Rest of the day went as blur for arthit. Sutthilucks were legendary in the business world and had a fame for being ruthless and he is going to be sacrificial lamb for them today. Wait why does he sound so dramatic?
When he reached rojnapat's mansion he saw several cars were already parked infront. he went inside to find everyone there. As soon as the said people had eyes on arthit, he was taken to the garden by mr and mrs sutthiluck and when kong tried to get up he was pulled back down by mrs perawat and was fed different dishes.
On the other hand arthit was looking at his shoes constantly not daring to look up. When his captors didn't say a word he looked up only to see they were staring at him and he knew he was doomed.
"Uhmm swadee khrap mr sutthiluck, mrs sutthiluck" he said and waiid.
"Oh he talks I thought you forgot how to talk" mrs sutthiluck remarked sarcastically.
The talk was long with arthit apologising and getting warnings yet again but then after sensing the truthfulness sutthilucks gave him the permission directly and asked him to call them mom and dad. Hearing that arthit cried.
"Oh look he is a crybaby just like singto said haha" mr sutthiluck said trying to lighten the mood and then hugged arthit.
The family gathering went well and krist and singto's wedding was in 2 months. That was the main topic of discussion that day. they decided to , marry in america as they can lawfully marry there and that is the place where their love story started. Others were going to fly there.
In all the happiness there was sadness too. pam and aroon's relationship was rocky but no one could blame them. But they were trying. Life is not a fairytale where everyone lives the happily ever after. What matters is we try and move on.
kong and arthit decided to live together and kong officially moved back to thailand and to back home which was arthit's arms. They even kept a house warming party which was attended by their friends and everything was becoming normal. kong has met his friends from america in the month away but they were not exactly welcoming of his decision even after knowing the whole truth because their point why cant he give their friend a chance but give arthit one when he messed up? But marienette defended him as much as she can but they did get around and supported his decision and stood by him which he was more than glad for. tom didn't came saying he needs time. kong have told all about his life to arthit including tom and his friends from america and arthit wasn't happy at all knowing this.
Nobody knew when the 2 months passed because of all the work and wedding preparations. kong was singto's best man and arthit was krist's. The wedding is after a day and they were all staying at a beautiful resort. Arthit and kong's friend also came with them because the grooms invited them.
kong was teasing arthit for god knows what when their hotel room phone rang and it said them to go to room no. 702 urgently at first they were skeptical but they went nonetheless guess they were fine being kidnapped as long as it's both of them.
They entered the room to find marienette, tom, stephan and ciri being their usual selfs. kong won't say this but he missed them too much. When kong called each of them to invite them to his brother's marriage they all declined. kong felt heartbroken at that time thinking he broke the beautiful friendship. But here they were. kong had silent tears in his eyes.
marinette was the first to come and bear hug kong which made arthit scowl.
"What did you think dumbo? We will leave you? Nope you are not getting rid of us anytime in this life time bro." marienette said and left the hug to go to arthit and reciprocate the scowl he was giving her.
After a staring competition she finally hugged him saying she understands and accepts him too but if he hurts kong then... she left the sentence hanging. arthit didn't knew what to do so he had his hands hanging in the air and smiled awkwardly at marie when she stepped back. stefan and ciri did the same with kong and had a handshake with arthit then there was tom.
"Hi there" tom said with a wide smile to kong to which kong smiled back.
"I wasn't the greatest friend when you needed and I am sorry for that I hope now we can be friends that we were before"
"Its okay tom you would always be my friend but you don't have to push yourself..." kong started
"Oh common don't be narcissit I am over you now." they both laughed and hugged and the hug took a bit longer than necessary and arthit was showing his displeasure openly.
"You know you could go and break their hug if you want" marienette said coming closer to arthit.
"hmm..."arthit said but didn't move a muscle. He doubted if he had that right yet.
"Are you doubting your relationship? If yes do you really think you deserve my friend?" and that was the last thing arthit needed to hear someone questioning his love well he heard it that way. He went and grabbed kong by his waist and pulled him back. Both the men hugging were confused as to what happened then tom smirked sensing the jealousy.
