(We see Ash and Goh are in Hoenn)
Sophocles: hey!!
(They look over to see Sophocles)
Ash: Sophocles! (They rush over laughing in Joy)
Sophocles: hi Ash! Hi Goh! Long time no see!
Ash: Sophocles! Togedemaru! How's it going. (Sees an ampharos) ampharos
(Togedemaru gets excited and goes towards Pikachu as they hug)
Rotom phone: ampharos, the light Pokémon, an electric type. The tip of ampharos's tail lights up, guiding people who are lost. Like a lighthouse, this Pokémon is known for leading ships to safety.
Goh: so this project involves Ampharos
Sophocles: it sure does. Why don't you say hi?
(He pushes ampharos who stumbles and goes crashing into Ash)
Sophocles: I'm so sorry! It can get so flustered!
Goh: oh... that's why.
Ash: (shakes off the pain) it's okay, nice to meet you ampharos.
(Ampharos looks sorry but Pikachu reassures it as it talks to it as grookey speaks too)
Goh: and this is grookey.
Sophocles: nice to meet you grookey.
Ash: how's everyone in Alola?
Sophocles: everyone's great and wants to see you again and Kiawe is psyched to have another battle with (Y/N) but especially with Goh. Oh, how's raboot?
Goh: (grinning and arrogantly chuckles) come on out! (Sends out cinderace) meet cinderace, it evolved from raboot.
Sophocles: that's awesome! You look so cool! (Realises) hey, where's (Y/N)?
Ash: he's in Johto.
Goh: something came up, he said he had to deal with something urgently. He's said he's sorry he couldn't make it here.
(Flashback: they're in Cerise park ready to go)
Ash: well we better get going.
Goh: let's go!
(Y/N): yeah! Let's- (he's cut off as he's got this feeling) wait hang on.
Ash/Goh: huh?
(Y/N): I keep getting this feeling that something's wrong and it's coming from... Johto?
Ash/Goh: Johto?
Goh: should we go with you?
Ash: yeah we can always reschedule and meet with Sophocles another time.
(Y/N): no, let's not. I can handle this on my own. You two go help Sophocles and tell him I'm sorry I couldn't attend.
(Flashback end)
Ash: and that it may have something to do with his bright glowing hand thing.
Goh: it was strange.
(Flashback continuation)
(Y/N): no, let's not. I can handle this on my own. You two go help Sophocles and tell him I'm sorry I couldn't attend.
(He goes to leave but they notice something)
Ash: what's that?
Goh: (Y/N), your hand.
(Y/N): huh?
(He looks as he sees his hand, or should I say his palms, as they're glowing and they stop glowing as he notices and looks)
(Flashback end)
Sophocles: oh I'm sorry to hear that. Alright, we're off to the Mossdeep space center!
(With (Y/N))
(Y/N): (looks at his palms) what was that about? Earlier I thought I sensed... was that real? (He closes his eyes and focuses as he then opens his eyes and he's in this pitch black void place as he then hears a roar as he looks to see raikou roaring out as it seems to be in pain)
(Y/N): raikou?
(Raikou then sees (Y/N) as it roars out as it looks and sounds like it needs help as it gets hit by something and it falls to the ground in pain as (Y/N) opens his eyes for real and he's back on the train)
(Y/N): I know where I need to go but why does raikou need my help? Well I'll just have to find out
(The train stops as he gets off)
(We cut back to the rest of the gang In the Mossdeep space Center)
Ash: (has his face pressed up against some glass) oh wow, cool.
Goh: we really appreciate the invite Sophocles
Sophocles: no problem
Ash: what's that! (Rushes off)
Sophocles: hey Ash! If you run off you're gonna get lost!
Goh: I'll tell you, I've never expected you'd be involved in the talonflame2 re-entry project!
Sophocles: I'm pretty sure I'm still dreaming
(They enter a room with lots of tech as loads of people are talking as they see the gang enter)
Man: oh hey Sophocles, are these the guests you told us about?
