SCARLETT
"mama are you breaking in" rose said with her face leaned onto the wall "um- no sweetie-" i said slipping the bobby pin back in the back of my pants and turned the door handle.
i opened the door to be greeted with a dancing fleur with headphones on... no wonder she couldn't hear the knocking and doorbell. She was wearing light magenta long pj's and an oversized sweater with rose gold headphones that made her look tiny, especially with her messy punk type bun.
"To kiss in cars and downtown bars was all we neededddddd! You drew stars around my scars but now im bleedinnnnn" she sang with the wooden spoon as a microphone and i laughed leaning on the door after shutting it. "fleury you look silly!" rose laughed but fleur still couldn't hear her "she can't hear you rosey" i smiled
rose jumped on rose's back making her turn around "FUCK" she turned around almost dropping rose but she put her hand on rose's smaller back before setting her down to breath "STOP BREAKING IN!" She jumped with a cute pout looking at me as rose giggled "you said a bad word" she smiled at fleur "um- no i said duck!because ducks are cute" fleur said clutching her chest
"well you haven't answered me and it's been 3 days so i got worried" i started to make my way to them as did a tiny dog who i assumed was weenie.
"Weenie!!" Rose plopped herself on the floor and rubbed weenie totally distracted as she walked with weenie to fleur's mattress.
"Im sorry i just- i've been busy" she looked at me setting the headphones on her shoulders "too busy to reply to me for a second?" I raised a brow taking an apple which she nodded to "the dog, your skincare, music and y'know.." "screaming to taylor swift's folklore album?" I bit out of the apple not taking my eyes off her "yeah sure.." she scratched the back of her neck, taking the garlic bread out of the pan "rose do you want garlic bread?" She said loudly "Yes, please!"
"You aren't askin me?" "You're eating an apple" "Still.." i laughed teasing her "do you want garlic bread?" "No" she shrugs passing me to hand the plate to rose who thanked her.
"Im seriously changing my lock to a fingerprint one" fleur said turning to me as she sad on her mattress with rose "natasha romanoff can do anything" i smirked slowly walking towards her recording studio "hey dont go there!" She quickly stood up but stopped when she saw me looking at her funko pop collection "i was 15" she muttered and i kept my smirk on
"Natasha romanoff fan huh?" I said picking up a comic beside them "yeah" she sighed "wanda or natasha?" I asked seeing more wanda pops "both" "ratio says otherwise" "you didn't even know the slang meaning of that before i told you!" "avoiding the questionn" i said in a song manner "i dont know i had a big crush on elizabeth my whole teenage years..?" she swayed awkwardly.. she was adorable.. fuck.
"not me? ouch" i laughed walking towards her "no-i just kind of-" she panicked "relax darling, i was kidding" i stepped infront of her and she gulped "hows colin" she whispered. my smirk dropped. "he's good, he came home yesterday.. rose wanted to visit you today" i said stepping back looking at rose who was still occupied playing with weenie "mhm" she smiled making her way to rose, weird. "no snarky remark?" "nope" she sat beside rose and i finished the apple
rose had been asking fleur a lot of questions for about an hour, i guess she really missed her. "who's your best friend?" rose asked. we were all laying down on fleur's mattress. "i um- i dont know.. would you want to be my best friend?" "yes! yes! yes!" "then it's settled. you, lady rose, are my best friend" she smiled
"mama! im fleur's best friend!" she stuck out a tongue "hey! I knew her before you!" I laughed "yeah but she asked first" fleur said and i just had my mouth open making them both smile "how about.. you two are my best friends..?"fleur compromised "yes!" rose and i said
"what's your favorite flower?" rose asked "i like any red flower" "any? why?" rose sat up, curious. "becauseee red flowers mean true love and im still finding mine. so in the meantime, red flowers will do" she whispered "woah" rose said "mhm" "do roses count?" "Oh for sure! roses are gorgeous.. just.. like.. you" she said bopping rose's nose. i smiled at the two getting along.
"so is that your goal in life? mama says i should have a goal in my life" rose asks after thinking of her next question. i feel fleur turning to look at me before laying back down "there are different kinds of goals in life.. like jobs but yes. i think my ultimate goal is to find someone i love and.. someone who loves me as much as i love them. but as for my job.. hmm i think im already doing what i love." "people like to call me a hopeless romantic" she whispers to rose "whats that" rose whispers back, as if they are in their own world "hm they call me that because maybe i expect too much from the world because.. im so in love with love" she smiles "i hope you find someone good" "i hope so too, sweet pea"
"are you okay?" i finally asked fleur while rose was saying her goodbye's to weenie "im fine" she said "how about you?" "Im good" "thats good" she said nodding and rose came back "bye fleury" she hugged her legs "bye flower" she crouched to hug rose "see you soon!" rose ran around the halls leaving us two. "bye scarly" she said with a small smile "bye fleury" i brought her in for a hug she tensed at before melting a bit "i missed you" "i missed you too" she whispered "see you again soon" she said before shutting the door. i smiled softly before running a hand through my hair and making my way to rose.

i let myself think of what olivia said about me and scarlett. if she really fell inlove with me, why would she feel jealous if i hung out with scarlett? its not like we were dating.

or maybe i should date again... i need to get my life together. everything is going great but of course i focus on the negative things. i feel like if i were to get with someone i'd just hurt them, like everyone i've ever met. i hurt people, intentional or not. maybe i should distance myself for a while.. yeah!
