Akari POV:
ARRIVING BACK AT Tazunas house, with dirt, scratches and wet clothes but completed smiles. Me and Sakura look up to see Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke, Tazuna, Tazunas Daughter and her little kid Inari looking at us bewildered. 'I wouldn't blame them, we look pretty rough' I thought looking at them, before turning my gaze to Sakura."Just in time girls, Dinner is ready" Tazuna's Daughter said, with a warm smile. Me and Sakura nod before walking to the spare 2 seats. I sit next to Sasuke while Sakura sits next to Naruto. Kakashi sits at one end while Inari is on the other side of me.
We all say thanks before digging into the food. Me and Sakura keep making eye contact and smile before we look over at Sasuke and Naruto. They are eating their food at a rapid pace "MORE PLEASE" They both shout before glaring at each other, before widening their eyes and throwing up. "What's the point in seconds if you are just going to throw it up!? Eat normally bakas!" Sakura said, an irk mark on her forehead. "But Sakura, if I want to get stronger I must eat more!" Naruto said, glaring at Sasuke. "That is true, but there's no point if you are just going to throw it up." Kakashi stated.
~~~Timeskip: The Next Day~~~
Me and Sakura are back at the River while I sent two shadow clones, one henged as Sakura to guard Tazuna. We stand on the river first try again and start walking. "Hey, we are getting the hang of this" Sakura said, looking happy. "Yes we are, but let's try running first." I said before running with Sakura running after me. We are a bit wobbly at first before we steady ourselves. We spend the next 2 Hours perfecting our Water walking skills. I walk over to Sakura who's sitting at the trunk of a tree and sit next to her. "I don't get why people call you weak. You're amazing. You learned to Tree Walk first try as-well as Water walking, You're not Weak. You are starting to be strong." I praise her.
She looks at me with wide eyes, and a smile starts creeping up on her lips and tears in her eyes. She lunges herself at me and wraps her arms around my torso and digs her head in the crook of my neck. "Hey, hey what's wrong? Why are you crying? Is it something I said?" I said, concerned. "No, just thank you, no one has ever acknowledged my strength, or praised me like you did." She said, softly crying into my shoulder. I stroke her back in a comforting manner. We stay like this for about 20 minutes before she stands up. I stand up as well. Before I walk over to the river.
"Want to try something crazy?" I said moving my head to look at Sakura. She nods at me. "How about we try skate on water using Chakra." I said, she look at me confused before her eyes widen. "You have a good idea, we could like glide across the water easily. It's much more efficient than Water Walking or Running too. We could glide at such high speeds." She said. I smile at her, her intelligence just shocks me every time. Adding Chakra to our feet we test gliding across the water. It takes about a hour before it actually worked. Sakura jumped in joy while I just smile at her happiness.
"Alright, Let's train your Physical capabilities, I can see you have basic skills of Taijutsu. So we just have to improve that. But I want you to figure out your own fighting style by using the training we have done these past 2 days." I said, looking at her. She looks deep in thought before remembering something. "I have a great idea! So when you were asleep I stole a book on chakra from your bag-" "Wha-" "Shut up I'm not finished. And I did some research and saw Chakra also can enhance your physical abilities. So what if I added Chakra to my Punches and kicks to not only gain strength but speed. Due to our Chakra training my Chakra reserves have gone up drastically to about Low-Mid Chunin reserves, on its way to High-Chunin. So if I minimise the Chakra input but force out the Chakra at the last second and release it, it should use less chakra and cause more damage or strength.." Sakura theorises, looking at my bewildered face.
She smiles sheepishly while I just am astonished. 'She came up with that just from some Basic Chakra book?!' I thought bemused. "Alright, we can test it. It's a good theory. Let's have a spar, I want you to add chakra to your punches and kicks. Use the theory you thought of against me." I said, jumping back into a fighting stance. She nods and jumps back before putting her fists up ready, I throw a stone I picked up and just as it hits the ground, we both add chakra to our feet and dash at each other. We engage in a Taijutsu battle of punches and kicks. She hasn't added chakra yet, but I can feel she will any second. She fights me until I'm backed up against a tree, she charges up a chakra charged fist and thrusts it at me, I look at it with wide eyes before moving my head to the side so her fist hits the tree.
