As told Natasha made her appearance at the Rogers mansion and her and Steve along with their parents were currently discussing more ideas for the wedding.
"Now what about the honeymoon?" Melina asked as she looked down at her notebook
"I heard the Bahamas are wonderful this time of year" Sarah suggested
"Well, for Alexi and I's honeymoon he took us to a private island. You should do that" Melina stated
Natasha took a deep breath, this has been going on for over two hours now. Melina would ask a question then she would make a suggestion that Natasha and Steve would ultimately agree to. Even if they didn't like the idea. Melina has a way with manipulating people. Maybe that's how Melina and Alexi stayed married for so long.
"I think we could use a break" Natasha stated as she stood up from her spot on the couch
Natasha didn't wait for anyone to agree with her, she just took her phone and walked out the front door of the mansion.
"I agree" Steve stated as he stood up from his spot on the couch and followed the blonde outside
Melina got up from her spot and opened her mouth to protest but Sarah put a hand on her shoulder.
"Why don't we fix lunch" Sarah said before walking away into the kitchen with Melina reluctantly following behind her

Natasha walked down to the garden and sat down on a bench in front of the rose bushes. Taking a deep breath Natasha admired the scenery around her.
"What" Natasha asked in frustration as she sensed someone's presence behind her
Steve put his hands up in surrender "I come in peace" he joked as he took a seat next to her on the bench
"What do you want" she questioned as she glanced at the blonde
Steve shrugged "can't a guy just hang out with his fiancé without anyone questioning it?"
"Yeah, if they actually liked each other" she replied
Steve sighed "I told you I was sorry" he stated
Natasha scoffed "yeah. And I told you I didn't believe you"
"Why?" He questioned
"You weren't sincere" she stated in a duh tone with a shrug
Steve looked over at the roses in front of them with a huff of frustration. With an idea coming to mind he looked over at the red head with a smile "why don't we start over" he suggested
Natasha furrowed her eyebrows as she directed all of her attention to the blonde "start over" she questioned with furrowed eyebrows
Steve nodded "I mean we are going to be married in less than a week, mine as well start over right" he justified
Natasha didn't really like the idea of starting over, she found as just another excuse for people to make amends. And sure people start over but that pain from before will always be there, never to be forgotten. But Steve was right they are going to be married in less than a week, isn't better for them to be friends then enemies when that happens?
With a sigh of defeat Natasha held out her hand "I'm Natasha"
Steve smiled "Steve" he said as he shook her hand
"Kid's lunch is ready" Sarah shouted from the kitchen window
"We'll be right there" Steve shouted back as he took his hand away from Natasha's and stood up lending his hand out to the blonde
Smiling Natasha put her hand in his and he helped her up.

Sarah smiled at the pair as they walked into the dinning room and sat down at the table next to each other.
"Good, I'm starved" Tony stated as he walked into the dinning room with Joseph and Alexi close behind him
They all sat down at the table to eat. Natasha was hesitant to put food on her plate, she didn't want another event like last night to happen.
During lunch the men joked with each other while Sarah and Melina talked more about the wedding. Natasha on the other hand just listened to her mother and soon to be mother-in-law talk to one another. Sarah and Melina were currently talking about the honeymoon.
"I still think that a private island is a good idea" Melina stated
"I think we should let the kids decide. It is their honeymoon after all" Sarah stated
"Of course it is. I just think they'll have more privacy on a private island. No paparazzi. No one to take pictures of them and post them online" she justified "don't you think so Natalia" she asked as she looked over at her daughter who seemed to be lost in thought "Natalia" she called again when the blonde didn't answer the first time
"Humm" Natasha hummed as she snapped out of her thoughts and looked over at her mother
"I was talking about the benefits of a private island for yours and Steve's honeymoon" Melina said
"Oh, um, I-I don't really think a private islands necessary" she stated
"What's not necessary" Joseph questioned
"A private island for the honeymoon" Sarah stated
Joseph made an oh shape with his mouth but said nothing about it
"If you want to go to an island why not go to the Bahamas or something" Tony suggested
"It's their honeymoon they should go where they want" Sarah added
Joseph furrowed his eyebrows "do they want to go to a private island"
"No" Natasha replied while Steve said "we're thinking about it"
Natasha furrowed her eyebrows at the blonde while Steve just shrugged. Joseph's eyes darted between the two blondes before he took a bite out of his sandwich.
"When's the wedding again" Tony asked curiously
"Next week" Joseph replied as he took a sip of his tea
"Isn't that a little soon" Tony questioned
"No. The sooner the better" Alexi replied
Just then the sound of ringing could be heard throughout the dinning room.
"Natalia, what have I told you about your phone at the table" Melina scolded as Natasha took her phone out of her pocket
A look of horror appeared on the blondes face as she read the text message 'Clint's in the ICU' it read. Natasha looked over at Sarah "I-I'm sorry, I have to go" she stated
"What's wrong" Sarah asked concerned
"I have to go I'm sorry. Thank you for lunch" Natasha said before leaving the dinning room and going into the living room where she grabbed her leather jacket that hanged on the coat rack
"Is she okay" Sarah asked Melina and Alexi concerned
Alexi shrugged "how should we know" he replied
"You never know what's going on with that girl" Melina stated with a roll of her eyes
Steve looked at the two questionably but said nothing about their behavior.

