Arnav is really uncomfortable he wants to leave he agreed he likes her but remembering what happened last time when he went to a girls place just to help her in studies when teacher asked him he gets shudder he knows Khushi is not like that but he still feels uncomfortable they are not that much good friends yet ......
"Sit." The silence was broken by her soft word which sounded exceptionally loud in the vacant house. He was snapped out of his thoughts and slanted his head to meet her eyes unintentionally.
Looking at his expressions khushi asked getting confused... ,"Why are you squirming in your seat are you okay is there any problem..???"
No...,it's okay!! Arnav was about to leave but looking at her expectant face ...," Coffee is fine."
Okay saying this Khushi left
Arnav was left alone in the empty room with his other companion: silence.
Swallowing hard, his dry throat itched at the abrupt contact of his own saliva. Gaze sweeping across the room again, his ear picked up the indistinctive sound of his own breathing
As the silence was getting uncomfortable Arnav decided to start a conversation he knows she wouldn't start it she is worse than him in this he has seen her how she never tries to make conversation with anyone she doesn't even like to make friends
This was his first time at a her house and he was already making a big fool out of himself.
Cursing silently in his mind and occasionally under his breathe at his own stupidity and obliviousness, he could only wait for her to comeback.
"you leave with your grandparents???", Arnav asked trying to start a conversation then thought damm it's hard he never did that before than thought what kind of stupid question is this obviously she lives with them idiot Raizada
Khushi -Yes...!!!!
Arnav- where are your parents???
Khushi- Dead!!!
"My mother's dead." She announced, her soft voice resonating in the house almost hauntingly.
Emerald eyes flickered wide open, momentarily filled with surprise as the words registered in his mind. "I'm sorry. I didn't know." Arnav mumbled an apology, feeling ashamed for reminding her of the painful memories that she'd rather forget.
He wasn't great with words. In fact, he was never the comforting people type.
Gnawing at the corner of his mouth, he took a quick peak at her
Khushi- why are you sorry it's not like you killed them.... saying this she laughed which made Arnav shocked seeing her behaviour
Khushi- don't look at me like that I am fine I was joking.. Just leave it. Its usual thing and I have my grandparents saying this Khushi gave him a small smile wanting to end the topic she didn't like sympathy and she can see it in his eyes she remembers how he was talking about his family with dadi.... here is your coffee and cookies
Hearing her Arnav felt bad for her. He doesn't even want to know how it feel knowing how much he loves his parents especially his mother it's not like he loves his father any less but his whole world revolves around his family his Dad ,maa and his Dii.
It's just them they all are protective of each other his father always taught him... family comes first
Not having maa and Dad Arnav got emotional for a moment he remembers how much scared he was when years ago his mother health was so bad after that harrasment incident she used to cry a lot which made her health detoriate she was hospitalized too he gets Shiver thinking about those days.
When Arnav was having his coffee he see Khushi staring at him expectedly and for what he had no idea.

Nothing!!!! Khushi says smiling sheepishly she loves baking she bakes these cookies last night she thought he will like it. Just want some reviews

When Arnav didn't say anything after eating half of the cookies Khushi herself decided to ask him ...

Yeah that's why you completed half plate. Khushi says looking irritated she knows he again in his teasing mode damm this guy always push her buttons

By the way from where did you bought them they are bad", Arnav said all this biting his inner cheek trying hard to control his laugh looking at Khushi's annoyed face than realised damm he loves her irritated face she easily gets irritated it's fun
