VALENTINA POV:
It's been a couple of weeks and a lot has happened.
To start, Vinnie finally asked out Ivy on a date 2 weeks ago and now they're finally dating.
We all went to the beach with our partners including Xavier and lucas
Speaking of dates I have gone on more dates in 3 weeks than I ever had in my entire life
Nico took me everywhere and when I say everywhere I mean it
He took me shopping, fruit picking, the beach, etc
He's the best boyfriend I could ever ask for
I also finally finished my project with Valery
Every time she came over she would always "accidentally" try to go up to the third floor
At first, I shrugged it off but after a while I just let her use my bathroom even if it was messy so she wounds top trying to go up
She also somehow found out about my party
Flashback
Both me and Valery were working on our project on our computers when she brings up my birthday
"You're having a birthday party right?"
"Yeah?" I said in a question form because I was surprised she even knew about my party when I have never even talked about it in front of her
"What's your theme color?"
"Red"
"OMG REALLY? Red looks so good on me don't be jealous if I outshine you and steal your man" she laughs off
"Um okay"
"It was a joke don't be so sensitive"
I guess now she's coming even though I didn't invite her
Flashback over
Other than that I also hung out with my family and went shopping with my aunts and ivy for my dress
I bought the most beautiful dress, It was a red sleeveless corset dress
When I tried it on at the store I knew it was the one
as I was looking at my dress I was snapped out of my daze by a knock on the door
"Come in" I shout
"Your boyfriend downstairs" Roman mumbles
Ever since I started dating Nico all my brothers have been VERY pouty
"Thanks for telling me roro," I say kissing him on the cheek hoping that will cheer him up
He gives me a soft smile and we walk together to the entrance
All my brothers were there glaring at Nico as if he stole something precious from them
Nico had his back facing me so I decided to joke with him
I go up from behind him and jump on him
"Hi babe"
"Hi love," he said before giving me a kiss
"Alright that's enough kissing" roman mumbles
"Agreed" the rest mutter
I just laugh but get off Nico back
"Val I can always give you a piggyback ride don't gotta use HIS back," Vinnie says
"I'll keep that in mind, anyways what are you doing here?" I ask Nico
"I thought we could hang out today"
"AGAIN?" Elijah yells
Ignore Elijah comment and say
"Sure let me get ready"
I run up the stairs and quickly go through my closet until I was satisfied with the outfit
once I was done I run down the stairs
"Tell dad that I am going out with Nico," I tell Xavier
He nods in understatement
I bid goodbye to all my brothers with a kiss on the cheek after I was done saying goodbye Nico and I walked out with our hands linked
"Where are we going?"
"That's a secret" he smirks
Every time I ask where we are going he says it's a 'secret'
I roll my eyes but follow him to the car

NEVER let nico guide you when you're blindfolded
I almost died 3 times because he didn't warn me about anything
"Alright you can open them now"
When I opened my eyes I saw a blanket on the floor with a bunch of my favorite foods and drinks around
I turn around and put my hands around Nico's waist pulling him into a hug
"Thank you" I mumble into his chest
"Ofc ангел now shall we eat?"
We talked and talked for hours until it was dark
"Oh wow time passes by so fast," I say
"It only felt like an hour, to be honest"
"What time is it?" I ask
"11:53"
"Hm" is all I say
I put my head on Nico's shoulder and lay there for a bit
It was quiet but a peaceful quiet
"Can I ask you something ?" I ask
"sure"
"When did you realize you liked me?"
"The day I laid eyes on you, specifically when you looked at me"
"what do you mean when I looked at you"
"When you looked at me I saw fierceness but a mixture of sadness. at that moment I just wanted to protect you but when I watched you from afar I knew that you didn't need anyone to protect you but even then I just wanted to be by you"
I didn't know what to say or what to do
"Thank you," I say
"For what?"
"Because you showed me what love was, I mean I had my families love but that is different from lovers love and you showed me what a lovers love is"
"Actually when I was a 15 I was in a relationship with this guy. At first, he was nice and caring but after he turned emotionally abusive and manipulative. I didn't wanna accept that he was a bad person but after he cheated on me I snapped out of my daze and then broke up with him, after that, I didn't trust anyone with my heart but I first you with it I just hope you won't take advantage of it" I confess
Nico hugs me right and whispers
"Thank toy for trusting me"
I give him a soft smile when suddenly fireworks go off
I look at the fireworks in awe
When I turn to see if nico was watching too he held out a necklace
"Happy birthday my love"
