It was night time in Berk and Hiccup was in his room when he heard weird noises outside of his house so he went to the door in order to go outside but when he opened it, he ended up slamming the door to avoid being burned by a dragon
After he peeked out and making sure the dragon has left, he quickly began to run to the forge avoiding other Vikings and dragons all the way but in one second
He got tackled by a Viking "HAAAAA!" He yelled before changing his voice into a happy one and with a big smile in his face "Morning"
When he started to run again his father Stoick pulled him saving him from a dragon (A Deadly Nadder) in the process "HICCUP! What is he doing outside again? What are you doing out?!" He yelled to his son before throw him to the ground "Get back inside"
Stoick turned around to another Viking and asked "What do we got?"
"Gronkles, Nadders, Zipplebacks oh, and Hoark saw a Monstrous Nightmare" the Viking said, at the same time he ended an explosion happened behind them and a bit of ash and in Stoick's shoulder
"Any Night Furies?" Stoick asked
"None so far" the Viking said
"Good" Stoick said
Meanwhile with Hiccup was able to arrive at the forge "How nice you to join the party I thought ya'd been carried off" Gobber said
"What? Me? Nah, come on" Hiccup said while removing his fur vest and outing on a brown apron "I'm way too muscular for they taste, they wouldn't know what to do with all this" he said flexing his poor muscles
"Well, they need toothpicks, don't they" Gobber joked before Blake entered the room and with all the sarcasm, he could he said "Great way to motivate dad"
It has passed three months since Blake first arrive at berk, in all that time Gobber taught him some of the blacksmith's skills he knows, now he was good at it but not as good as Hiccup of course
Also, he and Hiccup passed from being friends to the best friends, they do everything together, also in all that time Blake wasn't able to remember anything before waking up in that ship but that doesn't bother him, he was happy with his new life in Berk

Back in the battle Stoick was running with some Vikings behind him "Move to the lower defenses we'll counter-attack with the catapults" He ordered "Yes sir" the others said
Hiccup was handing weapons to some Vikings when other teenagers passed by with some buckets with water because they were helping to pull out some fires that the dragons make
This were Fishlegs Ingerman, Snotlout Jorgenson, the twins Tuffnut and Ruffnut Thorson, and Astrid Hofferson the crush of Hiccup, when she launched her bucket, an explosion happened behind them resalting Astrid's beauty to Hiccup who was only able to see her with dreaming eyes on his face
Blake noticed this so he walked where Hiccup was and snapped his fingers in from of him "Hiccup are you there?" Blake asked
"Huh Wha-? Hiccup said waking up from his trance
"Are you dreaming awake or something?" Blake asked raising an eyebrow
"No, I was just thinking" Hiccup justified himself
"About?" Blake asked
Hiccup only was able to sigh before answer his friend question "About their jobs, its cooler than ours" Hiccup said before he and Blake started to walk away leaving the forge but Gobber grabbed Hiccup before that happened
"Oh, come on let me out please" Hiccup begged "I need to make my mark"
"You already leave plenty of marks in the wrong places" Gobber said poking Hiccup's chest
"Please, just give me two minutes I'll kill a dragon and my life will get infinitely better I might even get a date" Hiccup said, Blake only shook his head but no one noticed 'Here we go again' he thought
"You can't lift a hammer, you can't swing an axe" Gobber said counting his fingers "You can't even throw these" Gobber lifted a bolas which a Viking take from his hand and launch it to a random dragon
"Okey fine but me and Blake make something that will throw them for me" Hiccup said walking over his and Blake's new invention a Bola Shooter but it accidentally shot one to a Viking leaving him unconscious
At that point Gobber was starting to get annoyed with Hiccup "See this is exactly what I'm talking about, Hiccup if you want to get out there and fight you have to stop being all...this, that goes for you to Blake"
"But you just pointed all of us" the boys said at the same time
"I don't even know who am I" Blake said confused
"That's the reason I tell you this you have to start to think who are you in Berk you can't just be a random teenager in the village as for you Hiccup you already got the idea" Gobber said
"Oh, okay you are playing a dangerous game keeping all this raw Vikingness contained" Hiccup said trying to sound and look threatening by pointing a finger to Gobber "There will be consequences"
"I'll take my chances" Gobber said taking a sword and giving it to Hiccup "Sword sharper now"
"Here let me help you" Blake said with a gently smile "Thanks" Hiccup said
Back in the battle a Zippelback's explosions make the sheep to start running outside "They found the sheep!" a Viking yelled "Concentrate over the lower blank!" Stoick ordered, when he look to the edge of the tawer where he was a Monstrous Nightmare with its body in flames appeared
"Reload I'll take care of this!" Stoick said and then he started to slam the dragon in the head with his hammer the Monstrous Nightmare was trying to take Stoick with his jaws but then they both froze when they heard something the Monstrous Nightmare took this opportunity to escape but then
"Night Fury!" Someone yelled
"Get Down" someone else yelled
Immediately every Viking who heard the warning protect themselves with their shields suddenly a purple explosion destroyed part of the tower where Stoick was "Jump!" he quickly said and everyone on the tower jumped do get down just in time before the tower was destroyed
The Night Fury was the most dangerous dragon thew knew, it never shows, never steals anything and never miss

Hiccup and Blake saw everything that happened in the tower "You two, they need me out there" Gobber said changing his hammer with an axe, he was about to leave when he stopped and look to Hiccup and Blake
"Both of you stay put" Gobber said, when he left Hiccup looked up to Blake and said "Do you want to try our invention now?" Blake started to laugh a little before answering "Do you really have to ask?"
