Third Person's POV
It's been a week since Takemichi lived with her grandmother. He tried to get along finely With however Takemichi would still act cautious towards the older lady.
Takemichi also didn't leave the house like as if the idea of going out in the unfamiliar neighborhood scares him. Tanuki of course didn't force the kid and want Takemichi to open up on his own.
Takemichi does open up to her but there are still things that Takemichi just hide from her.
What breaks her heart even more is that Takemichi live in a life where he was always told what to do as if his nothing but an empty shell.
A mere puppet. He won't eat unless was ordered too. Despite his stomach growling unless the old lady haven't spoke of him to be allowed to eat. He won't eat he will just sit and wait for orders.
Tanuki wonders. Just how much miserable Takemichi life is how much pain had that young boy endured the moment he came out to this world?
Whenever Takemichi would clean the house she was glad. But what she felt where her whole world shattered was when she accidentally knocked off her glass of water.
The shards of glads of course smash to the ground. She sighed and was about to clean it of when Takemichi suggest that he should clean it.
Of course she was fine with that so she nodded. She then went and grab the dust pan and the vroom however upon coming back.
He felt her heart stop. Takemichi was picking up all the shattered pieces of glass barehand. His hands have obvious cuts of course.
"Takemichi what are you doing?!" The old lady scream in horror.
Takemichi flinch and dropped everything in his foot. The big shard of glass penetrating the skin of his feet making it bleed.
However Takemichi just look up to his grandmother afraid. Takemichi suddenly knelt down in the shards of the broken glass.
The old lady of course rush over to the boy to make the boy not get hurt anymore.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be slow" Takemichi apologize over and over.
Tanuki eyes was brimming with tears. Why just why does this child deserve the cruelty of this world. Takemichi wasn't crying which most kids do.
As if Takemichi was always used to this. Takemichi looks afraid. Takemichi felt not good of course.
Staying in the house of his grandmother makes him glad Because his grandmother was kind. But he was still scared. What if she got mad at him.
What if she also threw him away. Takemichi can't help but to think that if he did something wrong he'll get abandoned again.
He doesn't want that. Even though he knew himself that his useless. That his nothing but a garbage. Something the shouldn't exist.
But Takemichi felt a warmth embracing him. He felt his grandmother head in his small shoulder. He felt something wet trickle down there in his clothes.
'Was she crying?' he ask himself.
"Ahhh I'm so---" before Takemichi could apologize.
"I'm sorry Michi it was all my fault. If I could've just raise my son better then you wouldn't be born in this cruel world" He heard his grandmother sobs.
"Your strong and you kept trying your best but you have a life your own"
"Sometimes it's fine to think about yourself you know. It's fine to cry get angry it doesn't make you weak or someone who's annoying"
"Because even if we flip the world upside down in this time your still a kid. You deserve to grow up. To be happy"
"It's fine to ask something I would give you everything if I can. As long as your happy"
"Takemichi I'm sorry that I couldn't pick you up sooner. Where you suffering so much that you forget that it's okay to feel pain. Where you suffering so much to the point that you're told what to do in your life"
"I'm sorry if I could've just come sooner. If I could've just take you sooner"
"My child I'm sorry" Tanuki spoke her voice croaking with every sentence.
Even the children in the orphanage don't act like this. Takemichi looks as if he had already given up on his life. Just for the sake of others to be happy he'll do anything.
Even if he did nothing wrong he'll apologize over and over again. No matter small or big the problem is he always apologize and make it seems to be all his fault.
Takemichi still wonders what the feeling that is stirring inside him. But he felt safe he embrace the warmth if his grandmother. Though he protests that he should still clean the broken glass.
His grandmother however told him to sleep early.

It was like that Takemichi is slowly learning to open up. Slowly but surely. What she was glad at is that Takemichi seems to be comfortable at talking to Shinichiro.
Though Takemichi grandmother think of it as sometimes a bad idea due to how to act Shinichiro is she was beyond glad that her grandson got company other than her.
Who also Tells the child wise words. She was glad that Shinichiro is mature despite being only 12.
"Oiii Michi Give me back that scone I want it!!!" Someone screams
Or not.
"But you already finish yours!!" Tanuki could hear her grandson argues back.
"Hah.... This children" Tanuki facepalm.
She was glad that Takemichi energy is growing and growing. Thanks to Shin who's always hyper. Takemichi really get worked up around him.
"Now that you mention it Shin aren't you gonna get tested soon if your an alpha, omega, or beta?" Tanuki asks.
"Ohhh yeah it's next week why are you asking oba chan?" Shinichiro politely asks.
"Hmmm nothing it's just I got feeling that your an alpha?" Tanuki said.
"Hahahaha I'll probably be a beta or probably omega even I'm so weak to become an alpha yah know?" Shinichiro said sweat dropping.
"What's the difference between an alpha, omega or beta?" Takemichi silently chines in.
"Hmmm ohhh. They are like second genders Michi" Shinichiro explains.
"Alpha is like the strongest out of the three. They have strong scent like umm heavy cologne or something. Most alphas tend to take care of Omegas who they well ummmm..... Well nevermind that let's get into the betas "
"The betas are just normal people. Unlike alphas they have almost no scent at all. They also can't pick up what the scent of either alphas or omegas"
"And the last one is Omegas. They are consider to be very weak. Unlike the population of alpha who is a lot most omegas tend to hide the fact that they are omega. So there are only few. Omegas are kind and warm hearted"
"They would follow alphas orders because of how weak they are. There pheromones.... I mean scent smells soft like them too. There are rare omegas who fought back to there alphas you know"
"Not to mention to make an alpha a omega is always needed" Shinichiro explains.
"Well then what are you Shin?" Takemichi asks.
"Hmmm I still don't know but next week is the time I get tested if im an alpha, omega, or just a beta. Because that is the time where the symptoms of second gender reveals. At the very end of December when your 12 years old" Shinichiro smiled.
"Ohhh does that mean your an alpha?" Takemichi asks.
"Huh not you too?" Shinichiro sighs.
"Hahaha you gotta accept that fact Shin" Tanuki smiles.
"Come on Oba chan that's impossible I'll probably be a beta no questions" Shinichiro just said.
"But Shinichiro nee chan is strong, kind too, and he always protects me so you must be an alpha a good alpha" Takemichi giddily smiles.
Shinichiro felt his heartbeat fast. He looks away from the boy who is sitting criss cross in front of him.
"Emmm well thanks Michi" Shin just spoke.
Takemichi is confuse why Shin look away. Takemichi notice Shin ears red along with his face.
"GRANDMA I THINK SHIN NEE IS SICK HE LOOKS LIKE HIS ABOUT TO EXPLODE!" Takemichi screams worriedly.
"Wait no im not!!!" Shin said back face getting redder.
"Ahh shin don't die!!!" Takemichi bawls his eyes out.
"Wait no!!" Shinichiro screams trying to calm the boy down.
Tanuki just giggles at the site. She smiled.
Well despite Shin being 6 years older than Michi. It wouldn't hurt to ship them right?
