"guys i am home, finally. thank you for watching later nuggies!" i smile tiredly into the camera as i lock my car rolling my suitcase to the front door.
i put in the pin to the front door as i drag my suitcase behind me. tired from travel, annoyed at the itching of the cast on my wrist and pissed off at my best friend, Jackson ignoring my texts. i flop onto a love sack, hearing everyone in the kitchen.
"i'm homeeeee!" i yell hoping someone hears me. i hear a squeal before someone comes running in and tackles me into a hug. i recognise tabithas scent, smiling.
"hey tab" i say squishing her face as i see the others come through, thomas holds his famous camera in his hand "okay guys, suprise suprise! Annabel is home" he said zooming in on me and tabitha.
i laugh going to hug everyone. "hey wait where's vin?" i frown. "he's asleep, go scare him!" mia says. i nod running off to his room at the back of the house. i type in his pin bursting open the door. "VINNIEEEE" i yell jumping on his bed.
he groans sitting up "mia fuck off- OMG YOUR HOME" he says realising it's me, tackling me into a hug. "oh shit what happened to your wrist" he says being careful with me after realising the cast. i shrug laughing "i ugh well chase pushed me not realising i was at the top of stairs and yeah"
he rubs his forehead processing what i'd just said "jesus that guys gotta get it under control" he says giving me a side hug.
i nod standing up making my way to the door "yeah it's fine, i'm out here. he's over there. imma go unpack some P.O. boxes thomas says there's a lot" i laugh as he nods heading to his PC.
I head to my room 2 doors down from vinnies, taking a couple steps back i push open michaels old room seeing someone's room set up, i nit my eyebrows together in confusion. we're getting a new member ? when i left this room was empty!
i shrug realising i probably shouldn't be in there room, heading into my room i see atleast 20 boxes and packages on the floor, along with my suitcase. definitely jake who brung that, he's a sweetheart.
once i'm done opening all the packages i pack away new clothes, grabbing the pile i was gonna give to tab. i chuck the new squish-mallow i'd gotten sent onto my bed, joining the millions of other squish mallows. i run down the hall to tabs room knocking as i here a "come in" i open the door smiling as i hold out the pile.
she grins running over and grabbing it, "thanksss! oh and new members have set up there rooms, you'll meet them tomorrow. they moved in like a couple weeks ago" i nod saying goodnight to her seeing it was already 11:55. 5 minutes till i was 18! ahhh.
i try facetiming jackson since he'd promised to call for the call down, i rang out so i walked down the hall to the kitchen to get some water, i turn the corner seeing everyone. a cake lit with candles on the counter.
"cmon it's 15 seconds till midnight" jake bounces up and down. i wonder over reading the cake 'happy 18th kiddo' along with a red car, i grin up at everyone as they begin counting.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" they all cheer, i stare at the cake, the candles lighting up the room as everyone watched. they all knew growing up i hated my birthday, especially my 16th. i say my wish in my head before blowing out the 18 candles.
i smile "you guys didn't have to do all this, i could've just counted down in my room" i shrug. i hear a bunch of scoffs from everyone. "absolutely not, cmon it's present time" thomas says placing a birthday crown on my head.
he'd used it every year since hype house begun.
we all walk into the dining room where the tables covered in a bunch of gifts, i take a seat at the top as everyone sits at the others. for the next 15 minutes the room was filled with gasps, laughs and cheers. by the time i'd gotten to the last gift, the floor was covered in wrapping paper, i'd kept the bags placing all the gifts in them.
the last gift was a card. i ripped it open seeing a picture of me and jackson from our first ever ft, i'd never met him, we'd ft every night and day, dueting each other's videos, it was odd we'd never met before. i'd met jacob and he lived with jackson along with the breezy boys.
inside it read.
'happy birthday darling, i'd call u kiddo but your 18. an adult! i'm sorry i've been ignoring your calls, me and the boys are packing up for moving day, i promise i'll call ASAP. your gift should arrive in the morning. i love you- J❤️'
i smile down at the card, glancing at our matching bracelets he'd sent me, him keeping the other of course. "we'll we should get to bed, busy day tomorrow" Thomas said yawning. "yeah, um thank you guys, seriously" i say grabbing some of the bags i'd put my gifts in, everyone says a no problem or nods as we all head to our rooms. vinnie grabs the other bags since his room was close to mine.
he drops them on my desk, "god your 18 i can't believe it, i remember when you were 15 and had your dark brown hair" he laughs as i grab some pyjama trousers and a crew neck from my closet. i laugh shaking my head "2019 what a year, goodnight vin" i say as he heads out. "night Anna" he says closing my door behind him.
i change into my pjs climbing into bed, i scroll through snap and insta reposting some happy birthdays from my close friends. i click onto iMessage seeing texts from cooper, nessa, mom, rudy, dad and Jacob.

