Raj: Seema! where is my medicine?
Seema: Papa I already have it packed, aur thoda check karo..
Gaurav: Seema! why are the kids still not ready?
Seema: Gaurav you have only one wife and she can do one job at a time.
Gaurav: wow, idea is good
Seema: Try Karo, papa now a days the kids in our society call him as Gaurav Uncle..
Raj: Chodo Seema ( Gaurav smiles looking at his wife)
Anand: Gaurav bhaiya, aaj bhi romance?
Gaurav: Did you hear your bhabi? She is asking me to marry one more girl to help her, how can i say no to her order?
Seema: Yesterday I asked you to get me a cup of water, but you ran away but today you seem to obey your wife. What a change?
Gaurav: Maaf karo meri maa , you are my only wife and life
Anand: Aww romantic....
Seema: we are gonna get late and Kunal bhaiya is gonna kill us all.
Siddhi was still sitting in her room, she had no clue on where her destiny is leading her nor why she is still with Kunal Chopra. Maybe a tiny part of heart still belives that Kunal loves her somewhere.
Raj(knocks the partially opened door): Siddhi beta!
Siddhi: come in papa,(gets up from the bed)
Raj: everyone is waiting for Kunal , where is he beta?
Siddhi: Is Kunal not at home papa?
Raj: No beta, I thought he would have told you
Siddhi: No papa
Raj( about to leave) : Beta, do you remember your Patna trip? When we all where at daduji's place and you were passing via our place?
Siddhi : Haan papa, how can i forget? The only family outing that we had and i missed it.
Raj: Kunal knew that you would eventual come home in 3 days but he still came to see you at that Junction. He traveled 2 hours to meet you me , just for the sake of 2 mins of your time.
Siddhi: Papa..aap kyun yeh sab ..
Raj: beta Kunal doesn't express his feelings or emotions very easily nor he is good at it. He is a very good lawyer , can rule the court with his speech but when it comes to his loved ones he cant. Give him some time beta he will realize his mistake. Im telling this not because im his father but you are my daughter and i would be the first person to stand when a wrong is done to you even if the other person is my son.
Siddhi hugs Raj: Thanks papa..
Raj: Chalo, get ready happily...
Kunal arrives 10 mins before they depart,..
Seema: Papa, the car has arrived come lets take these bags..
Raj: Kunal!! What took so long?
Kunal: Some court work papa
Raj: Go get your bags and also call Siddhi, we will wait out.
Kunal : Haan papa..
Sinal Room
The ambience was dark, sad and so was her state, and now Kunal has now come in to cast his shadow in the room
Kunal: Siddhi ( probably the first time in the week that he calls her by his name willingly)
Siddhi: haan boliyae ( Can she avoid this man despite what she went through?)
Kunal: I need a help, actually a sign. I have been thinking of this for a week
Siddhi: Sign? for the trip?
Kunal(shows her the divorce papers): oh no, for this
Siddhi: div..orce?
Kunal: yeah this is fo...(someone interrupts)
Seema: Bhaiya jalati aaja ( Siddhi hides the papers in a jiff in her bag)
Seema pulls Siddhi and Kunal's bag to make them hurry, Kunal leave with Seema carrying one of the bags
Siddhi's pov:
Divorce? He didnt even have the slightest of a hesitation, what kind of human is he? Help? Am i burdening him with my presence here? A few minutes back when papa told me that he travlled for hours to meet may I thought may be somewhere this man loves me but no this man doesn't even have empathy as little as grain of sand.
Seema: Siddhi! Siddhi...
Siddhi: Haan bhabhi..
Seema: Im so excited for the trip, why are you just standing, come lets go. Else we will miss the flight
Siddhi(mind voice): my flight has already left without me
They reached manali around 6 pm, the temperature has begun dropping down enough to pull even two stranger nearer but Siddhi did not even let Kunal touch her bag. Her eyes were firing Kunal every possible way. The Chopras reached the guest house by 7 and the house was lit as a palace.
Gaurav: Bhaiya, are we at the right place? This place looks too costly for us
Kunal: This is the place, come!!
Anand: But bhai! this looks awesome and looks like a private villa
Kunal: Actually its kind of. This belongs to one of my clients and he owns me a big time, and he wishes to pay his fee as a accomodation.
Gaurav: Why do I not get such a sort of boss?
Kunal: Isnt your boss Seema's dad?
Gaurav: Ouch.. matlab...
Seema: Kya bolo Gaurav..
Gaurav: Kuch nehi.. Arey Siddhi kuch bolo or this bhabi of yours will though me out in snow
Siddhi: What happened? ( Everyone one looks dazzled at siddhi, she is generally a good listener)
Anand: What happened siddhi? Are you not well? ( Kunal is slightly uncomfortble for unknown reasons)
Siddhi: I think its travel tiredness, I should be fine by morning, aap log jinta mat..
Raj: Haan beta, chalo.. Kunal where is your room, Give the keys to Siddhi soon..
Kunal: This is for you (distributes key to everyone) , and everyone come down for food exactly in one hour. Dont be late
Siddhi: Bhabi! please dont wait for me, im not hungry and im feeling uneasy. ..
Seema: Do you want something light to eat?
Siddhi: No bhabi , I have fruits with me incase.. I will see you tomorrow..
Seema: Take care..
Siddhi rushes to her allocated room...
The room looks romantic in a way, but there were no eyes to appreciate it. A huge bed for a single person, mountain view, romantic candles but unlit.
But she definitely wanted this room, she was not able to even cry by herself. Kunal didnt even try to give a few minutes to realize or weep for what happened. She threw herself on the bed after latching the door and cried as loud as no one can hear. .. Sleep gave her a temporary relief from the pain she was going through but not for long enough.
Someone kept knocking her door, she looked at the watch set next to her and it was 11 45 pm. She pulled herself to open the door with a heavy heart and a tired body.
Siddhi: aap?
Kunal: Haan,
Siddhi: So you are gonna stay here?
Kunal: Where do you think I would stay?
Siddhi: I dont know, where ever you stayed last week. ( Kunal certainly didnt have an answer for that nor he understood his wife's agony)
Kunal: Do you wanna have sometime to eat?
Siddhi: What am I dreaming? Is that you asking or did someone ask you to do so?
Kunal: My bad, i shouldnt have asked you anything.