*SNAP, CRACK*
We look at the tree in shock as it nearly snaps in half. 'What the hell?! Her theory was correct?! If that was my head I'd have at the least a Minor Concussion...' I concluded in my head. "SHANNARO! That was epic! Did you see that Akari?!" Sakura shouted in excitement, looking at me. "Of course I saw it Sakura, I was the victim here that could've been my head." I said, looking a bit scared at the damage she caused. She laughed slightly, I look back at her before coming up with an idea. "Sakura." She looks at me, with a curious look. "Yes?" "Want to make a bet.?" She looks thoughtful before nodding. "What kind of bet?" "Who ever can cause the most damage with a Chakra filled punch has to do a dare the winner says" I look at her. She looks at me with a mischievous gaze. "Deal.."
I smirk before I walk over to a couple of boulders I saw earlier. "Help me push these boulders into a line, use chakra to help" I said before enhancing my arms with Chakra before pushing a boulder into a line with another 2. I see Sakura making another boulder line with so we have 3 boulders in a line but separated. "Alright whoever breaks all three boulders wins." I said, she nods. "3, 2, 1, GO!" I shouted before charging at the boulders with a chakra filled punch, I punch the boulders and close my eyes. I hear 5 cracks before 10 thuds. I open my eyes to see I have only 2 broken half's of the Boulders. I look over at Sakura to see she's broken...
'SHE BROKE ALL 3 BOULDERS?!' I thought in shock. She looks over to me with a smirk and I sigh in defeat, I figured she would be better at this she has great chakra control. And she thought of the Chakra theory. "Alright Sakura a deal is a deal. What do you want me to do..?" I said, defeated. Sulk lines over my head. She looks at me with a sweat drop before chucking as she thought of a idea. "Akari, I want you to dye a small part of your hair, the same colour of pink of my hair." She said, I look at her in shock. 'I LOVE MY HAIR, WHYYYY' I sigh in defeat before nodding, she jumps in happiness.
I smile at her. "Do you think they will have Hair dye here?" I question. "To be honest, No." She said. I chuckle at her. "Guess we have to do it at Konoha" I state with a smile. She laughs before taking a fighting stance, I take a fighting stance before we charge at each other.
We train for the rest of the day, Sakura looks more exhausted than me but she has a satisfied smile on her face. "Akari, Thank you." She said, out of nowhere. I look at her in confusion. 'What is she thanking me for?' "For what?" I ask confused. She smiled at me "For taking your time, making me feel happy and training me to become stronger, I haven't been this Happy in a while or felt so... complete..." She said, looking at me dazed. I smile at her before holding out a fist, she looks at it confused. "It's a fist bump Sakura.." I said, chucking as she turns red. She pushes down the blush from her face before grinning at me. She lifts up her fist before bumping her fist with mine.
She smiles at me, I notice how tired she looks. "Sakura, you look you came from hell. I will carry you home" I said. She tries to deny, but starts to fall from exhaustion. but I speed over to her and sweep her up off her feet and carry her bridal style. I climb the top of the tree, and jump high. The moon in the background. I look down at her with a close-eye smile. Unbeknownst to me, she's looking at me with such wide eyes and blush on her face, Lovestruck. (Inspired by the Kushina and Minato scene) I jump from tree to tree before arriving at Tazunas house. "Kakashi would get suspicious why 2 version of us are here, cause of the shadow clones. So we have to sneak in." I said. She nods before I walk up the wall to the window of our room and I open in. I see my clones in the futons 'asleep' I close the window before making the clones disappear. I set Sakura in her futon.
I smile at her before I go to walk to my Futon. As I take a step she grabs my hand. "Wait, can you.. um can you sleep next to me tonight.. I mean it's okay if you don't want to! It's just it's very c-cold in this part of the great nations and the blanket isn't as warm-" I cut her off by putting a finger to her mouth, I walk over to my bag and grab a pair of shorts and 2 hoodies. 1 Red, 1 Blue. I take off my clothes and put on the shorts and red hoodie before walking over to Sakura and give her my blue one. She blushes before putting it on, its baggy on her it's adorable. I climb in the Futon next to her before putting my arms around her waist, she puts her arms around my neck snugging into my chest. "Goodnight, Sakura." "Goodnight Akari." She said, before we both fell into a deep slumber, with content smiles in our faces.
