Aurora
I was going back to Arkadia with Clarke and Lexa to deliver Queen Nia. The only reason I was going is because I'm Skaikru and I really wanted to see Tavia and Lincoln which Heda allowed. I miss my other friends too but they practically raised me while on the ground.
Especially Tavia.
"Thinking about home?" Heda asked Clarke and I
"Thinking about weather Arkadia is home." Clarke sighs while I just nod.
"When I left, it had a different name. I was different." Clarke says
"You left a hero to your people. And you will return one. The mountain slayer returned with the body of the Ice Queen and a promising novelty. Wouldn't it be interesting if the thirteen clans would end up being ruled over by someone from Skaikru? You bring them justice." Heda smiles
"You bring them justice." Clarke corrects
"We bring them peace." Heda responds
"I still can't believe I'll see Lincoln and Tavia after all this time. Do you think they'll recognize me with my armor and hairdo?" I question
"I'm pretty sure they will. I'm happy for you, Aurora. You will be able to reunite with them soon enough." Heda smiles while Clarke chuckles, glad that I still behave as a child from time to time
As we were approaching the army that was sent to protect Skaikru, one of the guards yelled "Heda!"
Confused, we looked at the gruesome scene before our eyes.
The entire army was dead.
We dismount our horses and walk through the field with guards on either side of us, watching in horror.
How could someone commit genocide against an army sent to protect-
"All bullet wounds." I realized
"Heda! Miya snap!" A guard yells from afar Heda! Come quick!
We run to the guard to see Indra. She's alive.
"Indra!" Heda calls out
Clarke pulls back a piece of her armor to see a bullet wound.
"I need bandages." She orders
"Stay away. You're one of them." Indra weakly demands
"Indra, teik em sis au." Heda orders indra, let her help
"Indra what happened?" Heda asked
"They attacked when we slept. Our watch was to the north, looking for Azgeda. They killed our archers first. Our infantry couldn't get close. Then they executed the wounded." Indra informs
What?
"The summit was two days ago. How could Kane do this?" I ask
"Not Kane. It was Pike." Indra frowned
Now it all makes sense.
"How did you escape?" Heda asked
"Bellamy."
"Bellamy was with them?" Clarke questioned
"He wanted to spare the wounded, but they wouldn't listen. He convinced Pike to let me live. So I could deliver a message." Indra says
"What message?"
"Skaikru rejects the coalition. This is their land now. We can leave or we can die."
"Send riders. I call upon the armies of the Twelve Clans. In days time we lay waste to Arkadia. And everyone within its walls." Heda commanded
"Yes Heda. Mount up!" Her guards nodded
"Wait. Give me time to fix this." Clarke said before starting to walk away
"Hod em op!" Heda yelled to be guards, causing them to point their weapons at her. Stop her!
"What are you doing?" Clarke questions
"I can't let you leave, Clarke." Heda frowns
"So I'm a prisoner now? Just like that?" Clarke asks
"Yes."
"Lexa let me go to Arkadia." Clarke begged
"No."
"At least let me talk to Kane. We can bring him here. Indra, the summit. Kane told me he gave you a radio. A way to signal him. Do it. Please." Clarke asked
...
We were now in one of the tents where Clarke had treated Indra's wounds
"The bleeding stopped. We just need something for the pain." She says
Suddenly I turn to see Tavia.
"Octavia?" Clarke's eyes widen
"Tavia!" I yell and engulf her in a hug
"Rora... you look so different... like a grounder." Tavia weakly smiled
"You and I." I sigh
"Where's Kane?" Clarke asks
"He sent me."
"Indra. Thank God." Tavia sighed, walking over to Indra
"How did this happen?" Heda questions
"Kane lost the election to Pike. Everything's different." Tavia frowns
"Your people voted for this." Heda says
"No. No I don't believe that." Clarke denies
I scoff. How would we know?
"How would you know Clarke? You haven't been here." Tavia reminded
"Listen to me. The grounder army is going to be here in less than a day. I need to see Bellamy." Clarke said
"Bellamy was apart of this. He's with Pike. What makes you think he'll help us?" Tavia questions
"He saved Indra's life. If what Octavia is saying is true, Pike trusts Bellamy. If I can get close to him,he can get to Pike." Clarke said, determined
"You can't just walk through the gates Clarke. You've been living with their enemy. If it were me, I'd kill you on the spot." Heda reminds
"I can get her in." Tavia nodded

"Aurora, tell me about your time on the ground when you first landed. I'm curious as to how your people treated you." Heda said
"Well Clarke and Wells who is now dead were the ones who used to look out for me the most. Now it feels like I'm the least important person to Clarke... it hurts sometimes but people change and I have Tavia and Lincoln now." I sigh
I told Heda everything. How I was mute, how Murphy almost killed me, how the war unfolded from our point of view, ect.
"You've been through so much. I know your pain, Aurora. To feel people looking down upon you, being in war at a young age. And here we are... on the brink of yet another war." Heda frowns
"I just can't believe Skaikru would do such a terrible thing. Everyone was right. Skaikru are bringers of death. They want war. If they didn't, they wouldn't have committed genocide." I grumble
"I feel like you and Aden are my most promising novelty's. I know most of my people see you as Skaikru but you are Trikru. Your people locked you up for petty crimes at a young age and when they sent you down to your death, they still tried to control you. There will be no more of that while you are under my protection, Aurora." Heda promises
I smile, "thank you Heda."

"Ai nou get in taim oso na teik emo fayogon daun. Sef bilaik oso na lan emo op." Indra says I don't know if we can beat their guns. Not unless we use them ourselves.
A guard then came into the tent, "Heda, em komba raun." Commander, she's back
Clarke comes in but without Tavia sadly
"Where's Octavia?" Indra questions
"She's watching over camp." Clark says
"So, tell us Clarke, how dose this end? Have you come up with a way to save your people, yet again?" Heda questions
"No. Only you can. What happened here was an act of war. Your army was here to protect us and my people slaughtered them. You have every right to respond. Or, you can change the way you do things." Clarke suggests
"Why should she change? Blood must have blood." Indra states.
"Really? Because from where I stand, the only way that ends is with everyone dead. So what kind of leader do you want to be? The kind she kills every chance she gets because that's your way, or the kind who shows the world a better way?" Clarke questions
"You consider letting a massacre go unavenged a better way?" Heda asks
"If it breaks the cycle of violence, yes. If it brings about peace, yes. Someone has to take the first step. Let it be you. You say you want peace. That everything you've done was to achieve that. Yet here we stand on the brink of another war. A war you can stop." Clark urges
Heda pauses for a moment, deep in her thoughts.
"Commander, you can't seriously be considering this." Indra furrows her eyebrows
"I'm not considering it. I'm doing it." Heda finishes
"Heda please-"
"Indra. Our people act as if war is easier than peace. If that is so, should we not try and achieve the more difficult goal?" Heda stated
"Polis will not support you. Titus-"
"Is my subject. They're all my subjects. Do you say they will defy me? Will you defy me?" Heda asks with a stern voice
"No Heda I will not." Indra nods
"Then let it be known. Blood must not have blood."
