Vegas's P.O.V:
I blinked twice.
"What?" I asked frowning.
Pete sighed heavily and put his hands on my shoulders.
"Vegas...Forget your revenge and come with me...It'll be better if you..." He started.
I removed his hands off my shoulders.
"I'll pretend that this conversation never happened" I said.
"What?" He asked.
"Come eat" I said.
"Vegas" Pete said.
"What? Do you know what you're saying? Forget my revenge? I'll never do that" I said angrily.
"But I just wanted..." He started.
"Pete...If you want to leave...Go ahead...I won't force you to stay if you don't want to" I said.
"I want you to come with me" He said.
"As what? The wanted serial killer? I'll be hanged the second I reveal my face again...Did you really think it'll be that easy?" I asked.
"My grandmother will understand...I'm sure she'll if we explain it to her" Pete said.
I chuckled in disbelief.
"Why do you want to leave? I thought you said you were happy...Or were you lying?" I asked.
"What? No I wasn't" He said.
I sighed heavily and nodded.
"I'm not going to leave...If you want to leave then go ahead...I won't blame you...You deserve better maybe take Praew with..." I started.
"Why are you bringing her up now?" He asked.
"What? Don't you think she'd make a better partner for you? She's a girl...Your girlfriend...You can marry her and..." I started.
But he slapped me.
"I don't know what to say to you anymore" He said.
Then walked past me.
I started crying.
Kinn's P.O.V:
I went to the police station with Tankul to confirm it for ourselves.
"His car strayed and fell off the bridge...He rolled down a hill and died of blood loss caused by severe injuries we're really sorry for your loss" The officer at the autopsy room said.
I removed the white sheet covering the body and started crying when I saw Kim's face.
Tankul hugged him and started crying.
"Kim...No...KIM WAKE UP...STOP PLAYING AROUND THIS ISN'T FUNNY...You prick...You can't do that" Tankul said sobbing hysterically as he hugged Kim's body close to him.
Then he turned to me.
"This has to be a nightmare right? Kinn...Say something" Tankul said.
I looked at the floor trying to stop my own tears.
Tankul stood up and grabbed my shoulders.
"Why aren't you talking?" He asked.
"That's enough Tankul...Kim is dead...He's never coming back" I said in tears.
"But...He's our youngest brother...He wasn't supposed to die before us...HE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO DIE LIKE THAT" Tankul sobbed.
Then hugged me tightly.
"Why did this happen Kinn? Why did it have to be Kim?" He asked.
I hugged him and started patting his back as he cried on my shoulder.
He continued murmuring Kim's name until he fell unconscious in my arms.
I helped him sit down and covered Kim's face with the white cloth.
"We're his older brothers...I'd like to ask for permission to cremate him" I said.
Then gave the officer my card.
After the funeral Kim's phone was given to me and I started looking through it after accessing the password.
But what I saw in there made me angrier then I was before.
Kim knew everything about our uncle's loan.
It wasn't an accident...He was killed.
Porsche and Porchay went to Chumpon.
It's better this way.
At least no one would find them there.
For now I must find Kim's killer.
(Later that night)
Vegas's P.O.V:
I slumped down on my bed and took out the phone I recently bought.
I contemplated my decision then nodded to myself before opening the line chat.
The door opened so I quickly hid the phone.
"I'm here to talk about the fourth person...If you don't want to come with me then I have no choice but to stay...I'll help you...The fourth person...I'll kill him...Just tell me what to do" He said.
I raised an eyebrow.
He looked so determined but it didn't sit well with me.
This wasn't supposed to happen...He wasn't supposed to be here...
I paced the room back and forth trying to find out who would have done the fourth murder.
"Maybe it's one of the revolutionaries" Pete said.
I shook my head.
"All of those people are idiots...They can't even hurt a fly they're just going with the flow" I said.
Pete stood up.
"There's someone who targeted me at college" He said.
I stopped walking.
"Did you see that person's face?" I asked.
Pete shook his head.
"Did they leave a message or try to attack you?" I asked.
He shook his head.
"There was a message though...A threat because I reported you" He said.
I sighed heavily and rubbed my temples trying to think of something to do.
"We should look for a way to contact the police" I said.
"Huh?" Pete asked frowning.
"No...You should find a way to contact the police" I continued.
"Are you crazy? What good would calling them do?" He asked.
"The detective responsible for my case...What's his name? That's the one we should contact" I said.
Pete rolled his eyes.
"I really don't get it...What are you planning?" He asked.
"A scapegoat Pete...I'm going to use that detective" I said.
Then took a deep breath and nodded to myself.
"I bought a phone I'll call him as fast as possible" I said.
Pete sighed heavily and nodded.
"I still don't get it but it's better then having no plans" He said.
I nodded.
Then his eyes widened.
"You're not thinking about turning yourself in are you? I won't let you" He said.
I chuckled and shook my head.
"I won't turn myself in silly" I said.
He sighed heavily and nodded.
"I'm going to stay until you agree to come with me so you'd better not keep me waiting" He said.
(The next day)
Pete's P.O.V:
I sat down to eat in front of Vegas neither of us saying anything.
He wasn't even looking at me.
I was heartbroken and annoyed at the same time.
"Why?" I asked.
Vegas stopped eating but didn't look up at me.
"I told you why...I can't forget that easily if I could I'd have done it long ago" He said.
Then went back to eating.
"I know how to get you out of this you just have to trust me one last time ok?" He asked.
I frowned in confusion.
Then stood up when I heard the police sirens coming closer to our apartment complex.
I looked out of the window and saw that they were coming even closer.
I went to my room hurriedly and grabbed my stuff but when I came back I saw Vegas standing near the window.
"Vegas we should hurry up" I said.
He nodded and turned to me.
Then grabbed my hands and twisted them behind my back and handcuffed them together.
"Vegas what the fuck are you doing?" I asked angrily.
The door opened and the police ran into the apartment.
Vegas took out a knife and raised it to my throat.
"If you come any closer I'll kill him" Vegas said as he kept the knife on my neck.
My eyes widened in shock when I finally understood his plan.
He was turning himself in and making me a kidnap victim...
I thrashed in his grip wildly and started crying.
An officer fired a bullet at him which he managed to dodge but he immediately let go of me causing me to fall to the floor.
Two more officers raised their guns at him.
"Drop the knife and raise your arms up" One of them said.
Then they walked over to him to handcuff him but Vegas shot at their hands causing them to drop their guns and ran out of the door.
The officers asked if I was ok.
I nodded and they helped me to my feet.
"I'm fine" I said.
But I wasn't...
