It's the end of the week, so that means we go home tomorrow, by home I mean to hogwarts. Hermione came to the burrow at the beginning of the week resulting in her taking the bed I slept on and me taking the couch in the living room, I'd get up early every morning to no one knew except mione, I don't understand what's going on but every time I'm in the room with her and Ron I notice they're extremely touchy, like really touchy, I pointed it out to Harry and his reply was "someone's jealous" I denied it but yes I was jealous, I know I know I shouldn't be he's my best friend with some benefits, but I'm honestly getting worried they're going to begin dating or something, everyone has always shipped them.
Flashback to 3rd year-
Se(seamus)- you've got to admit y/n hermione and Ron would be so cute together.
He raised his brow at me making me stiff a laugh at him
Y- y-yeah cute...
4th year-
DT(dean thomas)- godric they'd have beautiful babies red curly hair
Y- yeah...
5th year-
N- are Ron and hermione still together?
Y- they never have been together
I laughed
N- oh I thought they were... they'd be cute don't ya think?
Y- yeah.
Back to present-
I fell asleep very late last night as I couldn't fucking get comfortable on this old couch, and I could smell everyone's scent on the couch from mrs.Weasley's perfume to Ron's stupid, stupid cinnamon and fire wood scent that always calmed me down...
I was woken up to the sound of shouting
R- well Where is she?!
Gi- I don't know she usually sleeps on the floor-
R- why the bloody floor.
H- man calm down I'm sure she's fine let's look- see there she is she's fine
Y- what happened?
Ron ran over and pulled me into a hug
R- I couldn't find you and I got worried
I pushed him off and looked at the clock
Y- SHIT
I took off up the steps seeing as we had nearly 15 minutes to get there pushing mione and Ginny out of my way to get into the bedroom to change, I just put on an old ripped pair of jeans and Ron's old hoodie I took from him back at hogwarts and grabbed my bags running back down the steps
Y- I'm here. I'm here
I couldn't breathe and Harry started laughing wrapping his arm around my shoulder
H- y/n... your hair honey...
Y- oh shove off
I pulled it into a messy bun and sat on the couch next to Ron who was looking over at hermione
Y- pretty isn't she
R- huh- oh I guess
He just shrugged but that "I guess" stung a lot and I think Harry could tell so he sat next to me and whispered
H- don't worry you're prettier and he's too much of a idiot to see
He smiled and I rolled my eyes
Y- if you say
R- if he says what
Y- nothing, it's nothing
I smiled and molly came down the steps
Mo- come on let's get going
We used to floo network to get to kings cross quicker, Fred and George aren't in school anymore surprisingly those two twats graduated but they still came with us to see us off
We got to the wall between 9 and 10 and I looked over at the twins
Y- wish me luck?
G- good luck jones
F-you've got this. And you better continue our work someone has to prank and throw the parties
I smiled, it's gonna be weird not having them here with me, causing all that trouble they've always caused, I'm gonna miss them..
Y- I'll miss you two idiots, be sure to write please... let me know how the shop is going please....
I hugged them and they hugged back
F- you'll do fine princess
He kissed my hand just like the first time we met making me laugh yet again, George kissed my head as a last goodbye so I kissed their cheeks
Y- don't go wiping that off either wait till you get home it's a new magic lipstick use it as a gimmick at the shop I made it!
They laughed and I took off towards the wall
R- bleamy y/n what took so long
Y- had to say goodbye to my boys
I looked down and saw him and hermione holding hands making my blood boil a bit but I ignored them and grabbed Harry and Ginny's hands pulling them to the train
Gi- I'm gonna go find Luna and everyone see you!
She took off not before kissing Harry's cheek making him redder than a tomato
Y- someone's got a crush.
H- shove off
He laughed but didn't let go of my hand pulling me to the back of the train but I was knocked over by someone... apples and mint... shit
D- watch it.
Y- shove it. Prick
He pushed me down
D- awe is she gonna cry? Or is her boyfriend gonna protect her?
I smirked at him and stood up
Y- firstly, I'm single. Secondly, I don't cry over assholes like you. Now move before I make you.
D- whatever
He scoffed not expecting me to stand up for my self
M- oh and malfoy
D- what.
He turned around with a grossed out look on his face making me smirk at Harry who knew what I was gonna do. I got close to his face making him nervous
Y- keep your hands off my shit.
I took my journal back and stomped his food before turning back to Harry who was trying not to laugh at the blondes pain. It was a bit far back to our compartment and once we got in Ron quickly jumped up from beside hermione going red
H- hey guys???
Now both of them were red making me annoyed, Harry sat down and I sat next to him.
Ron kept looking at me but I refused to look back at him fighting the tears back, they were snogging... the guy I was in love with was snogging the girl who can't bloody stand him... soon sadness turned to anger making me stand up and the other two look at me
Y- I've gotta go- to the bathroom...
I looked at Harry who knew I was lying he knew I was hurt but just nodded letting me go
I walked out letting my self cry once I got to the only empty room on the whole train, in the far back, away from everyone...
I began to cry but I soon saw myself in the reflection of the dark window
Y- god you look pathetic.
I wiped my tears and kept looking to myself
Y- I understand why her and not me...
Another tear slipped just as the door opened and in walked Ron
Y- go away please
I wiped the tear not looking at him and he sat in front of me
R- look at me
He used his pointer finger to guide my chin towards him but I wouldn't look at him I looked down
R- what's wrong
Y- nothing see
I smiled at him but he kept the same worried face
R- y/n you've been gone for an hour... you've clearly been crying
He pointed at my tear stained face
R- and you just... you look tired... what's wrong
Y- nothing is wrong Weasley now please... go back to everyone I'm sure they're worried about you
R- I couldn't care less if they're worried about me, I'm worried about you, you're my best friend
Y- exactly.
R- what
Y- I'm your best friend. Mione is-
R- my friend?
Y- Ron I've seen how you guys look at each other That's not how friends look at each other, and when me and Harry walked in you guys were really close and you jumped up so fast-
R- y/n... you're cute when you're upset yk?
Y- shut up. I'm serious Ron-
R- I love you. Not her, not lavender, not any other girl in this whole world, you. Just you. Ok? She was trying to help me I was telling her I liked a girl, I didn't say it was you, she thought it was her she kissed me I said it wasn't her it was someone else and she got embarrassed so did I because she kissed me, and when she did all I could think of was your lips... how they taste of strawberries, how they always have this natural pink color even when it's cold they stay bright and it's beautiful, I always think of you y/n. Only you. And I know we're not dating or anything but someday I wanna call you mine... I'm not sure when but when I ask you it has to be special, I want that day to be remembered forever. I love you. And only you.
I couldn't help but smile a bit making him smile
R- I knew I could cheer you up
Y- oh piss off.
He laughed and I couldn't help but think... I'm gonna marry this man..
Sorry for not posting again last night mother took my phone again and it pissed me off cus I was almost done with this chapter.