"I get it now why you love him that much kong." tom said smirking and arthit went red which wasn't missed by kong and now kong was scowling not liking it a bit. Tom had a handshake with arthit too.
"Ah ah chill anyways I have got to tell you something. I am dating someone." tom said and closed his eyes. and everything went silent arthit can swear he heard the crickets chirping too. Then...
"What?"
"Who"
"When"
"How"
The questions came from four corners almost at the same time and tom knew that would be the reaction so he had already closed his ears with both of his hands.
"What? I am dating someone. Who? itsmarie'sassistantbella. When? Just a month back after I didnt go to the hangout. How? well I don't know too" tom explained.
"Eh what? It was who?" ciri asked again because he said it in one breathe and it sounded like 'mariesella'.
tom sighed and looked at marienette "I said its marienette's assistant BELLA"
Again a series of What, How, Why, Bella? came. They all knew tom was bisexual so no one questioned about him being with a girl but bella was a wild card they were like polar opposites. tom likes summer bella winter. tom likes Hip Hop bella classical. tom is sunny day and bella a cloud most probably, tom hates something bella loves it and the opposite is true too and... you get the picture. tom got warnings from marienette too because bella was like a sister to marienette. kong didn't ponder much thinking their friendship won't be awkward anymore.
"marienette as we are confessing things don't you think you should confess too" stefan said
marienette sighed "okay I am datin arnold for a week now before anyone says why havent you told us and him. He ambushed us." she grumbled
And a series of hurrays started. kong sighed a breathe of relief because he was truely worried if the chasing game would ever end for them or not.
"Like you don't have to confess anything stef stef... like how and why you ambushed us." marienette said back looking at her nails.
This time stefan grumbled, "ugh okay I proposed caroline infront of eiffel tower and she said yes and that's where we saw marie and arnold on their date holding hands." he smiles saying the part 'she said yes' and then again a series of cheering came.
Now everyone turned to ciri even arthit who didnt knew anyone personally.
"What? I don't have any?" she laughed it off nervously.
stefan, marie and tom crossed their hands in disapproval.
"what I didn't ambush anyone common guys" she said but looking at the determined expressions of her friends which said if our secrets is out then everyone's will too. She took a deep breathe.
"Okay okay there is this guy in the hotel I really like him. I tripped over him and he hold me like every cringey seriel ever but he is so handsome. He is chinese looking guy, tall and fair wearing hawaiian shirt..." she continued with dreamy guys and obviously the 3 have witnessed the scene themselves and saw the all mighty ciri blush and stutter.
But this sounded trouble to arthit. chinese looking, tall, fair and... 'hawaiian shirt'! Are you sure it's not someone who have accompanied him and has a brain opposite to his name? He looked at kong who was also in the middle of processing then they shared a look and arthit's face said it all. Now that he thinks of it last night bright came in and announced he had finally found the love of his life and he thinks she loves him too. yeah his words.
"ciri is it him?" arthit asked showing a picture of bright. ciri immediately took the phone in her hands and smiled at it nodding vigorously.
"Do you know him? What's his name? Is he still here? Is he single?" arthit couldn't help but think if she is the female version of bright but kong had an amused look because ciri was always silent and composed, she never cared about relationships much but she looked serious now.
"Yeah... he is my friend bright and came with me. He is single I guess." arthit said. ciri took him by his arms and tugged him to go to bright with her. This was such a rare scene everyone took a few minutes to recover and by then ciri had successfully manged to take arthit out of room. kong followed them. But luckily bright was in the corrider. Seeing him she dropped arthit's arms unceremoniously and ran to him with a huge smile. kong came and stood by arthit's side.
"Do you think we should interfere?" kong asked
"I would rather not. Let's get out of here" arthit took kong's hand and went away.
2 more to go! Honestly I am surprised I am going to complete this story 'cause I am not at all into rom genre and would rather watch sci-fi but then Sotus happened and I can't get enough of it (MGK's my ex's bestfriend intensifies)😅😅.
