Sarada POV:
I woke up to my alarm going off, so I got out of bed and got ready as I had a mission today, today my hair wasn't cooperating so it took extra time to get ready, I was going to be late so I just skipped breakfast and quickly said bye to mama and walked to the meeting grounds...
To my absolute surprise, the blond Baka was on time,
"Wow, didn't expect you to be on time..."I teased him
"Yeah whatever, where's Mitsuki and sensei?"he asked
Out of nowhere...
"You two make a good couple..."Mitsuki said while scaring the life Chaka out of me and Boruto...
"You have to stop that, you're gonna give people a heart attack,"yelled Boruto
"Sorry I'm late guys, lord 7th was going to give you guys a C-rank mission but decided on a B-rank that will be a long trip to the hidden sand village,"sensei said while appearing out of thin air,
"You have 2 hours to pack, meet me at the gates at 11 o'clock sharp..."than he disappeared...
Timeskip to 10:45...
Boruto's POV:
I don't know what came over me but for the last week all I wanted was to be at least on time, so I went to the gates packed and ready 15 minutes early, not even Sarada is here yet, I ran through my stuff again for the 32nd time to see that everything is there and sighed a breathe of relief, suddenly a familiar voice spoke,
"Your early, that's rare..."exclaimed my black haired teammate Sarada,
"People change, and I'm trying hard not to screw up..."I explained to her "There is nothing more painful than to fail someone who put trust in you..."
Sarada's POV:
"There is nothing more painful than to fail someone who put trust in you..."Boruto explained...
What the heck t did I just hear, did he just say a quote!And why when does it have to be depressing...I thought to myself with my mouth gapping from the words that came out of his mouth, do I have to remind you, he is one of if not the most stupid person in the village that I know, and I know a lot of people...
"Sarada... are you ok?"boruto asked me
"Oh, I'm fine, I just spaced out,"I assured him
"Sorry to keep you guys waiting, and sorry I just rented 3 tents, so one of us has to sleep outside or share it with someone..."explained sensei
"Hello, did I miss anything?"Mitsuki said while the rest of us almost got a panic attack,
Timeskip to somewhere about 5 pm...
Boruto's POV:
It was getting dark, and I don't think the others have noticed,
"Hey guys, its getting dark, we should set up camp..."I asked them
They agreed and we started setting up camp, Mitsuki and sensei was in charge of tents, Sarada was in charge of food, and I was in charge of the fire...
After about 1 hour everything was set up and we already ate, and everyone was getting tired so we decided to hit the hay,
"I'll sleep outside..."I suggested
"No you're not...
Sarada POV:
"I'll sleep outside..."
What the flip, no way he's sleeping outside, in this weather and in the middle of nowhere...
"No you're not, no way you're sleeping outside, in this weather and in the middle of nowhere, are you crazy!"I said without thinking
"Than what do you suggest?"he asked
"You can share it with me..."I said without processing what came out of my mouth
The moment that I realise what I just said, I started blushing to the colour of my glasses,
"T-that's n-no—"
"S-sure, I appreciate that..."Boruto answered before I could explain,
When I looked back at him, he was slightly blushing, but you wouldn't be able to identify it if he didn't hide his face in embarrassment...
Timeskip to when only Boruto and Sarada was awake...
Readers' POV(mostly gonna be them talking):
Sarada and Boruto is sitting together in the tent...
"So, Sarada, why didn't you just let me sleep outside..."
"Because you might 1) get sick 2)do something stupid 3) get hu—"
"Than you could've just make me share a tent with sensei or Mitsuki, but why did you have to suggest sharing you own tent..."
"It was the first thing that came to mind and..."blushes
"And?"
"I-I wanted to spend time with you..."blushing many shades of red
"I-I..."too shocked cause of her answer
"I-I'm just gonna go to sleep..."
Than the blue eyed boy laid on his side facing the opposite side from Sarada and tries to sleep...
Timeskip to the middle of the night...
Boruto POV:
*ground shakes*
*wakes up*
Huh, what's going on?
Tries to get up but feels something holding on to his hand, turns to see what it is...SARADA!!!, she was holding on to his hand tightly and not letting go,I just looked in total shock, but the rumbling snapped me back to reality, he slowly took her off of his trying as head as he can not to wake her up, as he thought he had succeeded and was just about to get up...
