"This bitch really censored it like I don't know who he's talking about," an additional sigh escaped Jungwon's lips.
Now that he was thinking about it, he hadn't heard from Sunghoon in a long while, a week perhaps. The boy didn't expect them to be exceptionally close—like two peas in a pod—after exchanging socials, although, it hurt just the littlest from the inside realizing that they both didn't undertake the effort to remain in contact with each other.
Jungwon had wanted to say something, send a message at least, but the fear of becoming too attached dominated those impulsive beliefs. He wasn't one that would easily rely on other people to feel safe and happy.
At least, not anymore.
Nonetheless, whenever he did become close with someone, there was no going back. He felt like he was trapped as letting go would suddenly turn out to be one of the most difficult things to accomplish.
Adding to those reasons for wanting to distance himself from Sunghoon, the boy doesn't dare to admit to himself that he actually missed their weird and formal way of conversation-making. Still, he wasn't able to deny that he was in fact intrigued by knowing more about them.
"No wait, I can't feel like this... what about Sunoo?" Jungwon asked himself, suddenly thinking about his best friend.
He didn't want to think about it. It never even crossed his mind that they both could possibly like the same person.
Considering Sunoo's past experiences, the boy knew that it would only be a matter of time before he had found a new person to gush about since his crushes would never last long.
But even if Jungwon knew what type of person his friend was, he couldn't say with certainty what the other felt. What if this time Sunoo wouldn't move on? Then, Jungwon couldn't risk stealing his crush like that, especially since he himself had only spoken to Sunghoon once.
"What am I talking about? I don't like Sunghoon."
Another phrase to conceal the way he truly felt. He tried to convince himself, make himself think that what he was going through wasn't really true, that it was all in his head. After all, having one conversation and adding each other on Snapchat couldn't determine whether Jungwon liked him or not, or maybe that's just what he wanted to believe.
He needed to talk about this with someone, just to put his thoughts out there. But who could he possibly talk to when it's the very people he is acquainted with, who he wants to talk about?
Just when he was about to put his thoughts aside, a new notification from his phone startled him.

The corners of Jungwon's mouth curled up, the reason behind it something he didn't want to believe.
Why was it that he turned into a grinning idiot whenever he saw that one person typing? It wouldn't matter what the younger would send. The message could be a childish thought, a weird suggestion, or another famous pickup line, that same smile would always seem to make its way onto his face.
But just as quickly as that smile had formed, just as quickly had it disappeared when he actually read what the younger had typed.
