Seto's POV
'Love will break the spell, we can't have any of that now can we?' I wonder aloud.
'None of them will love, it will all be sadness, hatred.... perfect'
Jason's POV
Molly runs up to Kellie, tears running down her face.
'What happened!?' Kellie immediately comforts her.
'I-I think Mitch just...d-dumped me' she says between sobs.
'He what!?' Kellie exclaims 'why would he do that?'
'I-I don't know' Molly cries 'he just started shouting and freaking out'
'He did what now!?' Darcie marches up to us. 'that's it. he's a dead man' she says angrily.
'No Darcie... please' Molly says, still crying.
We all stay silent, trying to take in what Molly just told us.
'C'mon, lets go outside. calm down a bit' Darcie says.
She leads Molly outside leaving me and Kellie alone.
'Why did he do that?' she wonders aloud.
'I don't know' I say 'they seemed to be fine yesterday'
'You won't do that... will you?' she asks quietly.
'Of course I won't' I pull her into a hug.
'Promise?'
'Promise' I say.
Then I feel strange, I can't control what I do and before I know it I'm doing it.
'God. why are you so clingy!?' I yell.
She looks up a me with a shocked expression on her face.
'Jason...'
'Get away from me!' I push her back, making her stumble and almost fall over.
What am I doing!?
Tears start to form in her eyes.
'I'm sorry' is what I try to say, but instead I say,
'I don't know why I even liked you in the first place...'
The tears run down her face.
'What are you doing?' she asks quietly.
I keep trying to apologise but I can't.
'Get out of my sight'
'Fine' she says 'you don't want me here? I'll leave...' her voice cracks.
She turns around and begins to walk away.
I want to tell her to come back.
That I'm sorry, that I do love her but I can't.
What have I done?...
I feel myself change back.
As if I have control over what I do now.
'Kellie, wait!' I shout.
But she's already gone.
'Why are you crying?' I hear Megan ask Kellie from the hall.
Uh oh... I'm dead.
I can't hear what kellie's saying.
They both say nothing for a while.
'HE WHAT!?' Megan shouts.
I hear footsteps match towards me.
I'm dead.
'What the hell is wrong with you!?' she smacks me across the face.
'I didn't mean it!' I say, holding my face in my hand.
'How can you not mean something like that!?' she raises her hand to hit me again.
'Megan! what are you doing?' Roisin steps in.
'Jason made Kellie cry' Megan points to me.
Roisin slowly turns her head to look at me.
'Just because I'm in a good mood... you can have a three second head start' she says calmly.
'One...'
I immediately start running.
What happened?
Why was I acting like that?...
Lauren's POV
Today started out great,
And now... this.
Both Molly and Kellie are heartbroken and Mitch and Jason have locked themselves in their rooms so that they can hide from us.
Roisin walks in with a pissed off look on her face.
'What's wrong now?' I sigh.
'Adam refuses to let me kill Jason and Mitch' she says.
'You can't just kill them' I say.
'Why not?' she asks 'They deserve it after what they did!'
Laura walks in sits beside me.
She taps my shoulder to get my attention.
'Why is Kellie crying?' she asks.
I look over at Roisin.
She just shrugs.
'Uh..... she-um...' I try to think of what to say.
'She... fell over' Roisin says.
'Fell over?' Laura asks 'that's all?'
'That's all' I say 'she just really hurt herself'
'Well, why can't your new friend help her?' she asks 'Ty told me that he's magic'
'Magic?' Roisin asks.
'Magic' Laura nods.
'Why don't you go talk more about Seto with Ty?' I suggest.
'Okay' she says cheerily and skips off.
'Darcie! stop it!' I hear Perniya yell.
'Can't I at least stab him?' she asks.
'No!'
Perniya walks in, dragging Darcie behind her.
'I think that we should kill them... anyone else?' Darcie asks.
Roisin raises her hand.
'Then lets go!' she says and turns to walk away.
Perniya immediately pulls her back.
'You're not killing them' she says.
'How are they?' I ask referring to Molly and Kellie.
'Not too good' Perniya says.
'Why? what are they doing?' I ask.
'They're just staring into space saying nothing. they're heartbr-'
She's interrupted by Amy walking in, still half like a zombie.
'What's up with her?' Darcie whispers.
'No idea' I whisper back 'she's been acting like that all day'
'Amy... you okay?' Perniya says.
Amy shakes her head, as if she's only now realising where she is.
