I was at a party. Aidan Brown's party, to be exact. I was searching for Lucas, wanting only to see him.

I snuck outside and to the back of the house, and climbed up a tree. I peeked inside the bedroom window, seconds later wishing I hadn't. I lost my grip on the tree, falling down. I hit the ground, sobbing not because I was in physical pain, but mental pain. Questions ran through my mind: Did I bore him? Was I not enough? Did he ever love me?
I cried, and cried, until I had no tears left. The party was over, but there in the grass I was. It was dark out, and the air was cold. It was oddly silent as only one thing ran through my head:
