Sometimes my head
hurts so much that I seriously
think it will blow up any second.
Hilarious how I am supposed
to put on a happy, radiant smile
regardless of how I actually feel like—
because I'm not supposed to be sad,
for there is no such reason
for me.
But, isn't it enough? I mean,
do I really need to keep up a front
all the time?
I'm not a puppet,
to follow each and every instruction
directed to my brain,
through the lingering whisper of your soul.
Yes, I need a cup of laughter. And
a piece of smile. Eventually,
a little bit of something to ease
my mind—
so that,
I could finally recharge my batteries.
