My birthday? No one has celebrated my birthday
"You guys came for my birthday? my birthday isn't in like a month ?" I ask like I couldn't believe it
"We wanted to spend time with you and know you better so we came a month earlier " my uncle Dante said
Everyone nods their heads in agreement
"why? my birthday isn't even worth the attention -" I rant but am cut off by dad
"Valentina I'll tell you this one time so listen up. Everything about you is worth our attention, your birthday is worth attention. Everything is worth our attention no matter how big or small" dad expresses cupping my cheeks
I felt tears well up in the corner of my eyes threatening to fall
I know I have said this before but I am glad I found my family and glad to be able to call a place home
I hug dad tightening my hold on him just in case he would disappear

Before I could even say I am awake I felt water being poured on me

I open my eyes and see Vinnie with an empty bucket in his hand and Lorenzo recording
"You both are dead meat," I say before getting up to chase then
"Run little brother" Lorenzo screams before both run out closing the door
I slam the door open and see Xander running out Of Xavier's room with a bucket in his hand and shortly after Xavier slamming his door open too
"Did they pour a bucket of water on you too?" Xavier asked
"Yep "

I nod in agreement and run in the same direction my brothers ran
Couple minutes later
"YOU SAID SHE WOULDN'T KILL ME" Vinnie shrieked
"SHE won't SHELL JUST BEAT YOU UP UNTIL YOU'RE CLOSE TO DEATH" Enzo yelled well more like tried to since Xavier was helping me beat up both of them
"You're both lucky me and Xavier love you or else you'd be six feet under"
All three of my brothers get on their knees and apologize

"Dad Enzo, Vinnie, and Xander poured water on me and Xavier" I whined

"Yes dad," all three say giving me a glare
"Go change you two. breakfast is almost ready"
Me and Xavier go to our rooms and change into some fresh clothes before heading downstairs to the dining room

Halfway through breakfast, I cough a little causing Xavier to also cough
"Oh no both of you are sick guess you'll have to cancel on your dates" Xander Pouts and pretending to be sad

After everyone was done the grownups and older cousins left to go to the warehouse and left us, cousins, at home

Once I finished taking a shower I hear a buzz come from the counter
I check to see what buzzed and it was my phone

I walk out of the bathroom and head to my closet.
I roam around my closet for a bit trying to find an outfit to wear
Once I choose an outfit I liked I tried it on

We walked into his room and there were clothes scattered everywhere

I chuckle at his nervousness but help him find an outfit
After a couple of minutes, we find the perfect outfit