Sophocles: that's right, unfortunately one of them couldn't make it and needed to deal with more important personal matters.
Ash: my name's Ash
Goh: I'm Goh, thanks so much.
Ellery: I'm Ellery, I do research here at the space Center
Goh: we appreciate this opportunity for you to let us watch you work. I never would have dreamed I'd be able to see such a historic project up close like this
Ash: and it's so awesome there's a talonflame in out of space too (pictures a literal talonflame in space)
Goh: no there's not, it's a satellite investigating asteroids
Ash: really, a satellite!
(Sophocles and Ellery chuckle)
Sophocles: the reason why talonflame2 was launched here from the space Center is so we can gather valuable data and samples from the asteroid. (Ellery gives a thumbs up as another researcher types away on a computer)
Ellery: here's a recording of the launch
(They play the recording of the asteroid being sent into space)
Goh: incredible!
(We see the launch from the satellite's perspective as it breaks away and the satellite extends out and forms)
Ellery: after it broke away talonflame2 began its journey toward the asteroid and after quit a long journey it finally arrived.
(We see talonflame2 landing on the asteroid and getting data and samples before flying up ready to leave)
Ellery: talonflame2 completed its mission successfully. Currently, it's making its way back to us bringing data and samples. (We see talonflame2 heading towards Earth)
Sophocles: and that's where ampharos comes in. The light from the tip of ampharos's tail has a specific wavelength so it's amplified and sent up as a signal.
Ellery: that signal will ultimately be picked up by talonflame2's sensors and the sensors will allow the satellite to safely re-enter the atmosphere of our planet without it losing its way.
Goh: in other words, the light emanating from ampharos's tail is acting kinda like a lighthouse right?
Ash: a lighthouse for the sea and outer space.
Ellery: we are also inviting children from all over the planet to get involved with the project with the hope they'll get interested in space too.
(We see a profile of a bunch of kids with ampharos too pop up on the screen)
Ash: would you look at all of those kids
Goh: (squeals in excitement) if only I had an ampharos too!
Ellery: so, it's almost time. Now Sophocles, will you both take your positions please.
Sophocles: of course. Let's go ampharos!
(Rushes as ampharos panics and goes to rush too but stumbles and whacks Ash in the face with it's tail and Goh too as it continues to stumble and just manages to keep its balance as it gloomily walks)
Sophocles: ampharos? Are you all okay? I'm so sorry.
(Ampharos goes to step on togedemaru as said Pokémon panics as it jumps away and crashes into some technology which sparks once before togedemaru lands in Sophocles' hands)
Sophocles: oh well, what do you say we all take our positions, okay?
(Ampharos walks to get ready as the piece of equipment togedemaru crashed into continues to spark)
Goh: I hope that it's alright
Ash: give it your best ampharos!
(They get ready and power the machinery as ampharos is sat in position)
Ellery: circuit complete!
Woman: switching from crabe observatory in 17 seconds, 16, 15, 14,13, 12...
Sophocles: let's do this are you ready ampharos!
(Ampharos uses it's head and tail lights as all the lights in ampharos's pod thing turn on)
Woman: 11, 10, 9, 8, 7
Ellery: you better angle it at minus 0 point 2 degrees, output 80%.
Woman: 6, crabe observatory has terminated its guidance signal, 5,4
Ellery: Mossdeep space Center sending guidance signal and go!
Woman: 3,2,1.
(Ampharos uses it's lights and the pod machine thing is powering up as a red beam shoots up reaching talonflame2)
Man: talonflame2 has received the signal, reading are nominal.
Ash: I don't get it but it's cool.
Goh: to be this close to the action
Sophocles: great ampharos!
(Ampharos is struggling but trying it's best to keep the lights up as cinderace notices the sparking part as the rest hear an explosion)
Goh: what?!
(The see the sparking part beginning to emit smoke as ampharos is beginning to freak out as people rush to it as ampharos stops the lights on it's head and tail)
Ellery: emergency stop! (Pushes a button) switch emergency control over to annius observatory)
Man: right!
