Y/N's P.O.V
Never in a million years did I think Lloyd Garmadon would ask me to do the one and only Chapstick Challenge with him. It wasn't like I didn't want to, more of a shocking thing to hear him say. He was such a shy, sweet, and innocent guy who I just so happened to have a crush on. I mean, how could you not. He knew I did, it was an unfortunate state of events how he found out. It was also the day Jay's body got dyed an orange color.
I remember it like it was yesterday, probably because it was a little over a week ago. First thing that happened was Nya making the comment that old trends on YouTube were becoming popular, especially the Chapstick Challenge. The boys all asked what it was and so me and Nya explained the concept. Two people, usually a couple, get a bag of random flavored Chapstick and take turned putting it on, kissing, and trying to guess what the other person has on. Each guess that is correct means a point. The prize is different for every one that does it. They all had un readable faces, Lloyd's however was pretty red. He blushed easily. Jay was red to, but he's a ginger and a nervous wreck when it comes to any kind of intimacy talk.
The next day I was walking down the halls of school, it was our senior year and we only had one week left but it was technically 3 days left. I was going to my last class of the day, I had finished my finals for the day and only had one left over all. Most of my classes didn't have a final technically, just a small project or last assignment. As soon as I sat down in the class the alarm for Garmadons almost daily attacks went off. Unlucky for me, I drank way to much Iced tea at lunch. I normally could hold it a full school day, refusing to use the school bathrooms.
We all quickly got under our desks, I was bouncing my leg trying to hold it.
"Mrs. Powers I need to use the restroom?" I huffed, getting her attention.
"Fine, but hurry up Y/N, you know the rules during an attack." I nodded and quickly got up, grabbed the emergency pass, and ran down the hall to the women's restroom. I did my business, washed my hands and walked out.
But in the corner of my eye I saw the others in the hallway by their lockers. And I literally watched them get in the lockers. I guess hiding from Chen was getting more extreme.
"What are you guys doing?" I asked doing a quick jog in front of them as I caught them standing in the lockers.
"Oh no." Jay screeched as the all dropped.
Like actually just dropped. Disappeared.
In shock, I slowly walked over the the lockers and checked them, the bottom of the lockers were still there. Stepping back I continued to look at them for another minute before the doors automatically stood shut. With my face expressing confusion, I turned on my heel slowly and made my way back to my class room.
It was a good 10 minutes chilling under the desk when the evacuation alarm rang. You can imagine what happened after that. I remember being on the street and something coming after me. The next thing I knew the Green Ninja came down and landed next to me and started fighting off what ever animal human these generals were this time. As he left to go fight some where else, we made brief eye contact before he got swooshed away on his Dragon.
"That's little shit."
Lloyd's P.O.V
"Oh, she definitely knows guys." I said into coms.
"Well, I warned yall about the hallway lockers." Nya remarked.
"Well, we've been safe for over 3 years." I replied.
"At least it was Y/N and not someone else." Jay said. "It could be worse. At least she has a huge crush on you, it will be easier for you to make sure she doesn't reveal anything."
"Jay!" Nya exclaimed.
"I'm sorry, she has a what on me?"
"Shes in love with you, dude. It's probably for the best that you talk to her."
"Jay, I swear to the first Spinjitzu Master if you don't shut the-"
"Language, sis!" Kai said, cutting her off.
"Shes had a crush on me this whole time and no thought to tell me?" I questioned, fighting off dolphin people this time.
"No!" Everyone minis Jay shouted.
"Why not?"
"Because it should have been her to tell you. I'm honestly suprised you didn't realize yourself." Cole said.
"I had no idea." I huffed. "Listen, let's get Garmadon out of here. Then we can deal with this later."
Y/N's P.O.V.
So that's how I ended up here. Lloyd at the front door of my apartment - I moved out quickly once I turned 18. I had worked my ass off to save up for an apartment. I was lucky enought to find one I liked with the style too, and my parents helped pay for furniture as long as I paid for the apartment, half of my phone bill and car stuff until I made enough, and all the miscellaneous items in the house.
Anyway, back to Lloyd. At my door. With a brown paper bag full of chapstick.
"I'm sorry, what the fuck did you ask me?" I said, still in shock at the words that escaped his mouth.
"I wanted to know if you would do the chapstick challenge with me." He shrugged like it was the easiest thing to comprehend.
"Let me get this straight, you-" I pointed at him.
"Yes me."
"Want to kiss me." I pointed at my self.
"That's part of the challenge." I couldn't believe my ears at this point. It was like I was in a dream that didn't feel real but I knew it was. I opened my mouth and closed it before turning on my heel and walking back into the apartment. Lloyd came right in, locking the door behind him.
