Aurora
"Welcome to your throne room Heda. Now that the lift has been repaired, I've doubled Skaikru guards at every door." Echo informs
"Do you think people would already try something?" I ask
"I believe some people would be weary of having a Skaikru Commander..." Echo trails off
"Like you?"
"I'm loyal to you, Heda. Doesn't matter what clan you're from." Echo reassures
I hum in response before taking a seat on my throne. Roan soon came in after and stood by my side. Before he could speak, the doors open to reveal Kane and Tavia.
"Forgive the intrusion, Aurora-"
"You will call her Heda." Echo corrects
"It's okay, Echo."
"Sorry, Heda."
"May we have a word privately?" Kane continues
"You can wait like the other Ambassadors." Echo denies
"Echo leave us." Roan demands
"Please." I reassure Echo
She walks out and as soon as the door closes, Kane delivers us the news.
"We were right to be concerned with Trishanakru. Rafel is going to challenge Aurora for control." Kane warns
"Bold move for a new Ambassador." Roan scoffs
"So? Let him come." I shrug
"With respect, you're still a child and have a huge disadvantage. Bellamy and Clarke would not be happy if something were to happen to you." Kane reminds
"The law says you can pick someone to fight in your place. Rora, let me." Tavia pleads
"No. Clans will never accept a Commander who hides behind the law. Aurora has to do this on her own." Roan disagrees
"We should cancel the gathering. Or delay so you can train more." Kane suggests
"No. Letting the Ambassadors have a voice keeps the peace here. Not just me. Most of the people accept me because I proved myself and recited the lineage but there will always be some who won't accept a Skaikru Commander." I sigh
"Please let me at least talk to the Ambassador." Kane begged
"Fine. But if you fail, I'll have to fight." I say before they leave

I was now training with Echo. I had insisted on it despite her wanting to get me Tavia.
We trained for a couple of hours while Roan watched and gave some pointers and some occasional "you fight like Trikru"
"Chomouda yu na teik disha throudon in idowe? Yu laik Heda. Fis klin oyu bakon noumou, nami?" Echo questions Why accept this challenge at all? You're Commander, make your own rules.
"Ai don tel yu op. Ai nou na gon kaina Heda kom daun." I roll my eyes I told you. I won't be that kind of Commander.
We fought for a little longer and I managed to kick Echo down to the ground. She looked at me surprised as I helped her up.

It was now night, I had already been informed that I would have to fight the Ambassador since Kane couldn't convince him to back down.
I fell asleep and that's when Lexa decided to talk to me
"Hello, Aurora." Lexa smiles
"Hi Lexa." I greet happily
"I'm here to reassure you that you won't fight the Ambassador tomorrow. Also, keep your friends close to you. Especially Octavia. She's extremely loyal and it's hard to find that in people." Lexa advises
"Thank you, Heda"
"How is Clarke?"
"She's back in Arkadia with the others finding out how to save us all. Once again." I chuckle
"Sounds like Clarke... Can you tell her that I love her?" Lexa blushes
I nod, "But I thought love was weakness?"
"No, Aurora. The Commanders may tell you how love is weak but it is strong! One day, you will find someone and fall in love with them and realize how it feels. I know it. Goodbye for now." Lexa reassures before I woke up

I was sitting in the throne room with Roan along with some other people and the Ambassadors entered soon after.
"Aurora, please it's not too late to cancel." Kane begs
"You failed. We do this our way now. Take your seat, Ambassador." I order
I noticed Rafel was the only one missing.
"Where is Rafel kom Trishanakru?" I question
Suddenly Echo comes in and whispered something in my ear.
Oh my.
I stood up, "The Ambassador was found dead this morning. His heart stopped. May the spirits of the Commanders guide him. Let us begin."