(Changes the control as a boy with an amoharos get into position and fire a beam to guide talonflame2)
Man: report, annius observatory signal sent, readings nominal talonflame2 is still on course.
Ellery: (relieved) in a nick of time. Huh?
(We see the control panel looking thing is completely destroyed)
Sophocles: I'm wondering if we made some sort of mistake.
Ellery: (puts a hand on Sophocles' shoulder) Sophocles, we should have the system repaired for the next time. So, perhaps you should give ampharos a little rest for now.
Sophocles: (sad) okay.
(Ampharos looks sad too as they both walk away)
(With (Y/N))
(We see him arrive at an all too familiar location, the forest of where on of his greatest tragedies yet crowning achievements came from)
(Y/N): I was sensing raikou here but it's nowhere in sight. I need to use that thing again so I can help raikou but how! (Keeps trying but nothing's happening as he takes a deep breath as he calms down) hmmmmm but how do I do it?
(However he's interrupted as he sees a large amount of electricity being released really far in the distance as he rushes over to check it out)
(A few hours later he finally has made his way over there as he is stopped and blocked off by about 15 team rocket grunt)
(Y/N): (sighs) really.
Grunt: we will not let you passed!
(They send out a bunch of Kanto poison types from the usual koffing, ekans, grimer and sun at as well as a muk, arbok and weezing and a gloom and a nidorino and a nidorina)
(Y/N): alright then (gets out 6 pokeballs and sends out cranidos, bisharp, gliscor, wispeon, dreepy and wartortle) let's get em boys!
(Y/N): use water pulse! Shadow ball! Acrobatics! Quick attack! Headbutt! Iron head!
(They all use their attacks as gliscor takes out the gloom and nidorino, bisharp takes care of the arbok and weezing, shadow ball hits nidorina and dreepy takes care of the ekans and koffing bad water pulse hits the grimer but headbutt doesn't take out the muk)
(Left standing is a muk and a bunch of zubat, koffing and ekans as they all fire various poison attacks except from the zubats who use air cutter as the poison attacks vary from sludge wave and sludge bomb and muk fires gunk shot as the attacks land as all the Pokémon are still standing and are luckily not poisoned)
(Y/N): we need to push through guys! Let's go!
(They all launch their attacks again and all the grunt Pokémon are defeated as he returns them all except for bisharp who refuses)
(Y/N): don't you want some rest?
(Bisharp shakes it's head no)
(Y/N): right well we better get moving.
(They keep walking as they reach a facility)
(Inside the facility we see raikou in a cage of sorts out for the count with lots of bruising as a wall is broken down as they look and two shadowy figures emerge as we see it's (Y/N) and bisharp)
Big buff man Man: who's this runt
Nerdy young man: I'm not sure
Woman: who cares, he's gonna ruin our mission for the boss.
Big buff man: I owe the boss my life!
(Y/N): who cares! You've got raikou who's my friend! Let it go!
Nerdy young man: arrogance leads to failure
Woman: I envy you- you have to battle against me, let alone all of us. You'll lose for sure.
(Y/N): who even are you?
Big Buff man: team rocket elite member Cliff!
Young nerdy man: I am Arlo, another elite of team rocket
Woman: and I am Sierra, another elite of team rocket. If you were to rank us on a hierarchy it'd be the boss and then his secretary and then us three but we're way stronger than that pathetic secretary Matori.
(Y/N): I couldn't care less.
Cliff/Arlo/Sierra: go!
(They send out their Pokémon as Arlo has a scizor, Cliff sends out an omastar and Sierra uses Nidoqueen)
(Y/N): get ready bisharp (Bisharp nods). Now I choose you two! (Sends out wartortle and gliscor)
Arlo: bullet punch.
Cliff: hydro pump
Sierra: superpower!
(Y/N): water pulse!