Let me make it clear that I had been slightly avoiding the group since finding out this information of them being the Ninja. I think they might have been avoiding the conversation all together. We never mentioned it, but no one has really talked to me since school officially ended. The graduation ceremony was in a few days. This was the first time Lloyd and I have talked since I found out and this is by far the last thing I expected him to do.
"I mean, we don't have to obviously. I just figured you might want to since you have a crush on me." I froze in my place, staring at the drink that was in my hand. I felt my face heat up.
"I don't know what your talking about." I said, trying to change the subject.
"You do realize that Jay can't keep his mouth shut right?" Fuck you Jay.
"I'm going to kill him." I mumbled, taking a sip of my drink.
"I would prefer if you don't, sweetheart." I don't know where this confidence came from, but it's weird.
"Now hold on." I said, turning to him and point my finger. "You dont get to walk up to my door, days after I find out y'alls little secret, then finding out I liked you, and then come here and play it cool. Absolutely not."
"Why not?" He questioned.
"Why would you want to do this with me? It's a really intimate game." I replied back, shifting my weight onto one side and putting my hand on my hip.
"Because I like you to and Nya said you wanted to do this game with your boyfriend that didn't exist back then." That was a lot. I raised my brow at him. "I mean, I figured it was obvious that I liked you. All of the others figured it out a week after I realized my feelings." His confidence went away as he got nervous again, giving me a sheepish smile. There's the Lloyd I knew.
"So you thought the best way to confess to me was to make out?" I asked bluntly. He turned red real quick. He went to explain him self but continued to stumble on his words. He was trying to explain himself and was focused on his explanation, he didn't realize I had already grabbed a chapstick from the bag and applied it with my back to him. I set the one I grabbed to the side, Lloyd still wasn't paying attention. With a deep breath I collected my thoughts and walked over to him.
I jumped up to sit on the counter of the kitchen island right next to him. Leaning forward I grabbed him by his jacket and pulled him to me for a kiss. His arms were out from shock and before he could react and do anything back I pulled away.
"Well, what's your guess, Green Ninja." I teased. I rested my arms on his shoulders and used my legs to pull him closer, so he was right between my legs. He put his hands on the counter next to my thighs.
"What." He said, still a bit shocked. With growing confidence I moved my head closer to Lloyd's again, feeling his breath on my face.
"And here I thought the infamous Green Ninja could hands a girl or two." I said, smirking at him. "I asked what your guess was. Unless you don't know and have already lost a chance for a point."
"But you-"
"I already put one on Lloyd." He gave me a blank stare. He tapped his fingers against the counter and licked his lips.
"Um, green apple?" He said, looking up to meet my gaze.
"One point to you." I said closing my eyes. "My turn to guess." I felt him mover slightly to reach and grab something from the bag, and the pops of the chapstick being opened and closed. I felt Lloyd shift his weight and could sense his hesitation about where to put his hands.
"Can I look?"
"Uh, sure." He responded so I complied and opened.
"Are you going to kiss me or not?" I asked. "If I recall, you asked me to do this challenge. Are you no longer wanting to do it?"
"I do, I just don't know your boundaries." He said, giving me a lopsided smile.
"Lloyd, man handled me for all I care. If I become uncomfortable or want to stop, I will tell you. It's just me at the end of the day."
He seemed content with my answer - maybe a little embrassed at my bluntness of being ruff - but he relaxed. He gently grabbed my waist and scooted me closer to him, then resting his hands on my mid thigh. He started to lean forward and I followed, parting my lips and joining him in a much softer and gentle kiss than what I threw us in at first. I felt him start to draw small swirls on my thighs - I was in sports shorts and a tank top since it was becoming summer and was getting 10x hotter by the hour. Honestly I was so immersed in the kiss I forgot the about the challenge. I was to focused on the kiss and keeping up with him, because I was not a short kiss. Plus, him rubbing my thigh was not helping. Maybe it wasn't the apartment that was hot.
"Watermelon." I said, pulling back just an inch from his lips.
"You are correct." He said looking into my eyes.
We continued the challenge for a while. Each kiss was not a quick few pecks, no. We are talking passionate kisses. No tounge action, not just yet.
I knew Lloyd was trying to hide his little problem he had behind the counter, but I knew better. I guess being a Ninja meant all senses were heightened. It was my turn, and I was now determined to end it here. I was growing impatient myself, I was definitely squirming a little much.
After applying the chapstick I wasted no time and grabbed his face into a kiss. It was very noticeable that we were both getting bored. This time the kiss was cut short as Lloyd licked my bottom lip and pulled away.
"Cotton Candy. You taste like cotton candy." He said, slightly out of breath.
"You win. Your prize is in my room." I said bringing him into another kiss. He picked me up and easily carried me to the location we needed.
I got a very angry note on my door the next morning.