'What? What happened?' she asks looking around.
'You were just acting really strange' I say.
'I was?' she asks.
I nod 'yeah, you kept talking to yourself... are you sure you're okay?' I ask. 'maybe you should lie down'
'No, no I'm fine' she says.
She looks as thought she's thinking,trying to remember something.
She just shrugs and carries on walking.
'Okay then?...' Roisin says.
'What was that all about?' Perniya asks.
'I don't know, she's been acting really weird since she and Seto found eachother' I say.
'What's up with that anyway?' Roisin asks.
'Apparently they spawned together, but Ty told me that Amy never said anything about him' I say.
'Weird...' Roisin says.
'Yeah...'
We all decide to just do our own thing, so I decide to go see how Molly is.
'Molly?' I knock on her door.
'Come in' I barely hear her say.
I open the door.
'Hey, you doing okay?' I ask as I walk in to sit beside her on the bed.
She shakes her head.
'Not really'
'You wanna talk about?' I ask.
She shakes her head again.
'It'll be okay' I put a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
She sighs 'I just want to know why he did it... Out of nowhere he just-...' She can't finish her sentence before tears stream down her face.
I don't know what to say to her, so I don't say anything.
'Why did he do it Lauren?' she asks 'Is this it?... is it over?'
'I don't know... I really don't know' I say.
Which is the truth. I have no idea why any of this happened.
After everything that happened I almost forget that it's actually my birthday...
What a great birthday.
Then I remember, Ty had told me to meet him in the garden, he said he had a surprise for me.
'I have to go, but... Just, try to feel better okay?' I say.
'Okay...' she says quietly.
I walk outside and into the garden,
Ready to see what the big 'surprise' is.
Mitch's POV
I walk over to the bedroom door to apologise to Molly.
'What do you think you're doing?' Adam stops me.
'I'm going to talk to her' I say.
'No, Mitch. I'm not gonna let you do that' he says.
'Adam please' I say 'I need to speak to her'
'I'm sorry but I doubt she wants to talk to you right now' he says.
Behind I see Jason sneak towards his and kellie's bedroom door.
'You're not talking to her either' Adam turns to face him.
'Adam, I need to apologise' he says.
'You two are not aloud to talk to them' he says.
'I think of all of the girls as sisters, and you two broke their hearts.Just stay away from them'
I know he's right, but I can't leave.
I need to tell her that I'm sorry, that I don't know why I said those things.
I see her sad face, tears in her eyes in my head.
What have I done?
I look around me to see Jason and Adam had left.
I'm all alone, Molly doesn't want to see me, the others want to kill me!
It's all just... a big mess.
'What's with the sad face?' someone pulls me from my thoughts.
I turn around to see Seto leaning against the wall behind me.
'Oh ya know, I just made the love of my life hate me.' I say.
'Really?What did you do?' he asks.
'I don't know' I say 'I couldn't control what I was saying to her'
'That's terrible...' he says but a sly grin creeps its way onto his face.
Why is he smiling.
He steps towards me.
'At least you didn't... hurt her' he says.
'I would never hurt her!' I say.
'Oh but you would' he steps closer.
'What are you talking about?' I ask.
He waves his hand in front of my face and I feel the same way I did when I was yelling at Molly.
'Sweet dreams...' he says.
And I black out...
Lauren's POV
'Ty? where are you?' I walk around the garden for the third time but he's nowhere to be seen.
'Where is he?' I wonder aloud.
'Looking for someone?' I turn around to see his friend Seto with Amy beside him.
Amy looks like she did earlier.
'What did you do?' I ask.
'What makes you think I did anything?' he asks, sly grin on his face.
'Where is Ty? what did you do to him!?' I shout.
'Don't worry about him... he and the others are just fine' he says.
'I'm having a hard time believing that, what did you do?' I ask again.
He rolls his eyes.
He points towards me, causing Amy to walk towards me.
I start running.
'Get her!' I hear him shout.
I run as fast as I can into the house where I see Ty. he's safe!
'Ty!' I shout and jump into his arms.
'Woah, what's wrong?' he asks.
Seto runs in a few seconds later.
'What happened?' Ty asked.
'We were just playing around' Seto lies 'weren't we?' he looks at me.
I nod.
'Well anyway, I need to show you something' Ty puts me down.
'Yeah, I need to go take care of... a few things' Seto says.
Before leaving he walks past me and whispers 'I suggest you keep quiet, wouldn't want anything bad to happen to Ty would we?'
