They had been at the hotel for about an hour and Amy was stood out on the balcony looking out at the view, she could see the eiffel tower quite clear as it wasn't that far away. Rory came out and stood next to her, "hey".
"Hey" she smiled at him, "it's so beautiful here".
"I know, not as beautiful as you though" he smiled and kissed her a couple of times.
She smiled even more, "this must have cost a fortune".
"Well, that is a need-to know basis, and you don't need to know or to worry about it, it's my job wages that paid for it, I just really wanted to treat my wife."
"You mean our job wages, we have a shared bank account".
"Well yeah I know, but your job's only part time".
"Yeah because I stay home and look after our children".
"Amy let's not argue about this, can we just enjoy the weekend okay".
"What you mean enjoy spending your money, because apparently my job money doesn't matter".
"Amy I didn't say that"
"You didn't have to, I've known you long enough to know what you meant." She picked up her jacket and went towards the hotel room door.
"Where are you going?"
"The Eiffel Tower, you and your money can stay here" she opened the door and left.
