I took a deep breath before walking up the steps like nothing happened "ahh just in time you 2 it's about to start" I gave her a small smile "sorry it took so long ma'am" she shook it head
"no Izuku your ok I know it going to the bathroom takes a while just take your seat"
With a small nod I took my seat next to Denki and watched as all the students start coming out on the field but I held back my smile when I saw Kaachan and I could tell that he was looking me
"Alright everyone welcome to the second years sports festival"
Everyone clapped including me but I was clapping for Kaachan "let's welcome our first place winner from last year Katsuki Bakugo" I watched as he did his usual stomp walk up to the stage and snatched the microphone from Midnight
"I'll come into first place again and beat all you extras"
Everyone laughed while I just chuckled -at least your attitude didn't change- Midnight took the microphone from Kaachan and shooed him off stage as she continued her speech before Present Mic took over
"OK EVERYONE WE'RE START OFF EASY WITH A LITTLE RACE"
I watched as everyone got into position as one the gates on the field start to open "GO" of course Kaachan used his quirk to fly past everyone and get in first place and of course I stared to cheer like everyone else but I made sure to keep my excitement down
"IN FIRST PLACE IS KATSUKI BAKUGO"
I smiled brightly as I watch the duel tone alpha use his ice and slide up behind Kaachan but just as they came out of the tunnel Kaachan was hit to the ground while the duel tone boy tried to stop in time before he was stepped on
-come on Kaachan get up-
I could hear Kaachan growling as he stood and wiping the little blood from his mouth and the duel tone boy froze the whole robot and made it shadder in pieces "I'll fucking win first place" with one last growl Kaachan used his quirk to make himself spin around then towards the robot that hit him and made it explode as he used it to propel him even further ahead

I cheered along with everyone else "KATSUKI IS NOW FURTHER AHEAD WITH SHOTO TODOROKI HOT ON HIS TAIL"
I smiled more
