Third person POV
Several months have passed since Beerus came to Earth, and in those months Goku and Vegeta began training with Whis.
Vegeta and Goku had been in Whis's staff for a few hours before Whis let them out, after both took a Senzu Bean, Y/n noticed that they had become a good bit stronger than they were.
Y/n: Goku, Vegeta... Your power has increased dramatically since the day my father came to Earth. Have you two both mastered Super Saiyan God?
Goku smiles and nods his head.
Goku: Yeah, we can use Super Saiyan God whenever we want now.
Vegeta: But we've also ascended to a power beyond Super Saiyan God.
Y/n raises a brow, curious.
Y/n: Stronger than Super Saiyan God, huh? What do you even call that? Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan?
Goku and Vegeta glance at each other, embarrassed.
Y/n deadpans at the duo.
Y/n: I was being sarcastic, is that actually what you call it??
Goku: It's a long name, he's got a fair point.
Vegeta: Then what would you have us call the form?
Y/n: Show it to me.
Goku and Vegeta nod and power up, a blue aura enveloping them before they're revealed in their new form.
Y/n studies them for a moment, then shrugs.
Y/n: Super Saiyan Blue?
Goku: Yeah, that's a lot easier to say than Super Saiyan God Sup- Ow!
Goku exclaims after biting his tongue.
Vegeta: Whatever...
Y/n: I would like to test your power, actually! How about a spar?
Vegeta: Heh, you won't beat us so easily twice!
Goku: Yeah! We're not going down so easily this time!
Y/n: Come on then, show me what this Super Saiyan Blue form can do!
Goku and Vegeta revert to base and look at each other.
Goku: I'm fighting him first.
Vegeta: What?! No, you're not!
Y/n sighs and powers up.
Y/n: Come at me at the same time or I'll just destroy you!
The duo seem disappointed, but return to Super Saiyan Blue before rushing Y/n, throwing a barrage of punches and kicks at the son of Beerus, but he dodges all of their attacks effortlessly.
Y/n: Let's stop playing around and get a little serious!
He powers up, a golden aura engulfing him before he is revealed in Super Saiyan.
Y/n: Thanks to our trip to Earth, I picked this up. Now I too am a Super Saiyan, my Ultra Ego power is vastly superior, but I think limiting myself is much more fair.
He smirks, which pisses Vegeta off who then fires a point blank Big Bang attack at Y/n who catches the blast with one hand and destroys it with ease.
Goku: You're wide open!
He swings at Y/n from the side, but Y/n catches his fist and slams him into the ground.
Y/n: You do realize that telling your opponent something like that is stupid, right? You give your enemy plenty of time to react when you scream out that their guard is down.
Goku groans and Vegeta kicks Y/n in the face as hard as he can, knocking him backwards.
Y/n grins and laughs.
Y/n: See? That was much more effective!
He powers up into a Super Saiyan 2.
Vegeta: Unbelievable, he's already reached Super Saiyan 2... What a prodigy.
Y/n: Huh? Super Saiyan isn't that big of a deal, I'm honestly cutting you guys some slack.
In an instant, he disappears and reappears behind Vegeta before kneeing him in the back, knocking the wind out of him, then Goku Instant Transmissions next to Vegeta and throws a punch at Y/n, who catches his fist.
Vegeta: Cocky bastard...!
He kicks Y/n away and he and Goku start throwing punches at the hybrid, landing hits occasionally and slowly gaining the upper hand before Y/n powers up again, knocking them back a bit.
With a roar, Y/n powers up into a Super Saiyan 3.
Y/n: Alright, you've pushed me to Super Saiyan 3... Good job.
Goku and Vegeta pant before they throw a punch at Y/n at the same time, but Y/n stands stock still, letting the attacks hit him dead on. Their punches had no affect, he didn't budge an inch.
Y/n: I hope this has been an eye opener, you two have a long way to go. Hell, this was an eye opener for me as well. I can go further beyond, and so can you.
Goku and Vegeta move their hands and nod.
Y/n: However, I have one last idea before we finish this sparring session.
The Saiyan duo look at each other when Y/n calls Whis over.
Whis: How is my star student doing?
Y/n: Fine, thanks for asking... Hope you can say the same, but I've never seen you not okay. Anyways, I was wondering...
Whis: Yes?
Y/n: Could you do something to help Goku an Vegeta work better together? Better coordination and what not.
Whis: Hm... I can think of one way.
He waves his staff and a pair of Potara earrings appear, which he holds out to Goku and Vegeta.
Whis: Are you two familiar with these?
Goku: Yeah! Those are Potara! You want us to fuse?
Vegeta: I'd rather die! I don't want to join bodies with this buffoon!
Whis: Now hold on a second, let me explain. These aren't just your average, run of the mill Potara. These are Angel grade.
Goku: Is that why they look kinda different from the Supreme Kai's?
Whis: Indeed, these will let you two remain fused for as long as you want, and you'll only defuse after you choose to.
Vegeta: ... Then maybe.
Goku: C'mon Vegeta! Don't you wanna see how strong Y/n is compared to Fusion?
Vegeta sighs and holds his hand out for a Potara.
Whis then hands a Potara to Vegeta and Goku, Goku was much more eager and had the earring on his ear in a few seconds, but Vegeta stared at it before finally giving in and putting it on his opposite ear. Then the earrings glow before Goku and Vegeta collide into each other, creating an even larger, brighter beam of light before it slowly dies down, revealing their Fusion.
Fusion: Kakarot and Vegeta combined, I'm the Fusion known as Vegito! And here's something new - Vegito Blue!
Y/n smirks and powers up, his aura flaring.
Y/n: Alright then, let's go Vegito!
