Jungkook closed the door of his room with a loud thud, anger and adrenaline still filling in his veins.
He is super angry, not with that servant- but with himself and with the situation. He hates how everyone is dead scared even while seeing his shadow. Even his mother tries not to show but is very scared of him too. The way her body shivered when Jungkook tried going near her clenched the Trueblood's heart.
The devil loves this a lot- but Jungkook doesn't. He loathes this whole situation- he hates how everyone is so scared of him even when he isn't the one who is causing the whole havoc.
Jungkook just wishes- begs- the Moon Goddess to remove this curse from him. To give him the life he deserves but maybe she doesn't like him either as this curse is there inside him. For 24 years Jungkook is living with a devil inside him and the saddest part is he can't even do anything.
Having a high sense of hearing he can hear his mother's anguishing pleas every night to make him a normal werewolf - she has to hear all the taunts thrown at her from people, and she has to hear talks against her son from the maids and helpers. And except for asking them to shut she doesn't have any other counter-backs.
His father struggled to answer the ministers who always bombard him with questions regarding the crown prince and how he will get rid of the curse in him. They say if the King couldn't undo his son's curse then he should give the throne to someone else as nobody would agree to have an heir with a cursed soul and if it happens then it will be the end of Jeon's reign. His father might have to give his throne to someone who isn't his son. And he also doesn't have anything to promise except just saying he will find the solution.
Hearing and Seeing all this gives Jungkook only one idea. That is to try to kill himself. If he kills himself then the devil will die too and all this chaos, sadness, destruction and negativity will stop and all would be able to live in peace. He has tried to do so though and has tried to harm himself in any potential way but maybe even God of death hates him as that death never comes.
The devil can heal him within no time, and the worst part comes is that if the devil gets angry, heals Jungkook or gets a chance to do any wrong acts then it gets more powerful and the human inside Jungkook dies more.
So he has to keep himself calm but nowadays the devil can gain dominance often and hurt others. The devil inside him is winning over the human and it will be soon-maybe sooner than his 25th birthday- when the devil will take over his body and would rule the world.
And that is the scenario which Jungkook dreads to even think about.
"Ahhhh, just go from my body. Just go from here. LEAVE EVERYONE ALONE!!!" Jungkook growled loudly in frustration and thrashed all the items in his room here and there. The glasses shattered, picking up the pieces he cut his arms- waited for the blood to ooze out and kill him but as expected they got healed soon. And again death wasn't granted to him.
"Don't try to kill yourself, Trueblood. You know I won't die ever. And by doing all this you are just killing your human side more" the devil took over his body and responded. There are two souls in Jungkook's body, as we all know, and both can take over his mind, body and senses.
Anybody seeing him would say he has multiple personality disorder but in reality, there are two souls inside him which behave as if they are in two different bodies too.
The devil smirked, his eyes shining with a wicked and evil glint. The black eyes got changed into red ones and this made Jungkook weak and fall to his knees.
"He is right... I can't let my human die too early. I have to- I have to calm myself down. I have to-" Jungkook rambled to himself and tugged on his hair.
He has to gain back his composure otherwise he is giving the devil chance to take over his body soon. The Trueblood stood on his wobbly feet and went near the window.
He closed his eyes and soon the Trueblood wolf was separated from his body. This is something incredible that Jungkook discovered during his 14th birthday. His wolf can be separated from his body yet they are connected as Jungkook can see, hear, feel and sense everything through his wolf. In a way, the wolf is like a dummy body controlled by Jungkook.
And because of the spell cast near the castle he- means the devil can't go out. When Jungkook was 9 he sneaked out in anger after his mother asked him to lock himself in his room because he scared the servants. He thought maybe this will make him feel good but instead, chaos was made by the people seeing the cursed wolf, this news reached his parents and in fury, they made the strongest witch cast a spell so that he won't be able to go out.
Jungkook with the devil's soul can't go out but his wolf can. So whenever he wants he can sneak out and enjoy nature which makes him feel serene and peaceful.
This is the only way through which he can give power to his positive side. The big black wolf with shining fur wolf and red eyes jumped out of the window and started running in whatever direction it wants.
In this way, Jungkook finds out about a lot of new places not only in the kingdom but outside of it too. Though when he runs into the forest many people are there who get scared seeing a Trueblood near them but that is something which Jungkook cares less about and ignores.
All his focus is to enjoy his run which he is doing. A small smile formed on his face but that smile states to falter and a frown rested between his eyebrows when he started getting odd but nice vibes coming from somewhere.
The wolf increased its speed and went in that particular direction which was sending those attractive and luring vibes. It was making him insane yet Jungkook was gaining his sanity as the aura strengthened.
He gritted his teeth and after running at its full potential he reached near a bush. He knew that whatever that thing was is besides that bush so he jumped as high as he could and after landing on his feet he went near to the boy who was crouching near the lake.
He got startled because of a new presence and when he turned his head to look at the wolf, he was speechless at the heavenly beauty.
