when we finished eating we went on more rides
"wanna go on the Ferris wheel before we leave?" Nico asks

VALENTINA POV:
The line was pretty long that once we got to the front of the line there was only one cart left
"Ladies first" Nico jokes
"Then you should be going first," I say giving him a smug look
As soon as we both got into our seats the ride started
I hold onto the seat gulping in fear
I am scared of heights
"How many times is it going to go around?" I ask hoping it would just be once or twice
"Probably around 3-5 times since it's a pretty big Ferris wheel"
In my head, I was freaking out but on the outside, I put on a nonchalant expression
it was a bit quiet after a little too quiet for my liking
"Look everyone looks like little ants from here," I say trying to make conversation
"They do," Nico says looking down
"Tell me something no one knows," Nico asks
"That currently right now the left side of my ribs are broken but they don't hurt that much because I been taking pain killers as if they were candies and also because this isn't the first time my kidnapper broke my ribs"
is what I should have said but instead, I said
"I am terrified of heights"
"What? why didn't you tell me? I wouldn't have suggested going on the Ferris wheel if I knew you were afraid of heights" Nico said worriedly
"Because it looked like you wanted to go on the Ferris wheel and I didn't wanna ruin the date" I confess
"Hold on once we get to the bottom I'll tell the worker to let us off early"
"Nico it's fine besides I have you here with me"
"You sure?" Nico asks not fully convinced
"Positive," I say with a smile
"Liar your legs have been shaking this entire time, you don't have to act tough around me ангел"

"Okay maybe I am not 100% fine but I'll be okay"
He stares at me for a while trying to figure out if I was okay and I guess he was satisfied with my expression because he then changed the topic
"When's your birthday?" he asks
"June 21"
"Your birthday is in a month?"
"Yeah when's yours?"
"March 3"
"Oh, it's already past?"
"Yeah I don't really do anything for my birthday besides getting a cake for myself," he says shrugging it off
