn of events for the BTS members. Being on tour practically all year, they were quite excited for the asian award show.
Just finishing their last concert in Europe, slowly coming back to their timezone had Minhee ecstatic.
Oh, how she could smell her mother's home-made bulgogi all the way from Paris-
After the awards tonight, they would officially began their asian leg of the tour. All the fans in attendance were even more excited given that fact.
Minhee was proud of themselves for earning a whopping eleven nominations tonight.
The MAMA awards were a huge deal to any group. Even being invited was an honour.
They were so grateful for ARMY and even if they didn't win tonight, they were just happy to be here and perform.
"Aish... I'm nervous-" Minhee looked at herself in the mirror holding her stomach
The girl was already dressed in her lilac gown for the red carpet. Hair and make-up doing their final touches.
She hasn't seen any of the members yet except J-Hope.
"What's wrong Minhee-ssi?" Ami, one of the hairstylist looked over in concern
"I'm just afraid I might trip-" She let out a chuckle lifting the long dress
Okay she wasn't wearing her shoes yet, but still-
The last thing she wanted to do was fall flat on her face for everyone to see.
Which in her case, was a 80% chance of happening.
"Woosh, Minhhee-ah-" A voice caught her attention near the door way.
Turning, she was captivated by the bright red headed boy.
"You look, beautiful-" Taehyung eyed her head to toe scanning her outfit.
"Yahhhhh Minhee-ah!!!" Jin noticed her from a far
"You're so sparkly and shiny we might need to hide you!" He joked as she walked out into the hallway where they were supposed to group up and meet
"Aish!! Y-You guys!! Cut it out!!" The girl blushed as she shoved Jimin's shoulder who whistled a cat call at her
"What do you think Jungkook-ah?" Jin was in a fit of giggles slinging an arm around the makane
"Jungkook-ah?"
His silence made the eldest do a double take.
Jungkook's eyes were completely fixated on Minhee.
Like-
Full on stare mode.
As Jin shook the boys shoulders comically, he finally snapped out of his trance. And when he did, the boys ebony eyes locked with Jin's who had the brightest smile on his face.
Instantly, Jungkook faced the other way with his ears starting to burn trying to awkwardly pretend like that whole moment in time did not just happen.
'Ahh Jungkook-ah-' Jin watched the embarrassed boy
Watching their baby maknae's for years, especially on Jungkook's side... Jin picked up the subtle hints.
"Don't worry Minhee-ah, even if we don't win it's no big deal-" Suga smiled at her
"N-No no it's not about that, i'm just afraid I'll trip over this dress-" She lifted up the edges on the long gown showing her lilac heels underneath
"Maybe they could shorten it for you?" J-Hope suggested
"There's not much time-" Taehyung glanced over to the clock
"YAHH!! Jungkookie will help you walk!!" Jimin shouted causing both the maknaes eyes to widen
'That son of a-'
Jin, voluntarily pushed the boy forward making him stumble over his shoes.
"Go on Jungkookie-ah-" He jokingly slapped his butt causing Jungkook to chuckle in disbelief holding the bridge of his noise
'Unbelievable-'
"Minhee-ah?" He walked over offering his arm with a smile
'Minhee and Jungkookie, Minhee and Jungkookie~' Jimin sung in his head watching the two
They literally look like a prince and princess together.
After taking photo's and walking down the red carpet, bts headed into the venue where the awards were to be held.
They were sat in front of GOT7 and behind Stray Kids.
With Minhee directly behind the Stray Kids leader himself... she tried to keep herself calm... although it barely worked.
They were, I guess you can say... were kinda seeing each other at this point.
The subtle flirtatious texting, wanting to visit each other-
Although they weren't official...
The feelings between them were definitely there.
Minhee and Bangchan-
It had a nice ring to it.
Each and every time they sat down, they didn't stay for very long-
"And the award goes to-"
"Song of the year-"
"Album of the year-
"Worldwide fans choice-"
"Icon of the year-"
And let's not forget the most important one to them.
Artist of the year.
The panic in Minhee's eyes when she had to go down those steps of stairs for the first time of the night. After their group hug, Minhee was trying to engage in Jungkook... but before she could, a hand and an Australian accent caught her attention first.
Fun fact about Minhee and Bangchan, they communicate in English so everyone else around them doesn't exactly know what they are talking about.