(Nidoqueen goes to hit bisharp but Wartortle jumps in front and fires water hitting Nidoqueen but Nidoqueen still manages to hit wartortle as bisharp hits bisharp away and blocks the hydro pump with ease and gliscor takes the bullet punch with little issue)
(Y/N): now use iron head and acrobatics!
(Gliscor and bisharp use their moves and hit omastar with iron head and scizor with acrobatics as both scizor and omastar are unable to battle)
Sierra: Nidoqueen use Earth power!
(Nidoqueen uses earth power which bisharp takes head on and tanks as it puts it's arms up to block)
Arlo: you are powerful
Cliff: you runt!
(They both proceed to send out another Pokémon as Arlo sends out a steelix)
(Y/N): use iron head! Use water pulse! Gliscor acrobatics!
Arlo: now steelix use iron tail
Cliff: use ice fang!
(Wartortle uses water pulse hitting steelix as steelix powers through and hits wartortle with iron tail as wartortle is unable to battle and as gliscor goes to hit Nidoqueen tyranitar catches it in its mouth out the sky and uses ice fang and slams gliscor on the ground as it's unable to battle)
(Y/N): gliscor return! Wartortle return! Wispeon and cranidos I choose you! (Sends out wispeon and Cranidos)
Sierra: use earth power!
(Y/N): now wispeon shadow ball! Cranidos jump and use headbutt! Bisharp iron head!
(Wispeon fires shadow ball as cranidos and bisharp both jump and avoid the Earth power both nailing Nidoqueen in the face as it falls to the ground unable to battle)
Sierra: you brat!
Cliff: tyranitar use crunch!
Arlo: steelix bulldoze
(Both Pokémon attack as wispeon disappears and avoids the crunch as it reappears away from tyranitar but the bulldoze manages to hit cranidos who falls to the ground and is hurt a lot)
(Y/N): oh no cranidos! Wispeon use aura sphere!
(Wispeon uses aura sphere hitting and hurting steelix whilst severely hurting tyranitar
Sierra: you're so dead brat. (Sends out a houndoom) boys, I think it's time.
(They nod as they seem to activate something as their Pokémon begin as we see them mega evolve as we have a mega houndoom, mega steelix and a mega tyranitar)
(Y/N): (sweating slightly) this is really bad.
Cliff: stone edge!
(Tyranitar uses stone edge as it hits bisharp who jumps in front to protect cranidos and is sent flying backwards)
(Y/N): oh no bisharp!
Arlo: use gyro ball.
(Steelix uses gyro ball hitting wispeon)
Sierra: flamethrower!
(Houndoom uses flamethrower as it heads for bisharp but cranidos jumps in front and takes the hit)
(Y/N): cranidos!
(Cranidos takes the attack as it takes the heat as it glows in a blue light and evolves into rampardos as the flamethrower stops as rampardos is there panting a lot and on it's last legs)
(Y/N): way to go rampardos!
(Rampardos isn't done as it charges towheads mega tyranitar)
Cliff: stone edge!
(Mega tyranitar uses stone edge as rampardos charges through and breaks through it and hits mega tyranitar with a new move, endeavour as mega tyranitar is hurt a lot and on it's last legs like rampardos)
Rampardos moveset: endeavour, headbutt, swords dance, assurance
Arlo: iron tail
(Mega steelix uses iron tail hitting rampardos as it falls to the ground unable to battle)
(Y/N): rampardos return (returns rampardos) you were amazing. Dreepy I choose you! (Sends out dreepy) now use double team!
(Loads of dreepy appear)
Sierra: use dark pulse!
(Mega houndoom fires dark pulse as all the Dreepy disappear until about 10 more reappear)
(Y/N): now use quick attack!
(All the dreepy use quick attack as the ones heading towards mega steelix and mega houndoom get right in their face about to hit them before disappearing as the actual dreepy hits mega tyranitar with quick attack over and over as mega tyranitar falls and is unable to battle and transforms back)
(Y/N): that's one down. (Looks at Rampardos' pokeball) you were a major help.