Natasha ran out the front door of the Rogers mansion and grabbing her keys from her coat pocket she hopped on to her motorcycle and started the engine.
On her way to the hospital Natasha turned on her earpiece in her helmet and called Laura.
"Tasha" she greeted with a sniffle
"How is he" Natasha asked
"I don't know. I haven't seen his doctor yet" she replied
"What hospital are you at" Natasha questioned
Laura told Natasha the name of the hospital and bidding her goodbye, Natasha hung up and made her way to the hospital. Walking inside she quickly noticed Laura who cradled her son in her arms.
"How are you" Natasha asked as she walked up to the brunette and hugged her
"I'm okay. Can't speak for Clint though" she replied with a sad chuckle
"What happened" Natasha asked
Laura shrugged "I don't know. I talked to the doctor he said that Clint had a bluet two inches below his heart. He got it out and Clint's in recovery as we speak"
Natasha nodded
"Tasha, I hate to ask...but can you watch Cooper for me. I need to be here with Clint and-" she started and Natasha gave the brunette a reassuring smile
"Of course I can" she replied

As Natasha entered the Barton's household with Cooper in tow she looked around the small house that was once full of laughter and light banters. Sighing Natasha set the keys in the tray near the front door before she sat Cooper down in his cradle and walked over to the kitchen to give him a bottle.
After feeding Cooper and cleaning the house Natasha found herself sitting on the couch watching 'The Nanny Diaries'. As she was enjoying the movie her phone buzzed and looking at the screen she found a text from her mother.
Monster 💀:
'You and Steve have a engagement photo shoot for vouge at 11 a.m. don't be late'
Nat 🕷️:
'I'll be there'
Putting her phone down Natasha let out a huff of frustration. Another photo shoot where her mother would belittle her on her appearance. Just as Natasha was about to turn off the TV and go to bed, her phone rang.
Groaning in annoyance she picked up the phone not even bothering to look at the contact number "what" she hissed
"Woah, someone's not happy" Steve teased on the other end of the line
Natasha furrowed her eyebrows as she pulled the phone away from her ear to look at the screen. "How'd you get this number" she asked as she put the phone back up to her ear
"You're mom thought it'd be appropriate for me to have your number. Seeing as how we'll be married soon" he replied
Natasha hummed
"How are you" he asked and Natasha could hear the general concern in his tone
"Um, I'm, uh, I'm okay" she replied as she looked at the little baby sleeping in his cradle
"You don't sound fine" he stated
Natasha scoffed "and since when were you able to read me"
"Since now" he replied "what's going on"
Natasha sighed "a friend of mine is in the hospital. The ICU" she replied as a single tear fell down her cheek that she quickly whipped away
"I'm sorry" he said sympathetically
"Um, I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow" she said
"See you tomorrow" he replied before hanging up