Smiling, she accepted the gesture with bright blushing cheeks grabbing the boys hand as he guided her down the steps.
His grip on hers was solid entrusting that she could rely on him.
He was so sweet.
This was the beginning of the Bangchan and Minhee conspiracies to the public,
After finishing their performance of Idol, the group didn't have time to change due to the last award being given out after the commercial break. Which Minhee was excited about because she didn't have to worry about tripping and falling on her face.
Yay~
Their adrenaline was still pumping as they watched the nominees being presented in the big screen.
Black Pink, Twice, Wanna one, Mammamoo...
and lastly BTS.
They had won Artist of the Year twice in a row, (First time in 2016) but this year was different. If they won this award... it would mean absolutely everything to them.
"And the Artist of the Year award goes to..." The presenter smiled before opening the envelope listening to the crowds screams
They all held hands looking down in anticipation.
"Bangtan Sonyeondan!!"
The camera panned over to the music group as they sat with bright surprised smiles.
Winning artist of the year... for three years in a row...
Oh my.
Standing up, they hugged before heading up to the stage for the last time.
IDOL played as they walked up to the stage, each member having a different reaction going to the mic.
Taehyung winked at the camera as Jin praised the audience causing Jungkook and Namjoon to laugh. Jimin and Minhee were more on the bashful side as J-Hope and Suga walked along side them.
Once getting to the podium, exchanging thank yous, J-Hope accepted the award being ushered to speak first.
"ARMY-" He smiled looking out to the sea of army bombs as they screamed
"I worried a lot before coming here-" He began
"We always want to show you our best, and we want to be perfect for you. So before every time we come on stage, we prepare our performance with our heart pounding."
"uhm.. this award is.."
The lead dancer let out a smile hearing the cheering screams in the arena before his expression slowly dropped, taken over by emotion
The waver in his voiced caused Minhee to look over. She was between Suga and Jin.
He was crying.
and that... caused all of them to break.
Jungkook held his expression as Minhee turned around to face the big screen.
"I would've cried if we won this award or if we hadn't-"
"We had a really tough time... and we r-received so much love from you." He hiccuped through his speech
"I really wanted to reward that."
"a-and I want to say thank you to my members" Jimin wrapped his arounds around his torso as Taehyung was the next to crack
"Thank you and I love you."
After a few of them did there speeches it was now time for the girl to do hers.
"Yasshh-" Minhee gasped as Namjoon passed the golden award placing it in her hands stepping up to the mic.
Laughing, Jimin immediately realizing the situation, grabbing the mic stand to shorten it for her speech.
"Thank you Jimin-ah-" She blushed bashfully
"I uhm.. wow." She looked out into the audience almost speechless.
"Like J-Hope-ah and Seokjin-ah said, we were going through a difficult time... and we are where we are because of you-" Her voice began to crack causing her to pull away from the mic making armies squeal in the stands
"Sorry, I wasn't going to cry but they all did so it's o-okay!!" She sniffled as a tear slipped past her cheek quickly wiping it away causing the rest of the boys to laugh
"Thank you... to the seven amazing men that are on this stage with me-" She turned to look at the members
"We all worked so hard, and I know we don't say this enough, but I'm proud of each one of you-"
"This was a tough year for us, but..."
"We did it-" She rose up the award with pride, tears welling up again
"Forever, we love you."
"Army, thank you so much."

Off stage Minhee and Taehyung held an embrace as they cried into each others shoulders.
Taehyung... not only were they discussing disbanding in earlier months, but he lost his grandmother this year as well.
So if anyone was having the difficult time, it was him for sure.
"She's proud of you, you know that Taehyungie?" Minhee whispered into his ear as he continued to ball his eyes out.
"You know that right?" She repeated as he slowly nodded before lifting his head up
His eyes were puffy and cheeks almost as bright as his hair. Minhee, she rubbed his tears away with her thumbs holding his face in the palms of her hands.
"Are you still crying???" Jin teased trying to change the atmosphere
No more tears, only smiles~
"Come on we have to take photos!!" Namjoon ushered the group together
There was such a mixture of emotions in the room, the group at the moment didn't know what to do with themselves.
They just weren't expecting the praise and honour they received.
But winning Artist of the year... was the reassurance they needed.
Army was still with them.
They weren't alone.
Their hard work and effort, was acknowledged.
And all those emotions they held inside for so long...
This is a moment and achievement that will live on with them for the rest of their lives.