And with that he's gone.
Ty takes my hand and leads me upstairs.
'Ty, wait. Before you do anything I need to tell you something' I say when we go into our room.
'Okay?... what's up?' he asks.
'I was out in the garden, because that's where you told me to meet you when Seto came up behind me' I begin 'Amy was standing beside him and she looked like she did this morning.' I say.
'What does that have to do with Seto?' he asks.
'Well, he was acting really weird. I asked him where you were because I was worried. And he was saying things like you and the others are safe, then he got Amy to try to get me so I ran into the house' I say.
'That's why you jumped into my arms?' he asks.
I nod 'yeah...'
He sighs 'I don't know...' he says 'Seto is one of my closest friends, why would he do any of that?'
'Ty, you can't seriously believe him' I say.
'It's just... it doesn't seem like something he'd do' he says.
'So you don't believe me?'
'It's not that I don't believe you it's just... I don't kno-'
Amy walks through the door, cutting Ty off.
I take a step back.
'What do you want?' Ty pulls me behind him.
'It's okay, I'm not gonna hurt you guys' she says calmly.
She steps towards us.
'I need your guys' help'
Kellie's POV
Someone knocks on my door.
'Who is it?' I ask.
'It's roisin' she says from the other side of the door.
'Come in'
She peaks her head through.
'Hey, you doing okay?' she asks.
'I guess...'
She comes to sit beside me.
'I'm sorry' she says.
'It's not your fault' I say 'besides, I'm over him already' I lie.
'Then why are you still wearing the bracelet?' she asks.
I look down at my wrist to see the bracelet he'd gotten me.
I think back to all of those times we'd been through.
When he saved my life from the squids, our first date, the bracelet he'd given me when he asked me to be his girlfriend, our first kiss...
All of those moments... and they all meant nothing to him.
I don't even notice I'm crying until roisin hugs me.
'It's okay' she says.
'No, it's not okay' I say 'I'm just dragging you into this when you should be with jerome. Cherishing your time with him'
'Jerome says he understands that I have to be here for you two, but he still won't let me kill Mitch and Jason' she tries to make me laugh.
I laugh lightly, but it's not a real laugh.
A real laugh is when you're happy.
And right now... I'm not very happy.
There's another knock on the door.
Laura walks in.
'What's wrong?' she asks when she sees me crying.
'Nothing' I wipe away my tears 'I'm fine'
'Everyone is sad,Molly is sad, you're sad, Jason is sad, Mitch is sad...' she says.
'Why is Jason sad?' I sniff.
'I don't know, he won't talk' she says.
'But why ARE you sad?' She asks me.
'It's nothing' I lie.
She knows that I'm lying.
'I might be five but I KNOW that something is wrong' she crosses her arms.
Man, she is so like me...
'I already told you. She fell over' Roisin tells her.
'She wouldn't still be crying if she fell over' she says.
'Well, why don't you go play with whatever your dogs name is' Roisin says.
'George?' Laura asks.
'Yeah, go play with him'
'Okay' Laura says and leaves the room.
'You want some alone time?' roisin asks when she leaves.
I nod.
'Hey. it'll be okay' she says and leaves.
But it won't be okay.
First he loves me, cares about me and never let's me out of sight.
Then he hates me and tells me to go away.
And now he's apparently sad?
He has no reason to be sad.
He wanted me to leave him alone and I am, he should be happy...
This is probably just the worst day of my life...
Jason's POV
I wake up in someone-else's room.
'What the-'
'Oh, you're awake' someone says.
I look up to see Seto looking down at me.
'Where am I?' I ask.
'Don't worry, you're still in the house' he says.
'What happened? why does my head hurt?' I ask.
' I need you two to do something for me' he says.
Two?
I look around and spot Mitch asleep on the floor.
'What's going on?' I ask, standing up.
Seto ignores me and waves his hand in front of my face.
I feel the same as I did earlier, like I can't control myself.
'Now that I have you under my control, I need you to do something for me' Seto says 'you and him will both hurt the one you love the most,
That way every one of them will hate you two. This place will be filled with sadness and hatred.'
and if you tell anyone... well' he laughs. 'you can say goodbye to your loved ones'
What is he talking about?
I would never hurt her... ever.
'Do you understand?' he asks.
I feel my head nodding.
'Yes sir' my voice says.
So it was him... he's the one who made me say all of that stuff to Kellie.
'Perfect...' he laughs.
