Eddie: School sucks! * He said with a groan*
Y/n: I know, but we have to go anyway.
Eddie: Can you make me some toast real quick?
Y/n: And why can't you?
Eddie: I'm gonna go start the car.
Y/n: Alright fine.
* You gave Eddie a quick kiss and walked into the kitchen to make you and Eddie some toast. Eddie walked to a counter and grabbed his keys and walked out the door*
Y/n: What do we do now...
* You played with a ring on your finger as you waited for the toast to finish, some of the rings were store bought and others were Eddie's*
* Bang!*
* You picked up the pieces of toast and grabbed your backpack, you walked out of Eddie's trailer and into his van*
Eddie: Ready, princess?
Y/n: Yep, here's your toast.
Eddie: Oh~ thank you so much.
Y/n: You're welcome!
* You passed Eddie a piece of toast and then started eating your own, you turned on some metal music and Eddie backed out of the driveway*
( At school )
* Eddie parked his van and got out, he jogged around to your side of the car and helped you out*
Y/n: Thank you.
Eddie: It's nothing. * He said scratching the back of his neck*
Y/n: Hmm, how do you think people will react, seeing me matching you?
Eddie: Well, I think they will be surprised.
Y/n: Yeah me too.
* You and Eddie held hands as you walked into school*

* You and Eddie walked through the halls, hand in hand, everyone was staring at you. A lot of people didn't support your relationship with Eddie but you didn't give a damn, after a minute or so of walking you found Dustin and Mike propped up against lockers talking to each other*
Y/n: Hey guys!
Dustin: Hi, oh my god...
Y/n: What? Do you not like it?
Dustin: No I like it, it's just wow.
* You and Eddie laughed a bit and then Mike walked up to Eddie and said*
Mike: Did you make her do this or?
Eddie: No, trust me I was just as surprised.
Y/n: Ed's?
Eddie: Yeah?
Y/n: Let's head to class.
Eddie: Can we skip?
Y/n: No, we already skipped this week.
Eddie: Come on, please?
Y/n: No! Now come on.
* Eddie released a loud groan as you took his hand and dragged him to class*

Teacher: Harrington, Munson, your late...
Y/n: By two seconds!
Teacher: Do you want me to call your parents?
Y/n: No...
Teacher: Good.
* Eddie realized your saddened expression and squeezed your hand. You gave him a small smile, and then walked to your seat. Eddie then shortly sat down in the one beside yours*
Y/n: This is gonna be a long day.
* You didn't really pay attention to the lesson, you couldn't stop thinking about Eddie and your parents but you pushed those thoughts away and just focused on Eddie, his hair, his beautiful brown eyes and the way they sparkled, his smile*
Eddie: Y/n?
Y/n: Huh, yeah?
Eddie: You okay?
Y/n: Yeah, just deep in thought.
Eddie: About me?
Y/n: You wish.
Eddie: It was! * He yelled*
* The teacher turned toward him and stared at him*
Teacher: Eddie Munson.
Eddie: Yeah?
Teacher: Y/n Harrington.
* You didn't want to speak so you just nodded your head*
Teacher: Final warning...
* You sighed in relief and began to think*
' If I got detention mom and Steve would be pissed'
A/n: I know Steve and Y/n live by themselves and without their mom, but I'm trying to say is theirnmom lives in their neighborhood just in a different house.
* You crossed your arms on the desk and set your head on them, you were so tired of the teachers at this school, there so demanding and mean, they don't care what the students think*

Y/n: Be quiet.
Eddie: Y/n.
Y/n: What?
Eddie: I love you.
* Your heart practically melted at his words*
Y/n: I love you too.
* Even though you both were whispering the teacher still managed to hear*
Teacher: Munson! Harrington! Detention now!
Y/n: Wha- but!
Teacher: Go!
* You and Eddie walked out of the classroom and into detention*
( In detention )
* You felt tears prickle in your eyes, you new that your mom would hear of this. She told you a few weeks ago that if I ever get detention she would... Somehow Eddie new what you were thinking about and pulled you into a hug*
Eddie: It's going to be okay, I'll be there and make sure she won't do anything to you.
* The tears finally fell as you wrapped your hands around his waist and berried your head into his chest*
Y/n: Thank you, Eddie.
Eddie: Don't thank me, just relax.
* After a while you both finally took a seat, you grabbed a paper and pencil out of your bag and started drawing*
Eddie: What are you drawing, darling?
Y/n: A cat.
Eddie: Do you like cats?
Y/n: Yeah, there one of my favorite animals.
Eddie: Do you want one?
Y/n: Of course, but Steve's never bothered and my parents hate the thought of having to take care of more than they have to already.
Eddie: Hmm.
( After detention, in Eddie's van )
Y/n: Can you drive me home?
Eddie: What me to come with?
Y/n: Yeah, that would help.
* Eddie started the car and began to drove off*
( At your house )
Y/n: I'm going to die...
Eddie: No your not! I won't let that happen.
Y/n: Thank you for putting up with my shit.
Eddie: I should be thanking you.
Y/n: Yeah well...

