Narrator:
Two weeks had passed since what happened, Killer hadn't been feeling well lately and refused to tell anyone, he didn't want to be taken for someone weak.
Today he had a meeting in the castle of the nightmare that he could not miss, he felt a small pain in his abdomen that he did not give importance to 'It will pass later' he thought.
He prepared himself to arrive at his destination, he always left early to be the first to arrive and thus have the opportunity to see Nightmare before the others.
"Good morning Boss!" he said bowing respectfully.
Nightmare didn't say anything and proceeded to take a seat, a few minutes later the others arrived starting the meeting.
Throughout the meeting Killer was unable to pay attention, the pain was still there, slight but still there and that was what distracted him.
"Is something wrong Killer?" Dust asked in a whisper.
"N-no, nothing" Killer answered. He appreciated his best friend's concern but now wasn't the time for it.
It didn't take long for the nightmare to draw the attention of both of them.
"You dare to interrupt me?" Nightmare asked angry.
"O-of course not Boss" Dust replied scared.
"You must have a plan if you dared to interrupt me, why don't you share it with everyone else?" Nightmare answered with a somewhat sadistic smile.
Dust was in a cold sweat from how nervous he was, he didn't know what to say, if he didn't give a satisfactory answer, Nightmare would punish them. He looked at Killer anguished knowing what could happen to them.
Unlike Dust, Killer was more than calm. He was always prepared for an occasion like this and without further ado he said:
"Why don't we split up and attack two separate Aus?" everyone looked at him confused not understanding what he meant.
"Explain in detail" Nightmare said. More like an order than a request.
Enduring the pain he felt, Killer got up from his seat and continued "As I was saying, we can attack two different Aus, the Star Sanses would never expect this type of plan so they could only defend one of them. A group can distract them while the other causes chaos and destruction" I finish saying.
"Sounds like a good plan to me, good job Killer" said Nightmare more calmly.
In the end they agreed to destroy Sugartale and Candytale in two weeks.
The first group was made up of Killer as the leader, then there was Horror, Dust, Red, and Razz (Swapfell's Sans) tasked with distracting the Star Sanses, while the second group was made up of Nightmare, Error, and Cross who would cause chaos.
As easy as the plan sounded, they had to plan it carefully by agreeing to meet twice a week so there would be no flaws in the plan.
The meeting ended and everyone went to their respective Aus except for Killer, Dust and Horror. These three had agreed to have a way out after a long time, as the phrase goes: Peace before the storm.
Killer had a good day. All his problems seemed to disappear after he had hung out with his companions going to sleep in high spirits.
~Time after~
The bad sanses had their agreed meeting twice a week and the day to carry out their plan was approaching.
Killer's POV:
In the last few weeks I have been feeling sicker and sicker and others are starting to notice it too. My efficiency has decreased, I feel pain very often and even though I sleep well I feel more tired after making a little effort. I can't help but fall asleep in meetings and change my mood easily, Nightmare warned me that if my state disturbed the success of the mission he wouldn't hesitate to punish me.
I don't understand what's wrong with me. I'm supposed to be an assassin who can go days without sleep and still be able to win a battle against a human on the genocide route.
"This is affecting me more than I thought" I said to myself.

Narrator:
The day of the mission arrived.
Killer's morning routine had become like this:
Do little warm-up exercises to keep fit and takes a hot shower afterward.
He began to get used to the little aches and pains he had from time to time by sleeping most of the day to avoid falling asleep in meetings, all because he was too stubborn to admit that he was sick and didn't dare to check himself up because he thought he was being paranoid. The pain became stronger when he tried to train for long hours so he decided that with a few days of rest everything would return to normal. He always refused training requests from Dust and Horror with the excuse that it was better to train alone, he still didn't know how they believed it and didn't want to reproach them about it.
He hurried to join his group members in Sugartale starting with the fun. They started doing small damage without turning anyone into dust yet, if they wanted their plan to work they had to do enough damage to attract the Star Sanses, what seemed like a long wait for the inhabitants of the Au was only a few minutes for the group of the bad guys.