i yawn being woken up to a pot falling in the kitchen, plus my phone ringing. i click answer putting it on speaker. "hello?" i yawn, "hey your up! door dash should be arriving in 5" i hear cooper say.
"ooo yay! thank you again!" i say picking up my phone heading out to the front door, to walk down to the gates. i say my goodbyes to cooper shoving my phone into my pyjama trousers pocket. i hear almost everyone up already dressed and making tiktok's, i grab my keys to my Toyota off the key holder rubbing my eyes."hey birthday girl! where ya going" i hear Jake yell as i open the door. "cooper door dashed me pancakes, i'll be back in 5" i said before closing the door. i head over to my car climbing in driving down to the gates, as i'm sitting waiting i get a FaceTime from Mia.
i swipe answer plotting my phone up on the phone holder. "sup Mia" i say as she appears on my screen, "your cars so loud dude"!she says stuffing her face with a bagel. i laugh with a smirk "ahh cherry is loud" she shakes her head in a disappointed way, "you name your cars, oh my god. anyways your blind cause our new members were in the living room and kitchen when you were leaving" she says smiling.
i scrunch my face up, "oh ! omg i feel bad for like basically ignoring them, god there gonna think i'm mean or something! one sec my pancakes are here" i say climbing out my car, "thanks!" i smile at the delivery guy before jogging back to my car.
"okay i'm on my way up, jesus cooper ordered tons of pancakes" i laugh glancing at the receipt stapled to the bag. "okay see ya in a sec" she says waving before hanging up. i press down on the gas zooming up the hill, parking my car in its usual spot. i grab my phone, keys and bag before heading in, locking my car behind me.
"hey guys coop ordered way to much for me so-" i say closing the door, i stop my sentence half way as i land my eyes on the breezy house members. "oh omg hi! i'm sorry i'm Annabel! nice to meet you all" i smile.
they all introduce themselves, Thomas points the camera in my face. which is his language for 'your the next part of the vlog' "okay so here we have this shortass, i mean Annabel. today she gets a surprise! it's also her 18th!" he says holding up a bandana.
i grab the bandana passing the door dash bag to tab as Thomas pushes me to sit on the love sack. "bandana covers your eyes and i'll tell you when you can take it off" he explains before disappearing off somewhere. "Jacob help me" i say holding up the bandana, he nods grabbing it, helping me wrap it round my eyes.
i hear Thomas coming back as i crack my knuckles out of anxiousness, hands grab mine "stop that" i hear Jacob say before his hands left go of mine. i feel the love sack sink next to me, "Thomas istg if a bear is next to me or some shit-" i say, he cuts me off as everyone laughs "it's not a bear" he says.
i feel someone kiss my cheek, i jump from the sudden touch, squealing slightly. "can i take this off now, that scared me but whosever lips those were, we're soft. better have been tabs!" i say looking around like i could see shit.
"wasn't me sorry princess" i hear Tabitha say in a manly voice at the end. "okay take it off" Thomas tells me, i slowly pull it off, turning my head to my right. i see Jackson sitting there with red cheeks. i gasp tackling him in a hug. "you bitch" i say into his shoulder, suddenly i cant stop myself letting out a sob crying into his shoulder.
"kiddo don't cry" he laughs rubbing my back, "i'm sorry, it's just- i mean your here!" i laugh as i let out another cry. he sits up pulling me onto his lap as i refuse to let go. "thomas you made her cry on her birthday!" paige yells dramatically.
"those are happy tears bitch!" he yells back. i pull back, fully looking at jackson as he wipes my tears. i smile squishing his face "your the new mystery member?" i question, he nods. we smile hugging again. "hey daughter this is cute, but your pancakes are looking a bit to yummy" mia says, i gasp running into the kitchen. "PANCAKES FOR EVERYONE" i yell.
everyone grabs a plate piling pancakes and topping on them, i sneak off to my room, laying sprawled out on my bed.