* Eddie put out his hand for you to take and you took it*
Y/n: Here we go.
* Eddie walked in front and you behind him, he opened the door and slowly walked in*
Steve: Get pied!
* All the sudden Steve comes flying out of nowhere and throws a pie at Eddie's face, hitting him*
Y/n: Ah! * You screamed*
Steve: Oh my god! * He said laughing*
Eddie: Uh-
Y/n: Steve what the-
Steve: Just a harmless prank.
* You let go of Eddie's hand and stormed toward Steve, you grabbed his wrist and pulled him into your room, leaving Eddie to figure out what to do with the pie*
Y/n: What the hell?
Steve: What?
Y/n: Why did you do that?
Steve: You said you wanted me and Eddie to become friends and I thought maybe pulling a little prank on him might help?
Y/n: Oh Steve...
Steve: I'm sorry.
Y/n: No, it's fine I'm kind of happy you did.
Steve: Huh?
Y/n: Also how did you know he was here?
Steve: I heard his van and I already put the pie in the fridge by then, I was planning on doing it to you but I thought Eddie would be a funnier option.
Y/n: Hmm, okay I'm not mad.
Steve: Thank god, also I heard about your detention situation.
Y/n: Steve...
Steve: It's okay I'm not mad but, but mom texted me and she's coming over and wanting to talk to you.
Y/n: Shit...
Steve: Yeah.
Y/n: Stay up here, I'll deal with her.

* You didn't want to pull him into this mess, especially Steve. You rushed out of the room and down toward Eddie who was in the kitchen already finished getting the pie off his face*
Y/n: Hey babe.
Eddie: Hey, I have a question?
Y/n: What's up?
Eddie: Were getting him back right?
Y/n: Are you kidding me! Obviously we are!
Eddie: Good, that's good.
Y/n: What should we do now though.
Eddie: Hmm, oh!
Y/n: What?
Eddie: We steal his car.
Y/n: Oh!

Y/n: Yeah!
* You smiled and pulled Eddie into a kiss, but then heard a banging on the door*
Y/n: Fuck...
Eddie: It's okay, I'll get it.

Eddie: It's alright, I at least have to make an attempt at luring her away.
Y/n: Alright, but be careful she's a hard shell to crack.
Eddie: I'll be fine.
Eddie's POV
* I walked toward the front door and opened it*
???: Who the hell are you?
Eddie: What's your name?
Anna: Anna, and what the hell are you doing in my child's house?
Eddie: I'm Y/n's boyfriend.
Anna: That little shit! She knows she's not suppose to have a boyfriend!
Eddie: Don't call her that and also please leave.
Anna: No, I have to talk to her.
Eddie: About detention?
Anna: Yeah.
Eddie: And also about how she's a screw up and mistake and probably beat her, right?
Anna: How... How do you know all that!?
Eddie: I'm her boyfriend, she tells me stuff.
Anna: Just let me in!
Eddie: Leave...
Y/n POV
* I heard yelling coming from the living room, and it wasn't Eddie.
' I have to face her' * You thought*
* I walked toward the front door and said*
Y/n: Eddie.
* Eddie turned his head and looked at me*
Eddie: Darling, please go upstairs.
Y/n: Let her in.
Eddie: Y/n.
Y/n: Eddie please?
* Eddie stayed there a moment before backing up and putting his hand around your waist*
Anna: Y/n.
Y/n: Mom.
Anna: So I'm guessing he's the reason you got into detention.
Y/n: It was my fault.
Eddie: Y/n-
Y/n: Eddie, let me deal with this.
Anna: You know the consequence.
Y/n: I know...
Eddie: Woah, woah! I'm not letting her-
Y/n: Eddie...
* You turned to face him and cupped his cheek in your hand, a tear in both of your eyes*
Y/n: I'll be fine, go get Steve.
Eddie: And leave you?
Y/n: Go get Steve... He was always the favorite, mom would never hurt me when he's watching.
Eddie: Fine, but don't let her.
* You nodded slightly and kissed his cheek lightly. Eddie quickly jogged upstairs to go get Steve*
Anna: Well, your protectors aren't here anymore.
Y/n: Just get it over with...
* Mom smirked and walked up to you, smacking you with much force*
Anna: You piece of shit, getting a boyfriend when your just beginning high school!
* You stayed silent, knowing if you said anything it would just make her more mad. She punched you harder and harder, to the point it made you fall to the floor. She crawled on top of you and continued forming bruises on your face*
Steve: Mom!
* She looked up and her expression changed from angry to worried*
Anna: Steve, baby.
Steve: Get off of her!
Anna: Of course um...
* Mom got off you and Eddie ran over to you and cradled you in his arms*
Eddie: I told you to not let her!
Y/n: I'm okay, just a little bruised up.
Eddie: Come on.
* Eddie helped you up and into the kitchen*
Steve's POV
Steve: You beat her.
Anna: I never meant to, darling.
Steve: She told me mom, all these years it's been happening... What is wrong with you!?
Anna: Wha- n-nothing baby I just got a little angry, that's all.
Steve: Do you know how fucked up that is, beating your own daughter?
Anna: I-
Steve: You're pathetic.
* Mom had tears in her eyes, but I didn't care, how dare she do that to Y/n*
Steve: Get out of my house and cut contact with her.
Anna: Now, now sweetie.
Steve: Out!
* Mom slowly stepped back and out the door. I fell my body reach the ground and began crying*
Y/n POV
* Eddie cleaned the cuts on your face and bandaged them up*
Y/n: Thank you, Eddie.
Eddie: Shh, let's get you to bed.
* Eddie picked you up bridal style and started walking upstairs*
Y/n: I'm not a baby, I hurt my face not my legs.
Eddie: Let me take care of you.
Y/n: Babe.
Eddie: Let's get you to bed and you can cuddle up to me all you want.
* You just snuggled your face into his neck and closed your eyes. Eddie laid down first and then pulled you on top of him, he then kissed your forehead*
Eddie: You're okay.
Y/n: Thank you, so so much.
Eddie: Go to sleep, dumbass.
