"I mean, good for her right?"
"For sure. She's a good girl, I'm glad she's getting through it." Kourtney talked with her blonde sister in Kris' kitchen. The women had just seen Y/N's new paparazzi pictures and didn't seem to be too upset, apart from worrying about their younger sister's reaction.
"Yeah. I do wish Kendall and her would get back together though." Khloe bit her nail.
"I mean it's understandable that they take time from each other. Plus I don't think they would work right now. Y/N's seems very comfortable in herself and Kendall still doesn't."
"That's true, I just miss how things were. I can't imagine how hard it must be for Ken." The older Kardashian agreed. "Did you see she's coming out with new music next friday?"
"Yeah. If she was nearly as heartbroken as Kendall, it's about to be brutal." Khloe laughed nervously.
"Do you think she's getting with these girls to get her mind off Ken?"
"Hey. What're you talking about?" Kendall got into the kitchen mindlessly and grabbed an apple from the fruit holder.
"Hm-"
"No need to stop talking when I get in the kitchen." The model slightly raised her brows, making the other sisters share a look.
"We were talking about Y/N."
"What about her?" Kendall seemed surprisingly chill, even though she was a bit tense.
"Nothing, we were just talking about how she's releasing new music soon." Khloe spoke softly.
"If you were talking about those pics that came out just say that." She took a bite of the fruit.
"Ken-"
"It's fine. I can't do anything about it, I'm gonna hear about it anyway." She sighed.
"I don't think she's seriously dating any of these people." Kourtney chimed in.
"Even if she is I have nothing to do with it. We're done guys."
"But you don't want to be." Kendall took a deep breath and went to the living room, where she threw herself on the couch. "You should talk to her."
"You should've seen her face at the Calvin Klein party when she saw me. I can't talk to her, not right now." She shook her head.
"I bet she's dying to see you." The youngest girl just sighed and looked at her phone.
"I have to go now, I have to go to Devin's game practice." She rolled her eyes. "Tell mom I might come around later again." She hugged both of her sisters and stormed off.
"She really doesn't like this guy, does she?" Kourtney smiled amusedly.
"I don't even think she dislikes him, she just misses Y/N and hates doing this pretend shit. I don't know why she's so damn stubborn." She got up to clean the half eaten apple Kendal had left on the counter.
"Let's wait and see how things go from here. She might change her mind about talking to her soon."
"I hope so."

Y/N's POV
"I'm serious, dad. I'll teach you how to skateboard even if it's the last thing I do." I spoke playfully as I turned the radio's volume slightly up.
"Are you tired of your dad? Is that what this is about? Because I will die." I laughed loudly, gaining a smile from the actor.
"I promise you won't."
We were currently on our way to Santa Monica. It was like a tradition for us to every once in a while visit the pier, ride on the ferris wheel and eat whatever junk food we could find. Even though we always caused a big fuss with the people and the paparazzi, it was worth it every time.
"I never asked you, how was the yacht ride with your friends?"
"Pretty cool. Thanks again for letting me borrow it. Did mom beat your ass for it?" He smiled without taking his gaze off the road.
"She wasn't that fazed. Did she scold you?"
"Oh man, let's say she just doesn't really like the thought of me in a yacht with crazy people like my friends."
We drove a couple minutes singing loudly to music until his car sound system started ringing, showing someone named 'Raymond set 5' was calling him.
"Hello?" He turned the speaker down a bit because it was still very loud from the music.
"Mr. Dicaprio? Can you speak at the moment?" I just went on my phone mindlessly as I listened to their conversation.
"Yes Raymond, I'm just in the car with my daughter. What is it?"
"I'm very sorry for the inconvenience but the producers just realized they messed up their schedules. Mr. Fincher is on set and he seems sure he told them you had scenes scheduled for today. He insists that you're on set to finish your second act scenes today." I looked at him in disbelief and he furrowed his brows.
"Are you sure there's no way I can do these scenes tomorrow? Even if it's very early in the morning? I was on my way to Santa Monica with my daughter."
"I'm sorry Mr. Dicaprio, but Mr. Fincher says all the other actors are here already and that you're presence is not negotiable. I'm really sorry for the mess up." He sighed deeply.
"Okay Raymond. I'll be there in about forty minutes. Have a good afternoon." He tapped on the car screen and ended the call.
"Are you serious dad?" I asked in disbelief.
"I'm sorry kid, but you heard that. They messed it up and I can't let them down. We'll do this very soon, okay?" He put his hand on my shoulder and squeezed it, making me groan.
"Shit. Can you at least take me home?" I was extremely disappointed by now, I'd been looking forward for this for very long.
"I'm afraid not Y/N. I can't afford to go to Calabasas and then come back to the set, it'll be too late." I groaned and rubbed my face. "Why so mad, kid?" He asked playfully as he made a turn. "You used to love going on set when you were a kid."
"Fine, but JLaw better be there or I'll just be moody the whole time." I crossed my arms and turned the radio volume up once again.
"So I'm not enough?" He chuckled. "Come on, you'll have fun."