Cliff: dammit! I failed...
(Y/N): now use aura sphere wispeon!
(Wispeon fires three aura spheres)
Arlo: hit it back with iron tail
Sierra: flamethrower
(Mega Houndoom uses flamethrower and stops one aura sphere as another hits the container where raikou is loosening it but it's not free as electricity is sparking as bisharp is hit by the aura sphere mega steelix hit away via iron tail)
Sierra: you brat.
Arlo: it's okay, the containment unit is still in tact and sturdy. We should still have no problems transporting raikou.
(Y/N): like hell you are! Bisharp night slash on that container! Wispeon amd dreepy you two attack houndoom and steelix!
Sierra: dark pulse!
Arlo: crunch
(Mega steelix goes to use crunch as it swallows and crunches wispeon's shadow ball that it fired and as mega houndoom fires dark pulse dreepy is covered in a blue light as it evolves into a drakloak (which doesn't have a dreepy on it) and uses it's newly learned dragon pulse to cancel the dark pulse out barely in the nick of time)
Drakloak: quick attack, dragon pulse, double team, bite
(Bisharp kicks Cliff away who tries to block it and slashes the machine doing more damage but raikou is still not free just yet)
(However Cliff then rushes at (Y/N) and shoulder bashes him against a wall and then knees him in the causing (Y/N) to cough up saliva and then he uppercuts him in the jaw causing (Y/N) to bite down on his lip as blood comes pouring down his lip and blood drips to the ground as his Pokémon try to save their trainer)
Sierra: now flamethrower!
Arlo: crunch.
(Mega Steelix uses crunch hitting drakloak and wispeon and bisharp is hit in the back by flamethrower from mega houndoom)
(Y/N): (in pain) use shadow ball and use dragon pulse.
Arlo: gyro ball
(We see drakloak fire dragon pulse hitting mega steelix as wispeon fires shadow ball as mega steelix takes them head on as wispeon manages to get away mega steelix's gyro ball slams drakloak down into the ground and it's unable to battle)
(Y/N): drakloak return. (Returns drakloak) it's up to you two.
(Bisharp and wispeon nod but they're pretty weak at the moment too)
(Y/N): we're gonna save raikou NO MATTER THE COST!!!
(His Pokémon shout out in determination as raikou begins to stir as we see from its perspective it's vision is all blurry)
(Y/N): (breaks free by punching Cliff in the face who was about to hold (Y/N) up by his throat) AURA SPHERE!!! NIGHT SLASH!!!
Arlo: use gyro ball
(Bisharp hits mega steelix as it uses gyro ball as the two moves clash as sparks are made from the clash as it's a battle of force and will)
Sierra: (smirks) use dark pulse on bisharp!
(Mega houndoom readies dark pulse about to fire it at bisharp as wispeon goes to use aura sphere on the container)
Sierra: now hit wispeon with it instead!
(Mega houndoom changes targets and hits a direct dark pulse on wispeon as it falls to the ground but manages to fire the aura sphere... however due to it falling it misses the container as it's perfect shot is messed up last minute as wispeon is unable to battle as bisharp overpowers the gyro balling mega steelix and hits it away as it smashes against the container)
(Y/N): return! (Returns wispeon) thanks a lot wispeon, you were great. It's up to you bisharp (Bisharp nods) now assurance!
(Bisharp charges in with assurance hitting mega steelix as it falls and is unable to battle and transforms back)
(Y/N): one more to go. Now night slash!
(Bisharp goes to use night slash on mega houndoom)
Sierra: flamethrower!
(Mega houndoom fires flamethrower hitting bisharp who powers through and lands the night slash)
Sierra: now it's up close fire fang!
(Mega houndoom uses fire fang)
(Y/N): assurance!
