Chris: "Okay, to recap from last time, 22 campers all arrive at an Island called Camp Wawanakwa, with the hopes of winning an easy $100,000! But little did they all know, they'd be put through some of the most death defying, anxiety inducing challenges man kind has ever thought of! And it all starts now on Total! Drama! Island!!"

Chris: "Alright campers! Your first challenge will be simple! Well, compared to the others."
(Y/N): "Wait- what does he mean by 'compared to the others'?"
Chris: "You'll see when the time comes." [Chris says in a sly tone.]
Chris: "Anyways. You will have to jump this 1,000 foot high cliff, into the lake below! Though, make sure you land inside of the rings as you can also see below, landing inside the bigger ring has the possibility of you getting eaten by psychotic, man-eating sharks!"
(Y/N): "Why do you sound so happy saying that!?"
Chris: "Inside of the smaller ring though, is a safe zone! That's your target. Make it into that ring, and there's only a slight chance you'll be eaten by the sharks!"
Leshawna: "Excuse me?"
Chris: "Fail to complete this however, and you'll cost your team a point, you can also take the escalator back down the mountain, but it comes at the cost of you needing to wear this chicken hat for the rest of the day, and costing your team a point!"
[Chris pulls out a hat made to look like rubber chicken to prove he wasn't lying.]
Chris: "However, there's a second part to this challenge! After your team all jumps, there will be a crate of supplies waiting below." [He points down to the beach where there are two, eight crate piles.] "Inside each crate, are the supplies you'll need to build, a hot tub!"
Chris: "The team with the best hot tub gets to have a wicked, hot tub party tonight. But, the losers will be sending someone home."
Gwen: "Geez, first challenge and we're already needing to risk our lives just to have a pool party."
(Y/N): "Honestly, who ever gets sent home might actually be the lucky one instead."
Chris: "Up first, will be the Killer Bass!"
[Bridgette looks over the ledge, visible fear on her face, but, who can blame her?]
Bridgette: "O-kay.. So, who wants to go first?"
[Her team just stands there awkwardly silent, to add insult to injury you can even hear a few crickets chirping.]
(Y/N): "Actually guys, I just realized, don't shows like these have interns to test the challenges to make sure they're safe enough for us?"
*Flashback*
Chris: "Okay, so we need to test this to make sure it's actually survivable."
Chef: "Do I look like an intern to you?"
Chris: "No, but the ones we had are all in the hospital. Come on, just jump it you big chicken." [Chris even adds a few clucking noises to add salt to the wound.]
Chef: "I don't get payed enough for this shi-"
[Before he can finish his sentence, Chris shoves him off the cliff where he falls into the waters below, though, he lands outside of the safety ring.]
Chef: "Hey, I made it man! I-"
[All of a sudden, he feels something bush up against his leg, it feels, rough and sandpapery.]
Chef: "H-Hey, uhh, something just brushed up against my leg! Hey Chris man! Something ain't right down here!" [He's practically panicking at this point, wondering what's in the waters with him.]
[All of a sudden, he gets pulled under the water, then just as soon as he got pulled under, he cartoonishly jumps out of the water into the air and runs away while screaming.]
Chris: "Well, that seems safe enough!" [He jots a few things down on a clipboard.]
*Flashback End*
Eva: "So, who's up?"
Duncan: "Ladies first." [He says in a cocky tone.]
Bridgette: "Know what, I'll go. It shouldn't be that bad, just a cliff dive into a circle of angry sharks." [After saying that she jumps over the cliff and luckily lands into the safe circle, where she is then picked up by a tug boat.]
[Tyler sees this and decides to go, he jumps over the cliff and lands straight- into a diving bell- his, manly parts, taking the blunt of the impact. All of the guys on the cliff see this and wince in pain, including you, and even Chris and Chef.]
Duncan: "That's gotta hurt.."
(Y/N): "I can't help but feel bad for him.."
[After that, a few more people on Killer Bass jump over the cliff and into the water safely, when it gets to DJ's turn, he's too scared to do the jump.]
DJ: "Nuh uh, no way man. I'm not jumping."
Chris: "Scared of heights?"
DJ: "Yeah, ever sense I was a little kid."
[When he says that, you hear some sad music playing somewhere and just decide to shrug it off as part of the show.]
Chris: "Aww, that's okay big guy." [Chris says in a sweet tone.] "Unfortunately, that makes you a chicken!" [Then immediately goes back to his old self.]
[Chris pulls out a chicken hat and put it on DJs head.]
Chris: "You'll have to wear that for the rest of the day as I said before!"
