Luke: You heard Luke grumble as he adjusted his tie in the mirror next to you as you applied mascara.
"Hurry up," he barked. You threw your mascara tube on the counter and grabbed your clutch.
"Let's just go and get this over with," you replied, frustrated.
This was stupid: he just couldn't apologize for being a dick when you told him you had run into an ex today and had lunch. Jealous prick.
At the Billboard Awards, you and Luke held hands and smiled for the cameras and his friends/fellow peers. The boys won 'Best New Artist' and like a supportive girlfriend, you stood and clapped and pecked Luke on the lips. While they each took turns saying something, you began to over think and got upset all over again, tears beginning to form in your eyes. It was your fault, you guessed. You shouldn't of been with your ex...maybe...you gave up and buried your head in your hands. Luke glanced over at you and a sudden guilty look took over his face. When it was his turn, he took a deep breath and sighed.
"Thanks so much for this award. Truly. I can't believe what this means to us. I wanna thank my family and my puppy and my brothers here, and Y/N. She's been my rock and through this entire journey she's been with me and taken my bullshit like none other. I love you baby." Ashton clapped him on the back. You stood when they came back to their seats and kissed him soundly.
"I love you." you whispered.
"I love you too."
Michael: You two went at it all afternoon and into the evening.
"I will, okay?!" He hissed as he turned a corner. You two had been invited, along with the other guys, to a party to celebrate All Time Low's album release. Michael was driving, and you were in the passenger seat, though tonight, you would've loved to be anywhere but there.
"That's what you said last time I asked. I'm sick and tired of animals getting into the flowers."
"I've been busy! I don't exactly have free time to build a goddamn fence around your stupid garden." You forced yourself to hold your tongue and not argue with him anymore since you were now at the venue. Alex greeted you guys outside and said the rest of the guys were already here. You went straight to the bar to drink your sorrows away while Alex introduced the guys to his managers and producers.
Alex's girlfriend and Rian's girlfriends were right on their arms. You smiled at their happiness. You and Michael had been having problems recently and you knew if it kept going on someone would break it off.
The music suddenly changed and Mayday's 'I Swear This Time I Mean It' began to play. People scattered on the dance floor. "
C'mere," Michael said as he put your drink on the bar and took your hand to bring you out to the dance floor.
"Michael," you protested as he wrapped his arms around your waist. You have up and wrapped yours around his neck. He leaned down and began to kiss your neck.
"I'm sorry." He whispered against your skin. You buried your head in his chest and smiled.
"So am I. I can get bitchy."
"And I can get lazy." You smiled at each other, the moment perfect......until Jack came over to steal Michael from you.
Ashton: "Just drop it, Y/N!"
"No! I want to know why Calum called and asked to hang out with YOU told me you were already with him. Where were you?"
"God you're so controlling! Maybe I shouldn't even...never mind." Ashton yelled as he opened the front door to reveal Michael,Calum,and Luke in their best award show attire(flannels and tees because that's our boys!), matched with Ashton. You had a cocktail dress on, pure black. You followed and got into the limo with them. You sat next to Calum instead of taking the empty seat next to Ashton. Calum looked at Mike and Luke and shrugged as if saying: they're at it again.
You all arrived at the VMAs and got out. You and Ashton grabbed each other's hands and put on a 'we're happy' look. Right when you got inside and got you seats, you tried to remove your hand from Ashton's grasp but he held onto you tight as Jared Leto and Shakira took the stage.
A few hours later: "And the best new music video in the pop/punk genre is: 5 seconds of summer, don't stop!" Adam Levine announced.
Everyone cheered as the boys took the stage. They said their normal thanks and such but Ashton took the mic again from Adam.
"I want my girlfriend up here for a second," he said. You slowly stood up and went up on stage.
"Ashton, what the fuck-" you hissed but he ignored you.
"Babe, you are so goddamn annoying sometimes and no I'm not going to tell you where I am every second of the day, but damn me I love you so much. And if you must know, I was at the jeweler's...for this." And he got down on his knee and took out a small ring. Blue sapphire. Tears flooded your eyes as you said yes. Everyone stood and cheered. God he was fucking annoying too...but he is forever yours.
Calum: You were hooking an earring into place as Calum came out into the living room.
"You're overreacting," he said. You rolled your eyes. No, you weren't. Calum wanted to flirt with other girls, fine. What wasn't fine was when they began putting their grubby hands on him and he did nothing about it. He never told anyone he had a girlfriend, ever.
Well, wait. When another guy had the audacity to say hello to you, that's when he could go caveman and claim you as his. Pure asshole. Ashton picked you guys up in his car and you all went to the '5 Seconds of Summer' album launch party.
You felt as if Calum's touched burned as you two held hands and mingled as if nothing was wrong.
"You guys wanna dance?" Luke asked as The Rolling Stones began to boom from the speakers. You shook your head and so did Calum. You guys were left alone...bad idea.
"Why do you stick yourself with me?" You asked, the awkward silence broken.
"What?" He said, putting his drink down.
"You never tell anyone I'm your girlfriend. That's why girls think it's okay to flirt with you. And I don't want that. If you don't want me-"
"I fucking love you, Y/N. Those girls may flirt with me but at the end of everything, I am all and completely yours."
"Then why don't you ever-" but he cut you off again and went up to the podium and took the mic from the DJ.
"I just want to tell everyone in the room here that Y/F/N is the love of my life and no other girl compares to her. Thank you." When he sauntered back to the table, damned pleased with himself, you hit his shoulder, laughs tickling your throat.
"You cheeky asshole."
"But I'm your cheeky asshole."