We got into the huge Warner Bros Studios gates and my dad was instantly greeted by a very hectic looking guy I figured out was Raymond, since he looked very distressed.
"Thank you so much for coming Mr. Dicaprio. Again we deeply apologize for the inconvenience." He shook my dad's hand. "Good afternoon Ms. Dicaprio." He slightly bowed down to me and I felt the urge to laugh at how formal he was.
"Hey." I waved softly and went on my phone. I was still mad at them for screwing our plans.
"Your team is waiting for you in your trailer, but Mr. Fincher wants to talk to you before hand. He's on set 7. Do you want me to lead you there?"
"No, that's okay. Thank you Raymond." The short guy awkwardly nodded and went away to yell at someone else.
"Why does he treat us like we're royalty?" I chuckled as we walked inside a little cart to take us to set 7.
"That for sure is a weird guy, but he's very nice." He laughed. "Wanna drive?"
"No, I'm good." He sighed and called someone to drive us to set.
We arrived in no time and as we got in a bunch of different crew members came at us, either to apologize for something or to give orders. After my dad dismissed everyone he finally addressed me.
"Take this frown off your face." He squeezed my shoulder. "I wanna introduce you to someone." I rolled my eyes.
"If it's not Scarlett Johansson or someone like that, I'm not interested." I kept looking at my phone as we walked.
"Oh, hey Mr. Dicaprio! How are you doing?" I heard a sweet voice as we approached a part of the set which was all full of wooden tables and boxes.
I looked up and saw a beautiful and familiar girl. She had beautiful brown eyes and a very vintage looking face. Her eyebrows where thick and her smile seemed to light up the whole dark set.
"Hello Diana. This is my daughter Y/N. I don't think you guys have met." He put his hand on my back and slightly pulled me forward.
"It's very nice to meet you." The slightly shorter girl stuck her hand out and after analyzing her for a couple seconds, I shook it with a smile. It occurred to me that her hands weren't nearly as soft as Kendall's, even though her smile was almost as warm.
"It's my pleasure to meet you Diana. I'm obsessed with you in Booksmart." She smiled and I slightly shook my head. "I mean, I'm obsessed with the movie, and you did great on it too, yeah, that's what I meant." I felt my cheeks heat up from embarrassment and she chuckled.
"Wow, it's an honour, really. I'm absolutely in love with your music, like I can sing you every single lyric. I can't wait for your new single on friday." If I'd taken my attention off the girl I would've seen my dad amusedly smiling the whole time.
"I'll leave you girls talking, I need to go to fitting. I have a feeling you'll be great friends." He smiled and waved to the young girl in front of me after hugging me.
"What had you looking so cranky before?" She crossed her arms playfully and I smiled at her.
"I didn't look cranky." I rolled my eyes jokingly in embarrassment. "So-" I looked around awkwardly as my heart pumped in nervousness for some reason. "What role are you playing?"
"Your dad's evil step daughter, actually." She chuckled and I couldn't help but join in.
"I'm gonna have to watch this movie as soon as it comes out then, you don't strike me as someone who can play evil." She laughed and looked around as if impatient to leave, but not quite wanting to do so. "Please don't let me make you late." She smiled. "Do you think we can grab some dinner after you're done?" I licked my lips in a nervous act.
"Yeah, definitely." She bit her cheek and I couldn't help but think of a certain model. "I might need a ride though. I came here with a friend this morning."
"Yea-." I quickly remembered I hadn't come in my own car. "Actually, I just remembered I came with my dad and not my car." I pouted. "Do you think we can do this tomorrow or whenever you're free?"
"I'd love that." I took my cellphone out for her to give me her number.
"I'll call you." I nodded at her with a smile.
"I'll be looking forward to your call." She winked and went away into a room in which I couldn't see her anymore, leaving me alone standing and looking around for her like an idiot.
I realized I'd be alone for a while and went to my dad's trailer. It had an AC and snacks, so it wasn't all that bad.
After greeting some actors whom I'd known for basically my whole life, such as Margot Robbie and Meryl Streep, I went inside his trailer and threw myself on the couch, sighing and thinking about my interaction with the brunette from moments before. I didn't really know what I was feeling, it was like excitement but also confusion. I thought that I'd connected and liked her way more than Haze, but not nearly as strongly as it'd been the first time I'd met Kendall.
I decided to google the girl, not in a creepy way, more in a curious one.
I saw beautiful pictures of her but a gasp left my mouth as I read that she had the same birthday as Kendall.
I really needed to get the other tall brunette out of my mind, or I'd go crazy sooner or later. Writing my feelings out had helped me figure some stuff out about us, and also figure out that she still was the owner of my heart. I quickly got nervous again when I realized my most vulnerable song in a while would be out in five days for the world to hear.

i had this written as someone else but ended up deciding to change it to diana silvers (who one of you suggested), since i'm in love with her and think she really fits the part (sorry to disappoint some of you)
