Recently me and my girlfriend bought a new house.
It's a two-story house with a basement, good for us to storage thing that we don't want.
Everything was fine until the weird noises started. Doors would open and slam. We could hear steps and our dog wouldn't stop barking into the nothing.
One day we woke up in the middle night with the noise of our basement door opening and closing. My girlfriend stayed in the kitchen while I went to check. I knew I wouldn't find anything, and was praying for that, but I still turn the lights up and called to see if anyone was there.
Everything went silence, deadly silence, and then I heard a sound of someone running up stairs to where I was. I sprinted back to the kitchen and went turned back there wasn't anyone behind me.