(Bisharp uses assurance as the two attacks clash and the two Pokémon knock each other away)
(Y/N): bisharp use-
(He's stopped as Cliff is back up and punches him back and next to a machine that has come out and starts shocking (Y/N) with high amounts of voltage as we see Arlo on a device as bisharp goes to save it's trainer but is hit in the back by a flamethrower and falls to the ground defeated as raikou is now fully regaining consciousness and sees what's happening)
(Y/N): B...Bisharp... return. (He manages to successfully returns bisharp as Arlo ups the voltage as raikou is wide eyed at this and gets mad)
(Suddenly the area goes dark and the power goes out and all machines stop working as (Y/N) drops to the ground as the three team rocket members look at raikou as it's emitting tons of electricity as thunder strikes coming through the ceiling in front of them causing them to stumble and fall as they look up at the big hole they see a massive and incredibly dark storm cloud radiating and filled with electricity as a loud thunder is heard before lots of lightning strikes around the area of their base before one massive one hits the container and destroys it freeing the now awake but still heavily bruised raikou before it's coated in electricity and next second it's in front of mega houndoom as their is a stare down)
(Y/N): (barely conscious) you're out of your league, raikou won't fall to you. I believe in it, after all it is the legendary Pokémon of thunder.
Sierra: you still think you have a chance, shadow ball!
(Mega houndoom fires shadow ball as raikou fires thunder which evaporated the shadow ball and hits mega houndoom as it looks weak and then we see raikou open it's mouth as it uses scald hitting mega houndoom and it falls unable to battle as it transforms back as we see raikou is still enraged as the members of team rocket are intimidated by it as Arlo is trying to get the power back online but raikou just incinerates his device instead as more lightning strikes down and the place is ready to blow)
(We see raikou grab (Y/N) by his shirt/top and makes a run for it and as we see it get far enough away we see the place explode as the status of those three are unknown and but what is known is that the blast radius has sent raikou and (Y/N) launched into the air but raikou recovers and summons more lightning)
(A few minutes later)
((Y/N) regains consciousness as he sees he's flying in the air as he takes a proper look we zoom out slightly to see raikou running in the air as it's using electricity as a path of sorts to run on as they reach a safe spot far away and raikou lands and puts (Y/N) gently before collapsing down next to him tired as they both look each other and are happy as they both close their eyes and rest)
(Cutting back to Sophocles and ampharos we see they're outside back to back out in the dark night sky as time has passed since the mid afternoon where we saw raikou and (Y/N) began their rest as Pikachu and grookey who's on Pikachu as Ash and Goh along with cinderace come to their friends aid as he's down in the dumps)
Goh: wow amoharos there was some trouble but your light went all the way to talonflame2!
Ash: that's for sure! It was really bright and went so far out!
Goh: don't worry, Ellery is going to fix the panel and after that you can do it again
Sophocles: you're right, thank you. (Laughs) Ampharos turn your light on.
(Ampharos tries but it's light won't turn on as it keeps trying but it won't turn on)
Goh: what's going on?
Ash: could it be it can't light up at all
(Ampharos puts it's tail down and grookey gets off)
Ash: Goh but why? It's light was bright a few minutes ago
Goh: hmmm, maybe the shock of failing has sent it into a slump.
Sophocles: Ampharos, keep calm and I'm sure you'll light up again. Huh?
(Ampharos jumps up and knocks Sophocles on the floor in the process and runs away)
Sophocles: wait Ampharos! Ampharos!
(Ampharos keeps running)
Ash/Sophocles: Ampharos!
Goh: where are you?!
(There's no response)
Goh: nothing.
Sophocles: I guess I'm useless here after all
Ash: what do you mean?
Sophocles: it's because... I'm not Ampharos' real trainer.
Goh: you mean Ampharos belongs to someone else?
Sophocles: (nods) mhm. Big Mo lent Ampharos to me.
Sophocles: so I could do this project.
Goh: Big Mo?
