Delilah walked out of her class feeling exhausted. She had so much work to do in such little time.
Delilah walked to her car placing her backpack in the passenger seat before driving off. She stopped in front of her moms house, opening the door.
"Delilah why didn't you tell me you were visiting?" Delilah's mom said placing two wine glasses down on the table.
The lights were dimmed and food smelt to be cooked. Delilah looked at her mom to see that she wore a tight purple dress with silver heels.
"Why is it so dark?" Delilah said turning the lights on. She took a seat on the couch sighing.
"I've had such a long day." Delilah said running her hands through her hair.
"Um...do you want to talk about?" Delilah's mom said looking at the kitchen.
"No not really but-"
"So sorry darling." A man walked out of the bathroom kissing her mom on the cheek.
Delilah stood up looking shocked. Her mom stood there awkwardly as she looked at Delilah then the man.
"Kyle this is my daughter Delilah, Delilah this is my boyfriend Kyle." Delilah smiled at Kyle feeling akward.
"Nice to meet you, your moms told me so much about you." Kyle stood there scratching the back of his head.
"Should I go?" Kyle said looking down at her mom.
"No Kyle, I'll go." Delilah said grabbing her backpack off the couch.
"Delilah you don't have to go." Delilah's mom said grabbing her arm.
"No really I should I'll talk to you later." Delilah said kissing her mom on the cheek and sprinting out the door.
Delilah drove back to Axel's house in her thoughts. She never knew that her mom could move on, she knew it was coming but she just had to adjust to it.
Delilah unlocked the door with the key Axel gave her to see Axel dancing in the living to music as he cleaned. Delilah watched him with a big smile on her face.
She placed her keys on the table clearing her throat. Axel turned to her,his face growing red. He then turned off the music playing with his fingers.
"Angel, when-I-I didn't know you would be back this early." Delilah walked towards Axel pulling him down to her aggressively.
"We're you having fun?" Axel looked at her in shock as she stroked his dick through his pants.
"Yes." Axel said looking down at her hand. Delilah moved away from him, going into the kitchen.
"Imma cook for us, where's Philip?" Delilah said opening the fridge.
"What?" Axel said looking confused. Delilah faced him to see that he was closer to her.
"Where's Philip?"
"Angel, you-you can't do that and say that your going to cook." Axel said squeezing her face.
"Do what? Love I just wanna cook." Delilah moved away from Axel feeling him staring at her.
Delilah moved back to the fridge pulling out some ingredients. Delilah watched as Axel watched her annoyed.
"Want to help me cook?" Delilah said turning on the stove. Axel didn't say nothing as she looked at him. She rolled her eyes going to the cabinet.
Delilah cut up some vegetables before putting on some meat. Axel watched as she did this, making her a bit uncomfortable.
When Delilah was done she turned off the stove and set some plates on the table.
"Do you know when Philip is coming?" Delilah said placing cans of sodas on the table.
"I don't know, thank you for the food angel." He said taking a seat. Delilah took a seat by him digging into her food.
"I'm going back home tomorrow." Delilah said taking a sip of her soda.
"Why? I thought we were having fun here." Axel said looking hurt.
"I am love, it's just I think it's time for me to go back to my apartment." Delilah said shrugging.
"I don't want you to go tho." Axel said playing with his food.
Delilah watched as he looked sad looking like he was about to cry.
"Axel I can always come and visit we don't even live ten minutes away from each other."
"I know, I-I just want to be around you." Axel said grabbing Delilah's hand.
"I'll stay a little bit longer for you." Delilah said rubbing circles on Axel's hand. Axel smiled wide showing his teeth.
Delilah climbed in bed cuddling up with Axel. He rested his head on her stomach. He then grabbed her hand intertwining the two fingers.
"We have to get up early for your appointment so get some rest." Axel said sleepily.
Delilah wasn't looking forward to her appointment, she just wanted to forget about it and move on.
Delilah ran her hands through Axel's hair while looking up at the ceiling. She then closed her eyes and drifted off to bed.
Delilah and Axel waited in the doctors room waiting for the doctor to come back. Axel kissed Delilah's face trying to make her feel better.
"Sorry for the wait Ms.Blue." The doctor said coming in with a smile on her face.
"The lab results look the same from last time unfortunately, hopefully by the end of the month we'll see some improvements."
"Okay thank you." Delilah said standing up.
"If you have any questions or anything new happens just contact us, okay?" The doctor said opening the door for the two.
"Okay, thank you." Delilah said leaving holding onto Axel tightly.
As they made their way to the car Delilah felt sadder before she even walked through the door. She thought that maybe there would be some improvements and everything would be okay again.
Delilah was silent as she got in the car. She placed her bag on the car floor and buckled up, looking out the window.
"Want to go get something to eat?" Axel said trying to look Delilah in the eyes, which she avoided.
"I'm not hungry."
"Okay...maybe we could go to the movies or something." Axel said playing with his fingers.
"Okay." Delilah said resting her head on the window.
Delilah walked up the stairs, trying to find her seat. The movie theater wasn't that packed but there was still a couple people there.
Axel took a seat next to Delilah placing the popcorn on his lap and the drinks in the cup holder.
Axel wrapped his arm around Delilah pulling her into him. Delilah placed her head on his shoulder feeling a little bit better.
When the movie was over they headed back to Axel's apartment. When they opened the door they saw Philip kissing a boy with dark brown hair.
"Why are you guys back so early?" Philip said getting off the boy. Delilah knew Philip was bi so she wasn't shocked at seeing him with a boy.
"Chill dude we're going in the room." Axel said grabbing Delilah's hand. Delilah waved at Philip and the boy when passing by the two.
Delilah threw herself on the bed with a sigh, while Axel went to his closet to change his clothes, he then laid by her after putting on a hoodie and shorts.
Delilah caressed Axel's cheek watching as he watched her do this. She then ran her hands down his lips enjoying how soft they were.
"My mom started dating again." Axel stroked her cheek looking at her with his big brown eyes.
"Are you upset about it?" Delilah sat up, making Axel sit up.
"No, It's just I'm not used to mom dating again I guess." Axel played with Delilah's fingers as she talked.
"You just have to get to know him."
"I know...I just want my mom to be happy with someone when I die." Delilah said looking down at her lap.
Axel stopped playing with Delilah's fingers, he then held her face in his hands making her look up at him.
"Don't say that angel, your not going to die." He said tears filling his eyes.
Delilah wiped his tear from his cheek kissing him. He then pulled her in for a hug, holding onto her tightly.
"Don't cry love I'm sorry." Delilah said running her hands through his hair as he cried in her arms.
Delilah and Axel laid down with each other, wiping each other's tears here and there. Axel held Delilah tightly making her feel a little bit better. They then feel asleep in each other's arms.