"Oh, you startled me!" The boy with blue hair gasped putting his hand over his chest. He then cackled a little and walk near the wolf.
Jungkook's breath hitched when the omega's scent invaded his senses, he felt nice when that bright aura surrounded him. He just felt surprised yet so good when that omega didn't get frightened of him. At least someone isn't scared of him.
Taehyung was crouching in front of the wolf with a smile whereas that wolf was standing there dumbfounded and stunned.
"Hi~ You are so big, wolfie" Taehyung was amazed seeing the size of the wolf. But what else did he expect from a Trueblood?
When the wolf didn't reply, Taehyung pouted and titled his head. "Are you a normal wolf? You don't have a human form? Can't you... Speak?" He asked question after question. Taehyung nibbled on his lower lip when the wolf didn't reply again. He looked around and with his hand gestured to the wolf to bring his ear closer to his mouth. "You know I can talk to animals so if you want we can have a conversation. But don't tell this to anyone, ok?" he mumbled and putting his finger on his lips he made a shushing sound.
Jungkook got a big smile on his face and he may or may not have chuckled for the first time in his life- while scrunching his nose- hearing the prettiest boy's blabbering.
"Ok" Jungkook replied finally. Taehyung could hear the reply and it made him smile his boxy smile brightly. Jungkook's heart melted seeing someone for the first time smiling so beautifully in his presence. This is new... This is good and promising.
"You finally said something! I thought you can't speak and your voice is so nice. Your fur is pretty too. I bet it is soft and silky" Taehyung raised his hand to touch the wolf but Jungkook in panic made his wolf take steps back so that Taehyung won't get harmed or burn. He doesn't want to terrify the only person who isn't scared of him.
Taehyung's hand hung in the air. He said an "Oh" and retreated his hand. "You don't like anyone touching you?" He asked making sure he doesn't do something that the wolfie might not like.
The wolf nodded his head. Taehyung smiled and put his hand again back on his knees. "It's ok, I respect your dislikes. I won't touch you but we can talk right?"
"Yes. We can" he heard the wolf reply. Taehyung got a satisfied grin.
"That's great! My name is Kim Taehyung and I am 24 years old. You?"
"Jungkook. 24 too" Jungkook replied after a little hesitation, He just prays that Taehyung hasn't heard about him.
Those enchanting and alluring blue eyes- deeper than the ocean, vast than the sky, more peaceful than waves- lit up with happiness and something which seems like an accomplishment. "That's great!" He clapped his hands.
"I finally found someone of my age. You know everyone in my pack is either younger or elder than me and my only twin sister who is of my age doesn't like me so I don't have any friends of my age. I always wanted to have one so if you don't mind can we be friends? We can meet here every day!" Taehyung suggested and with hopefully round bambi eyes waited for Jungkook's response.
The Trueblood went still at the word of a friend. Friend- he never got the privilege to even be near someone for more than 1 minute and here someone is asking for him to be his friend. "I would love to" Jungkook surely would love to have a friend. He can't believe how normal and kind he is behaving near this omega. His devil hasn't created any ruckus yet, it feels like it never existed in the first place. He felt like an ordinary werewolf in Taehyung's presence and he loved it.
"Yaaayyy... Thank you! We can meet here every day and have a lot of conversations and fun! I won't let mom know because she will be angry that I am befriending someone outside of the pack but hey I have all rights to be someone's friend don't I? Of course, I have. So I can be your friend and that's final" Taehyung loves to ramble and it was clear as day for the Trueblood.
"You know you speak a lot, right?" Jungkook didn't mean to say it loudly but sadly Taehyung can hear everything that animal even thinks in their mind.
He pouted and made circles with his finger on the ground. "Everyone says this... But is it a problem, though? I love to talk" he complained.
Jungkook's eyes widened when he realised he may have hurt his new friend's feelings. "No! It isn't a problem at all. Your voice is so deep and soothing that I would love to hear it day and night and also your chats are too cute to be a problem" he replied.
Taehyung got a blush on his face. He looked down and made cute noises. "Aww, you are so sweet" he giggled and bite his lower lip.
Jungkook smiled and replied. "No, you are sweeter"
"Oh, stob it! You are making me blush!" Taehyung put his hands over his cheeks and felt them warming up. He doesn't know why but praises from Jungkook gave him butterflies. Like everyone gives him compliments but Jungkook's just hit different, you know.
Jungkook just chuckled but didn't say anything further. Taehyung too went silent for a second and then looked up at the sky. "It's getting late now. I should go back home otherwise mom will get worried. You will come here tomorrow, right? I will wait for you" Taehyung looked at the wolf and asked hopefully.
Jungkook knew even if he wants he can't stay away from the omega. He won't be able to. For the first time, someone has made him feel normal and not like a curse so he won't leave any chance to feel this good again. "I will be here," he said in the most promising voice he can muster.
"I will wait. Bye," Taehyung smiled and then waved his hand as he went away.
Jungkook had his soft smile plastered on his face. He opened his eyes and the wolf disappeared from the place. It came back into his body. "I will be there" he promised to himself.