DJ: "Aww man.. for real?"
[Chris makes a few chicken noises.]
Chris: "That means you'll have to take the chicken way back down." [He refers back to the escalator.]
[DJ hangs his head low in shame and walks to the escalator, but before he can go down it, you walk over to him.]
(Y/N): "Don't worry man, I don't blame you, I get having a fear you can't get over."
[DJ gives a sad smile while looking at you.]
DJ: "Thanks man"
[After that you walk back over to your group. Gwen gives you a smile and you return it. Then Ezekiel jumps over the cliff, hitting a rock on the way down but makes it in regardless. Once he makes it in his team cheers for him. Then it's Harold's turn, and for some unspeakable reason, he tries to do a split on the way down. He hits the water- and it ends about as good as you thought it would.. While he's wailing in the water all of the guys again wince in pain.]
(Y/N): "If I had two nickels for each time that happened, I'd have two, which isn't a lot but it's weird how it's happened twice now."
[Courtney's turn ends up the same as DJ, she claims she has some medical condition that 'prevents her from jumping off cliffs.' Chris tells her that it may cost her team the win. She says it's fine and that by looking at your team, none of you will jump. So, she refuses to jump and Chris puts a chicken hat on her head while making chicken noises.]
Chris: "So, for the Killer Bass, that's 8 jumpers and 2 chickens. We're missing one."
[He looks over to Sadie and she and Katie are holding onto each other like lost puppies. They go on a spiel about how they wont jump unless they're together, so after a bunch of pleading and Izzy volunteering to switch, Chris moves Katie to the Killer Bass and Izzy is moved onto your team. As expected, the two hold hands and jump over the cliff together, landing in the safe zone.]
Chris: "Alright, that's now 10 jumpers and 2 chickens. Screaming Gophers, if you can beat that, then I'll throw in a cart for you to carry your supplies in!"
Trent: "Nice! Alright guys, who's up first?"
[As with the Killer Bass, you all just stand there awkwardly not wanting to jump. Heather says she isn't doing it, then when Beth asks why, Heather goes on a spiel about how she's on live TV and she doesn't want to get her hair wet.]
Gwen: "You're kidding, right?"
(Y/N): "Yeah, what Gwen said-"
Lindsay: "If she's not doing it I'm not doing it."
[This sets Leshawna off as her and Heather get into an argument, insulting each other and surprising you and the rest of your team. Soon Leshawna had enough and full on picks up Heather, and chucks her over the ledge. She lands in the safe zone. This makes some of your teammates gasp, while you and Gwen laugh. ]
*Confessional Booth*
Gwen: "She totally had it coming to her!"
(Y/N): "That was the best thing I saw all day!"

[Heather blows some of her sopping wet hair out of her face and looks back up to the cliff and shouts.]
Heather: "Leshawna! You are SO dead!"
Leshawna: [She yells back down.] "Hey I threw you into the safe zone didn't I? Now I just hope I can hit it too." [She says to herself as she jumps over the cliff, luckily making it into the safe zone where Heather is still in the water.]
Lindsay: "I thought this was going to be a Talent Contest?" [She says worriedly.]
Chris: "Haha- no."
[Lindsay jumps over and makes it. You turn to Gwen.]
(Y/N): Soo- do you want me to jump first or would you rather go ahead of me?"
Gwen: "I'd prefer if you went first.." [She tells you with a hint of worry in her voice.]
[You nod and go over to the edge to make the jump, but before you can Gwen calls your name, you look over to her.]
Gwen: Hey- (Y/N). Be safe.."
[She says with a hint of embarrassment and worry in her voice. She looks at you with a sort of scared look on her face, you give her a sweet smile.]
(Y/N): "Worried about my safety, hmm?"
Gwen: "Well, yeah, b-but that's only because you're one of the only people who's actually worth really talking to."
[You laugh and reassure her.]
(Y/N): "I'll be fine Gwen! Don't worry."
Chris: "Any day now (Y/N). I don't get paid enough to stand here getting sun burnt."
[You nod and dive over the edge, safely making it into the safe zone. Gwen looks over and sighs in relief before jumping over herself and landing in the safe zone, where you help her up onto the boat.]
(Y/N): "See, told you I'd be safe." [You smile at her.]
Gwen: "S-shut up-"
[You chuckle to yourself as Gwen looks down in embarrassment. You notice this and reassure her.]
(Y/N): "Well, thanks for caring about my safety. It means a lot, and to be honest-" [You scratch the back of your head while looking down.] "I was worried about you too."
[Gwen is shocked for a second, but gives a shy smile and looks at you.]