There they were, making their hero entrance like any good boy in adventure stories.
"Your fun time is over" Ink said with his right pupil red and the other with a gun sight holding his huge paint brush.
"The magnificent Blueberry is going to stop you" Blue continued with a grin from side to side.
[A/N: You must be wondering why Blue is fighting with the bad guys, that's simple, he and Dust have a secret relationship that only the Sans that I mentioned in the first chapter know, that's why they have to pretend they're enemies.]
"We will not let you destroy this Au" added Dream preparing his bow and arrows.
The fight started, Killer and Horror were taking care of Ink. Red and Razz from Dream and finally Dust that faced Blue.
Ink began by throwing ink at Horror and Killer, who easily dodged it by getting into a battle stance. Horror continued to throw his ax at the painter, the painter dodged it by directing his gaze towards the ax for a second, that second was enough distraction for Killer to counter-face brushing his enemy's cheek while Horror quickly went to get his ax back. At the moment these were the only ones who had a chance to have a fight evenly matched in power.
When the Star Sanses arrived, the inhabitants of the Au had been filled with hope, a feeling that allowed Dream to become stronger and launch almost infinite arrows, preventing Red and Razz from counterattacking.
As for Dust and Blue's fight, it could be said that they were just in a shoot and dodge, neither would forgive each other if they hurt the other.
What the Star Sanses don't know is that the moment the inhabitants of the Au emitted the feeling of hope, they not only made Dream stronger, but also gave the signal to Nightmare to begin his attack on Candytale.
Dream started to feel the negativity coming from another Au feeling alarmed 'Oh no'.
"Ink! Blue! This is just a distraction!" Dream yelled causing everyone (on what had become a battlefield) to listen.
"What!?" Ink and Blue yelled in unison upon hearing Dream's words.
Killer took advantage of Ink being distracted and attacked the painter's right shoulder causing him to yelp in pain.
"So you already realized" Killer said with a maniacal smile.
"But it's a shame" Razz continued preparing a Gaster Blaster aimed at Dream.
"Because we won't let you escape" Horror finished, throwing his ax again, this time aimed at Ink's skull, who barely dodged it.
The battle got stronger causing more destruction in its path at that moment, the Star Sanses noticed that the bad guys were holding back from the beginning to buy time.
They continued like this for about an hour, you could see the weariness of both groups. Killer was the most affected of all, his pain was becoming unbearable, he was still standing because he forced his body to move, he was beginning to see everything blurry and that was not a good sign. His salvation was heard in the distance.
They all stopped when they heard how a portal was opened in the distance, seeing three figures coming out of it.
"Do you guys missed me?" Nightmare said with a mocking tone.
Nightmare, Error and Cross had arrived to join the battle, leaving Candytale almost destroyed was a piece of cake for them.
The face of terror on the part of the Star Sanses was immediate, they were at a disadvantage and the negativity that the inhabitants of the Au began to give off the moment they arrived made it even worse.
Dream was losing his strength due to the vast Negativity compressed in the whole place ending up on his knees on the ground.
Blue had given up all hope of escaping and going home.
Ink was trembling, this wouldn't end well if he didn't do something quickly, he had to think 'Think, think, think' he told himself mentally. An idea suddenly crossed his mind 'Everyone is distracted looking at Nightmare, this is my chance to attack and decrease their number at least'.
The painter couldn't move his brush due to his injured shoulder so he dropped it and quickly summoned an ink bone attack aimed at each of the bad guys.
*Crack*
It was heard how the whole place fell into a huge silence when that sound was heard. Nightmare could see how one of the ink attacks had been stuck in the left arm of one of his subordinates.
You must be wondering who was the unlucky one (although I'm sure some of you must have already guessed :v).
Killer couldn't feel anything, his body had reached the limit, he had endured the pain for a long time and the pain in his left arm had taken him to the limit and he fell unconscious. He could vaguely hear his name being called several times before ending with his eye sockets completely closed.

I had a hard time finishing this chapter, when I started writing it I didn't really like how it turned out so I had to rewrite it all over again, that's why it took me so long.