"Ok let's go" Hiccup said and took the bola launcher they both started to run only to stop at one hill, they place the launcher at the top and Hiccup was the one shooting "come on, me something to shot at"
Suddenly Hiccup and Blake saw something moving really fast in the sky almost instantly Hiccup fired the bolas but the force of the shot make him fall down Blake quickly help him to get up only to see something falling into the forest
"Hiccup" Blake who was still processing what happened "I think you made it, you shot down a Night Fury!"
"I hit it...Yes, I hit it!" Hiccup was so happy about his achievement "Did anyone else see that!?" but then a Monstrous Nightmare appeared behind them "Except for you"
Then the Monstrous Nightmare roared at them "RUN!" Blake said in horror, they started to run away from the dragon and Blake for pure instinct jumped out of the way but the dragon continued to follow Hiccup so he hid behind one big torch and the Monstrous Nightmare fire at him
Lucky for Hiccup the wooden pilar protect him from the fire the dragon was going to use its fire breath again but Stoick appeared just in time to save Hiccup, the dragon was going to fight Stoick but unfortunately it passed the shot limit so Stoick used this opportunity to slam the dragon in the face with a hammer
Then all the dragons flew away in retreat when the sun started to rise, when the dragons left the pillar where Hiccup was completely melted revealing a nervous Hiccup smiling awkwardly to his father but the disaster didn't end there the torch fall down making it roll all over the village burning some houses and freeing the captured dragons in the process
"Sorry...Dad" Hiccup said Stoick was only able to sigh in disappointment "But I hit a Night Fury" Hicucp said but Stoick didn't listen
When Blake arrived, Stoick began to scold them "Every time you two step outside disaster falls! Can you not see I have bigger problems? Winter is almost here and I have an entire village to feed!" Stoick scolded
Blake was only able to look away embarrassed by the situation but Hiccup decided to speak "Well, the village could use a little less of feeding don't you think?" He said with sarcasm like a defense mechanism
"This isn't a joke Hiccup! Why can't you follow the simplest orders?" Stoick asked "I-I can't stop myself! I see a dragon and I just have to kill it! It's who I am dad" Hiccup said
Stoick was only able to give a quick answer "You are many things Hiccup, but a dragon killer is not one of them now go home" Stoick said disappointed
Then Stoick looked at Gobber "Make sure he gets there and take Blake with you I have a disaster to clean up" Stoick said while leaving
They start walking to Hiccup's house and passed by the other teenagers "Quite performance you two" Tuffnut said and Ruffnut only laugh in agreement with her brother "I've never seen anyone mess up that bad-" Sontlout wasn't able to finish because Blake gave him a killer look that make him laugh nervously
Since that "incident" months ago Snotlout tried to beat up Blake at every opportunity but it never ended well for Snotlout, he would always end very hurt and Blake almost intact after a week of trying but failing because his ego and pride don't let him ask for help, he decided to use every opportunity he can to humiliate him and Hiccup
After Snotlaut end laughing Astrid only shook her head in disapproval, Astrid never trusted Blake she doesn't know about Blake's memory loss, so she always thought that he was hiding something
When the little scene ended, they continued their way to Hiccup's house, seconds later Gobber decided to start a conversation "Don't take it hard you two his job is to be though with everyone" Gobber said
"We are not everyone" Hiccup replied "We barely make eye contact and when we its always with a disappointing scowl, like someone skimped all the meat in his sandwich"
Then Hiccup started to make the final steps to the door of the house and then he make an imitation of his father "Excuse me bar maid I'm afraid you gave me the wrong offspring I ordered an extra-large boy with beefy arms extra guts and glory on the aside! This is a talking fishbone"
"Hiccup one day he'll be proud of you I know" Blake said in an attempt to cheer his friend up "I hope you are right, Blake" Hiccup answer and enter his house, Blake looked at his adoptive father "I'll talk to him and see what I can do" Blake said
"Ok just make sure to be back home for dinner" Gobber said
"Don't worry I will" Blake said entering the house where he found Hiccup getting ready to go to the forest
"Going somewhere?" Blake asked "I'm going to found that night fury we saw it falling somewhere in Raven's Point I'll look of it" Hiccup said with determination on his face
"Then I'm going with you" Blake said "Are you sure? It could be dangerous" Hiccup said
"I'm not leaving my best friend for nothing" Blake said "Ok we got a Night Fury to find" Hiccup said