Ash: yeah, Molayne works at Hokulani Observatory. He's Sophocles' cousin
(Flash back to Sophocles, Kukui and Molayne)
Sophocles: the thing is, I was determined to join the project and asked Big Mo for help. So that's why he kindly lent out Ampharos to work with me. Ampharos was the reason Mossdeep space Center called me in the first place, I was really determined to make this project a total success.
Goh: Sophocles...
Sophocles: I can't do anything to encourage Ampharos. If it goes on, it'll effect everyone's work. Maybe I should take myself off the project
Ash: I can't let you do that!
Sophocles: Ash?
Ash: no matter what you always give it everything you've got. The reason you wanted in was you wanna become an astronaut right?
(Sophocles nods)
Ash: the full speed ahead to the end!
Goh: yeah he's right, it's not over yet! So the first thing we need to do is find Ampharos. (Looks around) what? Where's Grookey? NOW GROOKEY'S GONE TOO!!!
(We see Grookey chasing a light)
Goh: it is grookey after all. Maybe it thought it saw Ampharos' light and chased it.
(We see grookey latch onto the light as we see it's a volbeat as it shakes grookey off and keeps flying as it looks around as water drops to the ground as it begins raining)
Ash/Goh: hey grookey!
Sophocles: Ampharos!
Ash: where are you! Grookey!
(Cinderace has found something as they look they see it's Ampharos sitting down by the rock cinderace is on)
Sophocles: (goes over to it) Ampharos! Thank goodness!
Ash: now let's go find grookey.
Goh: the weather doesn't look good.
Sophocles: hey togedemaru we need light.
(Togedemaru but not much light is emitted)
Sophocles: oh no, it's just not enough.
Ash: alright Pikachu thunderbolt let's go.
(Pikachu fires a Thunderbolt into the sky but it's only finite and inevitably not enough)
Ash: even a Thunderbolt is not enough.
Goh: we need something stronger that gives off light for a long time.
Ash: you're right.
All 3 of them: (realise) Ampharos!
(Ampharos looks up)
Goh: please! we need your light to find grookey! You'll help us find him, won't you?
(Ampharos just looks at him as it looks at Sophocles who's approaching it)
Sophocles: Ampharos, I've made a lot of mistakes and it makes me feel sad too but I believe if you don't quit you can make your dreams come true and even if I'm not good enough I'll always give it my best and I'd love it if you could give it your very best too.
(Ampharos looks at it's tail as it tries once again and there's a faint glow)
Sophocles: almost there.
(Ampharos tries harder as it's tail glows brighter and brighter as it's pulled it off)
Ash: great way to go.
Goh: you're on your way!
(A/N): the journey starts today? Sorry a bad joke by me.
(Ampharos gets up as it's head light a,so lights up as the gang cover their eyes from the bright light emitted as grookey sees the shining light from its current unknown location and follows it as it reaches Goh and everyone as they see it and Goh rushes over)
Ash: hey Goh over there!
Goh: grookey!
(Goh holds his arms out as grookey leaps and lands in them and it all looks nice and happy until grookey jumps and hits Goh in the face with its body as he hugs Goh as he takes grookey in his arms as grookey hugs into Goh's chest)
Goh: awww, I was really worried about you grookey.
(Ampharos stops the lights)
Ash: it really is like a lighthouse
Goh: amazing. Your tail is so bright it really lights up everything
Sophocles: Ampharos, back to the space center!
(Ampharos looks ready for this but it ends up stumbling again)
(Back at the space Center we see the men fixing the machinery)
Sophocles: Ellery. (He looks at them) won't you please give us another chance?
Ellery: you really wanna try again? Yes, of course. The console's completely fixed
(The people fixing it give him encouragement too)
Sophocles: quick Ampharos!
(They rush to their positions)
Ash/Goh: go get em!
(The red beam is shit back up hitting talonflame2 as it floats and avoids an incomng meteor)
Man: emergency alert! Talonflame2 is off it's projected course!
Ellery: what happened?
Man: it moved to avoid a meteor but that sudden change left no time for course direction
Ash: what is he talking about?
