Jeon Jungkook 24 years old, he was supposed to be in college or maybe he was supposed to be a graduating student on his major that he pursue— but destiny didn't get along with all of his plan... in just one blink of his eyes everything has changed...
Jungkook was busily fixing his things while his uncle Suhyuk helping him. "Are you really sure about this kook? I can still keep you here." Suhyuk said.
Jungkook stopped on folding his clothes, "yes, uncle. I don't want to be burden with you." Jungkook said smiling at his uncle, his uncle looked at him. "You do know that you are not. I promised to your parents that I will take good care of you." His uncle said. "And you did! Uncle you need to give yourself a time too— no one would like to marry you if they know that you have a nephew like me." Jungkook said.
"Kook. If he can't accept your condition I'd rather die being single and virgin." His uncle said.
"Are you?" Jungkook asked sounding like he was teasing his uncle well— his uncle was known for being a fuckboi but after Jungkook's parents died and the younger being blind Suhyuk has changed... to protect and tale good care of his only nephew.
"Yah! I am not— but for real if she can't accept you I'd rather be single forever!" Suhyuk said Jungkook chuckled. "Thank you samchon, for guiding and protecting me all those years." Jungkook said and opened his arms asking for a hug. Suhyuk then hugged him. "I'm really proud of you and I'm they are more proud... I will accept this decision of yours but as soon as I get a bad news or you got hurt for leaving alone you will come back here and stay with me again." Suhyuk said as he softly tapped the younger's back.
"Thank you samchon... for always understanding and giving me chance to prove myself." Jungkook said smiling.
Just like that Jungkook moved in an apartment in Busan. Suhyuk helped him fixing the whole place making it very eco friendly for the younger... mostly of the appliances were made for people like Jungkook— gladly 2022 is more hi-tech...
He heard a doorbell— without his white cane help he can walk his self to the door entrance— how? Well he asked his uncle practice him for a week— yes. It's been. Week since he stayed here... "who is it?" Jungkook talking to the small speaker in a monitor— his uncle installed a speaker outside his dooor so he can ask people who visits him.
"Your awesome uncle— now open the door so I can cook lunch." Suhyuk said, Jungkook chuckled at his own uncle's words... he opened the door for his uncle.
"I bought the rice cake you mentioned to me..." he said then hold Jungkook's hand so he can hold them.
"I will give it to the people around here in this floor. "Do you need me? Let me cook and—"
"Samchon? It's okay. I am fine I can manage no need to baby me. I also have my phone that can recognize everything." He said and showed his phone— yes there is an app for blind people wherein for them to be assisted they need to open their camera and there will be someone to assist them while they are walking... so it is like they still can see the world with the use of gadget—
He knocked on the door 401... "hello? My name is Jeon Jungkook I just moved here." He said the door was opened he guess that it was a woman because of the flower like perfume that he can smell— he kinda remember his mom with the smell. He smiled—
"Oh—" the woman said as he noticed Jungkook's situation. Jungkook smiled. "Please take good care of me. Thank you." Jungkook said. "Thank you." The woman said. "My name is Kim Chae Yon, I think I'm the longest tenant here. You can call me noona— that would be nice than calling me ahjumma." She said chuckling. Jungkook chuckled too— he kinda remember his samchon wanted to be called hyung rather than samchon. "Okay Chae Yon noona." Jungkook said smiling.
Jungkook then moved on the door 402 to knock but no one was there so he just left the sticky rice at the front door, he went to room 403, and there he heard a two boys bickering, "this is why I want a divorce." He heard. Jungkook stepped back, "Hoseok, why can't you—"
"Shhh! Kim Namjoon— I'm done." Then Hoseok left and went to the other door Hoseok found the rice cake that Jungkook left— and there the Hoseok guy came back to his senses that he was quite being rude not to notice the younger in front of them.
"I ah— I am sorry to interrupt but I'm Jeon Jungkook— I just moved at room 405, please take good care of me." Jungkook said and bowed his head.
"Ah— thank you." The other boy said he guess it was the Namjoon. "My name is Kim Namjoon and right here is my husband... I am sorry if you need to see that—" his husband almost knocked his head.