"Boruto...where are you going?"Sarada asked me
"J-just going to the bathroom..."I had to lie to not make her worry
"Sure, I'll wait for you to come back..."she answered
WHAT!!!Wait for me to come back, since when would she do that...ok, I'll just go outside and do my business, while doing that, I'll try and see what's going on, if there's nothing, I'll just go back...
While walking to somewhere further from camp, I didn't want anyone to listen to me do my business...there was nothing going on, it's properly just me...
When I got back, I saw Sarada laying on the side facing where I use to sleep, the moment I step back into the tent, SHE WOKE UP!!!
She raised her arms up, signalling that I lay next to her so she could put her arms around me,WHAT THE QUACK!!!HUH!WHAT'S GOING ON, DID SHE HIT HER HEAD! I thought while laying next to her with my back against her, she just wrapped her arms around me with her hands on my chest, while snuggling her face on my back, I was blushing so much my whole face turned as red as a apple...
But finally I was able to fall asleep...
Timeskip to sunrise
Sarada's POV:
I woke up to a blushing sensei and smiling Mitsuki in the tent, than I felt like I was holding onto something, I was warm and comforting, so I just closed my eyes again and got on top of whatever it was and went back to sleep...
I woke up again but to someone saying something,
"S-sarada, please wake up, and get off of me..."said the blond haired boy
I opened my eyes and looked at what I was on...
BORUTO!!!WAIT WHAT, I WAS CUDDLING HIM AND WAS ON TOP OF HIM...
He was blushing very hard, like I could sense the heat from his face,
"Shut up...I wanna sleep..."I replied with my half-awake-half-asleep voice
And so...
I fell asleep on his chest once again...
Boruto's POV:
"Shut up...I wanna sleep..."she replied with her half-awake-half-asleep voice
I gave sensei the "Please help me..."look, and he understood it, and spoke,
"Sarada!Wake up, don't you remember, we have a mission to complete, plus, I think anymore of this, Boruto might turn into a tomato..."
She wasn't budging...
Timeskip to 11 am(after they got Sarada to get off of Boruto):
Boruto's POV:
It was awkward, thanks to Sarada refusing to get off of me for almost an hour, and the fact that sensei needed to pull the "Sasuke will behead Boruto"card, sends shivers up my spine, I barely look at Sarada for the journey until...
I feel the same shaking, but the others don't seem to feel it, but as we walked, the shaking became more intense, more so to the left,
"Hey guys, can we take a bathroom break?"I asked as a excuse to go see what's going on myself
"Sure!Besides we've been walking for hours, we should take a break..."answered sensei
But the moment I heard sure, I sprinted towards the sharking, I just kept running, I didn't care if there is someone following me of not, cause when you feel the same thing twice, its saying something...
I ran and ran, than I saw what was causing the sharking, It was like a devise, last night must be it landing...
Suddenly ,I activated, causing a trench to open, when that was happening, the caused a earthquake that I'm sure even uncle Neji could feel in heaven, it shook and shook, the trench was a deep, than at the bottom of it, I saw a portal like thing, but it was closer to a black hole...
Sarada POV:
I felt an earth quack, it was at Boruto's direction,
"Do you guys feel that?"I asked
"Yeah I do"sensei answered
"Isn't that the direction which Boruto went in"Mitsuki exclaimed
I sprinted towards the area, Baka Boruto, why do you always get yourself in trouble...
I ran and ran until I saw Boruto standing there eyes wide and thinking to do something, the moment he realised I was there,
"Sarada what are you doing here, RUN!"he demanded
"What about you?"I asked
"JUST GO, this is not a normal trench, there's a devise down there and it made a portal like thing down there..."Boruto explained
Then a crack creeped towards me, I wanted to run but my legs wouldn't budge, than it stated to open, then I fell in the trench, I felt something hold onto my hand,
"I told you to run!"Boruto said while gripping on to my arm
He lifted me up but the ground he was on started to crumble, than pushed me away from where he was, than he fell down the trench,
"BORUTO!"I yelled