Ellery: talonflame2 is now off course. If something isn't done soon it'll never return.
(Sophocles get out a little Pikachu gadget as it turns out to be a holographic computer)
Ash: what's going on?
Sophocles: (smiles as he's figured out a plan after doing something on his holographic computer thing) we can do this. Ellery!
Ellery: hm?
Sophocles: I've got an idea
Ellery: what is it?
Sophocles: right now the light from crave observatory can reach it. From there, we alter the course little by little whilst switching between annius and carnahay. Then, when it's in the air space abive Mossdeep space Center we send the re-entry signal bringing it back to base
Ellery: hm your calculations do look sound, let's try it out.
Sophocles: great!
Ellery: standby to contact all observatories
Team: Roger!
Man: Crane is preparing to send its signal!
Woman: Annius and Cornahay report all their preparations are almost complete.
(Ash and Goh look at each other as do Sophocles and Ampharos)
Ellery: here we go! Success is our goal!
Team: yes sir!
(They do the plan and shoot out beam from the other observatories and talonflame2 is back on track)
Man: re-entry initiated!
Woman: T-minus 1 minute until it enters Mossdeep air space
Ellery: now Sophocles, amoharos!
Sophocles: yes sir! Ready Ampharos? Send a beam if hope all the way into soace! Alright light your light!
(Ampharos is ready as it begins using its lights to shoot out a signal)
Man: 3...2... and 1.
Ellery: send it now!
Man: right sending now
(They shoot the signal)
Man: signal not received
Ellery: what?!
Goh: why not?
Ellery: are the clouds too thick to get through?
Sophocles: Ampharos more power!
(Ampharos puts more power into it as the light shines brighter)
Ash: Pikachu let's help alright. Use thunderbolt!
(Pikachu uses thunderbolt hitting Ampharos and giving it more energy and electrical power)
Sophocles: togedemaru zing zap let's go!
Goh: raichu let's do this! Use nuzzle!
(Togedemaru uses zing sap as raichu comes out and helps with nuzzle giving more power to Ampharos)
Ash/Sophocles/Goh: go for it!
(They put more power as the tiny little beacon of light thing turns into something that looks like a 10x Kamehameha wave bursting through the clouds and reaching talonflame2)
Man: talonflame2 has received the signal!
Woman: beginning re-entry!
(They all look happy as they all watch talonflame2 go into Earth's atmosphere and start heating up as everyone outside, people watching on a tv, all see talonflame2 as the man and Ellery look at each other and nod their heads)
(We see a girl hugging her Ampharos, people shaking hands everything as every observatory celebrates of the successful mission as the ignited talonflame2's fire takes the shape of a talonflame and then a moltres before cooling down and landing safely as the crew are cheering as Ellery is crying tears of joy)
Ash: Sophocles, you rock!
Goh: this was one historic achievement
Sophocles: I guess maybe.
Ash: Ampharos too.
(They look as all the electric type Pokémon are tired and resting)
(We cut to the morning of the next day as Pikachu and Togedemaru and Pikachu are doing that nuzzling thing they always do)
Goh: Sophocles, don't forget I'm rooting for you to become an astronaut
Sophocles: (nods) thanks, and I'll cheer you on as you ready for your goals.
Ash: awesome!
Goh: let's all go for it!
(They make their leave as Sophocles waves goodbye)
Sophocles: see ya later!
((With (Y/N) as he and raikou wake up)
(Y/N): that was some nice rest. (Raikou agrees as (Y/N) realises something) hey I don't remember you having those different moves back when we fought, wait... have you been training too?
(Raikou nods before it gets up as does (Y/N) and (Y/N pest raikou's head as it nuzzles against his hand before it disappears in a flash of lightning once again)
(Y/N): you always know how to make a flashy exit I'll give you that much (laughs) well I better get home
(He starts making his way until his rotom phone pings as he checks it and sees it's his next Ultra class battle as he sees his next opponent is a weird looking guy and he's ranked 20th)