"He is blind." Hoseok whispered Jungkook chuckled. "I didn't— but I heard everything... if you are having some arguments separation is not the answer..." Jungkook said smiling at them.
Hoseok and Namjoon both looked at each other. "Okay fine let's talk." Hoseok said then went inside first. Jungkook heard it so he lowkey smiled hearing it makes him feel eased...
He knocked on the room 404 but no one answered so he left the rice cake there again he smiled— he knows his stay here will go well too. He went back to his apartment and his lunch was ready. He can smell the food lingering inside.
"What can you say about the food?" His uncle asked curiously well Suhyuk learned many things because of Jungkook.
"You can find your bride now, your cooking skills is 10/10" Jungkook said smiling proudly with his samchon.
"Yah! You bunny, why you always ask me to get married?" He asked sounding like he was offended.
"Because you are old." Jungkook answered and laughed.
"Yah! I'm not the old!" Suhyuk answered full of defense.
"Samchon, you are half way 80." Jungkook answered back and he really loves to tease his samchon.
"But, thank you for the meal— it's the best!" Jungkook said.
Later that day, Jungkook started his daily podcast— yes he works as a faceless podcaster... he sometimes cover a song or sometimes gives some random advices from some questions he left his social media.
"I love seeing nature... but after what happened to me because of so much stress in work and life I am blind now— they said I got this because of trauma... and I may or may not get back my eye vision..."
"H—hello?" Jungkook just woke up after a week of his coma—
"W—where am I— w—why it— it's so d—ark? Mom? Dad?" Jungkook said stuttering he was about to cry— when his uncle hugged him.
"Kook— close your eyes—"
"Samchon! Samchon why— why it is so dark in here? W—what's happening? I— I can't see—" Jungkook was too staggered to process what was happening to him— he knows— it was not normal— he knows something happens to his eyes.
As soon as Jungkook heard that he was blind he asked them to leave him alone— he wants to be alone... just like that they left him— being told that his parents died and he is the only survivor and he was blind— makes him feel so weak—
"Why am I still here?" He asked... he started walking outside his room— a nurse asked him... "mr. Jeon—"
"Can you please help me go upstairs? I want to be at the rooftop I need some fresh air..." Jungkook said. "Please." Jungkook added he sounds so pleading and needing it— so the nurse assisted him.
"Thank you— please stay behind me for awhile." Jungkook said he just want to feel the fresh air— even if he can't see anything at the rooftop he wants to feel the cold breeze of spring here at the rooftop... he knows no one was here if he started walking straight he can just end it easily— so he followed his guts— he started walking straight till he can bumped to a rails— but his head was bumped by something soft— he touched it it was a body— masculine— "ah ex—"
"You should be at least grateful that you were given a second chance to live— I don't know what happened to you... but think about this way— there are people who were asking for more time... but they weren't given a chance because it was their time already— and you— you are here standing— you maybe lost one of the most important sense— but remember you are not the only one who experienced it— there are many of you fighting for this." The boy said— Jungkook blinked his eyes... as if he can see— he doesn't understand it... but there was a sudden light when the boy started talking to him and giving him some words... that giving so much point— it was never their choice— but they are still there fighting... Jungkook started crying— oh yeah it was one thing he didn't do— he maybe cried awhile ago but it was because he was scared now— it was purely sadness... and loneliness...
Jungkook snapped out from his spacing out when someone ring the doorbell on his door— so he asked siri what time was it— it was middle in the night— so he went out to his room and walk to the kitchen to get some pan—
He pressed the button. "Hello, ah thank you for this. I am the one who stay at room 405. Have a nice stay. Bye." He said then just like that the boy from door 405 left. Jungkook felt like he wants to roll his eyes— like boy could have told his name, he got cut on his spacing out just because a cold voice thank you and a cold welcome? He made a hmp sound then went to his room to start the podcast again.
"I know you will do great 4 years from now." The boy said— Jungkook was too comfortable with the boy being around...

I'm sorryyy I told you that I'll update it the next day but it took me so long to comebacc had a long week cuz another task was added on my work then me is so tired like update in just one seat— like after publishing the book I literally make some small update on todays chapter hehehehe here issa not so long update ~ hope you will like it 💕✨