Gwen: "No problem, and- thank you."
[While you two were talking a few more people from your team took the jump and landed safely into the water. It was Beth's turn, but she couldn't do the jump and took the chicken hat. Leshawna and Cody were making chicken noises while you and Gwen stood there and understood her decision, Lindsay even called her lame. Trent makes the jump and sticks it, then it is finally Owen's turn to jump, with him being the last one who hasn't yet. Suddenly Chris starts talking on a megaphone.]
Chris: "Alright campers! There's only one person left! You guys need this jump for the win." [Chris turns to Owen.] "No pressure dude." [Owen looks to have calmed down, but then Chris being Chris he holds back up the mega phone.] "No, I'm lying, there's a ton of pressure!" [Owen immediately goes back to being afraid.]
[You and your team cheer Owen on from the beach, telling him he can do it and there's nothing to worry about. Owen puts on arm floaties on each arm while doing some breathing exercises.]
*Confessional Booth*
Owen: "See, the thing is- I'm not that strong a swimmer.."
Geoff: "I'm looking at this guy and thinking, there's no way he's gonna make it."
Gwen: "I actually thought, if he jumps this, he's gonna die."
(Y/N): "Seeing Owen up there preparing for the jump, I was hoping that he'd make it."

Chris: "Take a good run at it buddy, you can do this!"
Owen: "I'm going to die now, I'm going to FREAKING die now."
[You all watch from the beach, suspense looming over all of you.]
Leshawna: "Come onnn big guy.."
[Owen closes his eyes and starts bolting straight toward the edge while screaming, he jumps over the cliff and immediately realizes what's going to happen.]
Owen: "Ohhhh, crap!"
[He continues screaming on the way down, but the moment he hits the water, a huge wave comes straight toward the beach, washing over everyone and even carrying some stuff from the lake with it. After the wave subsides everyone is left drenched, even the boat is flipped on its side on the beach, from the distance you even think you see a shark hanging from a tree. ]
Owen: "Oh yeah! Who's the man!"
[Beth and Leshawna root for him. Chris, still on the cliff shouts down with his mega phone.]
Chris: "The winners, are, The Screaming Gophers!"
Trent: "That was awesome dude, what's wrong?"
Owen: "I- uh, I think I lost my bathing suit."
[Everyone is grossed out and starts complaining.]
*Timeskip*
[You and your team are pulling the wagons with the crates needed to build your hot tub inside them, you're helping pulling one of the wagons while Gwen walks besides you while basically your entire team sings 'One Hundred Bottles of Pop on the Wall' to pass the time. Lindsay stops to pick up a seashell she found, well, laying on the sea shore. Falling a bit behind but catching back up with you all. Speaking of lagging behind, you notice that you're practically miles ahead of the Killer Bass.]
(Y/N): "Huh, I wonder how well they're doing needing to manually haul those crates back."
Gwen: "Not sure, but seeing as who's all on the team, probably arguing."
(Y/N): "Yeah, you have a point."
*Mini Timeskip*
[Eventually you all make it back to the campgrounds. You look back and you don't even see the other team anymore.]
(Y/N): "I think you were right Gwen, something tells me we won't be seeing the other team for a while."
*Another Mini Timeskip*
[Chris told you all that the only way to open the crates, is by using your teeth. You managed to get yours open with some difficulty, but Gwen helped you get yours open.]
(Y/N): "Thanks!"
[She smiles back at you.]
Gwen: "No problem."
[Izzy, while trying to open hers with a rope]: "Hey, I think I got it open!" [Suddenly her crate falls open and you and Gwen jump back, the rope in Izzy's mouth is yanked out.]
Izzy: "Ow! Ow! Rope burn on my tongue!"
Chris: "Alright, you guys stay here while I go see what the other team is up to." [He jumps onto a quad and drives off.]
Gwen & (Y/N): "Well, at least Chris is out of our hair for a while."
[You two notice you said the same thing and look at each other in surprise, while the rest of your team looks at you two in confusion. After that you all decide to go through your crates and see what you got.]
Owen: "Hey! I got wood!"
[This catches you off guard as you try and hold yourself back from laughing and not make yourself look immature. Gwen sees this and smirks while rolling her eyes.]
(Y/N): "H-hey! Don't judge me it caught me off guard!" [You tell Gwen, flustered and embarrassed.]
Gwen: "I'm not, don't worry."
[She tells you still smiling at you. You notice she has that same red tint on her face as before, but decide to still not bring it up. You then look over and see Heather striking up a conversation with Leshawna, you decide to listen in and see what they're saying. Basically she was just apologizing for being a jerk to Leshawna back at the cliff, which you thought was weird but decided to brush past that, she even compliments Leshawna's earrings. she accepts heathers apology and apologizes for throwing her over the cliff, they make a truce and part ways, but you're not done listening.]
Lindsay: "Did you mean all of that stuff you said to Lefanda back there?"
Heather: "Leshawna? No, she's going down! And PS, those are the ugliest earrings I've seen in my life!"
[You hearing this makes you want to go over and throw her off the cliff again, but you decide to stop eaves dropping and start pulling your own parts out. You then notice that the Killer Bass finally made it back to the camp.]
Harold: "Finally.."
Trent: "Hey, what's up guys."
(Y/N): "Geez- what happened to Courtney, did she get punched or something?"
[Leshawna sticks her head out from one of the crates.]
Leshawna: "Aren't you missing a couple of white girls?"
[Courtney, Ezekiel, and Harold look around and eventually spot Katie and Sadie- squatting in the water for some reason.]
Courtney: "They're getting a drink-!"
Harold: "Yeah, if they drink from their butts."
[Ezekiel laughs at Harold's pretty bad joke while Leshawna notices Courtney's swelled up eye. Courtney says it's just an allergy but you're not that dumb to fall for that. Eventually Geoff gets onto the crates and tries to give motivation to his team, but to no avail.]
*Timeskip*
[You're helping Beth hammer in a few nails into to the hot tub, which is coming along pretty well. You look over to see how the Killer Bass is doing, and let's just say that theirs looked like someone trying to build IKEA furniture without any instructions. Geoff tries to put a plank of wood on, but the whole thing just falls apart. You can't help but feel bad for them. When it came time to start filling up the hot tub, you all decided to hand the bucket off to each other Olympic style. You started to hand Gwen the bucket so she could dump it in, but you two lock eyes for about 5 seconds, stuck in a trance, before you two eventually come to and look away embarrassed. Soon, it came time to judge, your teams hot tub looked like it was put together professionally, while the other teams, looked like it was about to fall apart any second now. Chris looks at your teams tub first, he looks around it with a critical look, then lightens up. He shoots out is arms in joy and exclaims.]
Chris: "This! Is an awesome hot tub!"
[Your team celebrates a bit, you and Gwen even hugging before immediately realizing what you were doing and broke it off, just giving each other a high five instead while awkwardly laughing. Chris then goes over to inspect the other teams, 'hot tub', he taps the base and immediately get sprayed by water from a leak in the 'hot tub'. It starts to shake, then falls apart, spilling all the water inside of it all over the ground. A pelican that was inside of it washes up next to your feet, you notice it has a plastic can holder around its neck, you snap the plastic around its neck off and set it free. A few team members notice and give you a pat on the back, while Gwen kind of stares at you without you noticing, smiling and sighing in a dream like state.]
Chris: "Well, I think we have a winner here." He goes silent for a second.
Chris: "The Screaming Gophers!"
[Your team celebrates while the losing team just looks down in disappointment.]
Chris: "Gophers! You all are safe from elimination and you get to rock this awesome hot tub for the rest of the summer!" [You all celebrate even more.]
Chris: "Killer Bass, what can I say, sucks to be you right now. I'll see your sorry butts at the bonfire tonight."
Lindsay: "We won! We all get to stay here for another 3 days!"
[Heather and Beth hug her and celebrate- while Owen, for some reason, appears with out any pants on. You just cover your eyes and just let the second hand embarrassment consume you. Even worse is he starts doing a little dance while celebrating how they all get to stay.]
*Timeskip*
[You're all gathered in the main lodge to eat, obviously you aren't eating that "food" so you just decide to sit and talk instead, of course, you decide to talk to Gwen more. All of a sudden you see Lindsay stand up from her seat and yell no.]
Lindsay: "I mean, no salt, there's no salt on the table- bummer.."
[You just shrug you shoulders and continue talking. Or, should I say try to, you hear an argument start at the other table and you decide somewhat to listen in. All you hear is Ezekiel make a pretty sexist comment and see Eva grab Ezekiel by the neck, but you don't really hear what she says as Geoff runs over to stop the arguing.]
*Timeskip*
[You're all having a hot tub party, you and Gwen decide to not go in but instead you two decide to sit on the edge of the woods and hang out with each other more, mostly the most you've managed to get out of her is a little bit of her life outside of the camp, but even if you don't know a lot about her, you realize that just hanging out with her feels, calming and relaxing, and little do you know, she feels the same way.]
