The next chapter is a bit... violent and there is some dark stuff. i'm warning yall.
After that the Bangtan member are out of the penthouse. I don't get any access to my laptop, my phone and I'm alone in the penthouse with Mellow.
It's really awkward to be alone like this. For so long. I'm in my room when I hear a loud noise.
Like a door breaking. I frown and silently walk to my closet and hide there.
"Find her."
That's Seungri. I know him. He had been weird with me at first. Giving me dirty glances and nasty remarks, but after sometime he became better. He still gave me those glances, but fortunately GD was always there to tell him off.
I clench and unclench my fist as I see a bunch of men walk inside my closet. I hold Mellow close to my chest and fortunately it doesn't make a sound.
"YOU INCAPABLE PIECE OF SHIT!" sounds of shots makes me gasp audibly
I put a hand on my mouth and shiver. No. No.
"Princess..." Seungri sings and I can see him step in my room "I won't hurt you..."
I shiver at his tone. I have no way of contacting the outside world. I know that there are CCTV's all around the house, but I also know that Bangtan are on the other side of the town.
That I'm alone in this.
I take a deep breath as Seungri slams the different door of my closet open. I'm hidden behind one, in a secret small space that Jimin showed me one day. In case something happens.
"Come out Melody...You don't want anyone to be hurt anymore because of you right?" Seungri is taunting me "I'll kill everyone here, if you don't come out." I raise my head. No he can't do that.
"Stop." I say and put a hand on my mouth
There's a silence. And I pray. I pray that he's gone and that they are here. But I know that it isn't the case. That I can't dream about it. I scream when the secret door is torn apart and I'm grabbed.
Mellow hisses, but kicked.
"Mellow!" I scream
"Leave the cat alone, we got her." A man says
I recognize him. He's from the 2pm clan. Nichkun. I did some work for them, but he's not aware of that. However, I can play that in my favor. Seungri is smiling like a devil.
I'm cringing as he grabs me roughly.
"Happy to see you Melody."
I spit in his face and he growls as he slaps me hard. My vision gets blurry but he slaps me again. Hard.
"You'll stop running your mouth soon enough."
When I open my eyes again, I'm in an abandoned factory. I'm in a cage. My ankle chained up. I don't see anyone at first. My hands are tied behind my back, in a plastic bind.
Then, I see him, Taecyeon. I recognize him right away. He notices I'm awake and I know he is about to call Seungri. However, I can't allow that.
It's my only chance.
"Taecyeon stop, hear me out." I call
He freezes in his movement and looks at me. His eyebrows are furrowed.
"How do you know my name?" He asks walking closer to the cage
"Because I worked for you before." I say wryly "I'm Finder." I say
He laughs and shakes his head. He walks away and I tug on the bind.
"I know that Junho is the one who killed Jay Park. That Jay Park betrayed the whole 2pm clan by keeping half of a shipment to himself. That happened in May, two years ago." I say
I can see that he freezes. He turns towards me and kneels in front of me.
"Finder." He says "I thought that you worked for Big Bang. How are you a Bangtan whore now?" he questions
"I'm Min Yoongi's little sister." I speak
Taecyeon eyes widen and I can see slight panic as he looks at me.
"Suga's?!" he groans "Damn that's not what Seungri said-"
"What's going on?"
I recognize Wooyoung and Jun K's voice. Taecyeon explains the situation and I can see that both male widen their eyes. It's unknown to the mafia world how Jay Park, one of the best shipment mediator of the mafia world died.
If he didn't play solo, he surely wouldn't have. Now that he did, was 2pm clan responsibility. I helped them despite GD being against it.
"Prove it." Jun K says "I have Park's number." He says
I can hear the sound of the phone ringing and when he picks up. I can't help but feel like I'm crying.
"Jun K. It better be important-"
"Jimin" I say
Silence. Complete silence. I know he is tracking the location of the phone.
"He hung up-
"If you disconnect that call Taecyeon, I'll make sure that all the men in your clan bath in your blood."
Jimin's threat makes me shiver because he is not joking. Taecyeon holds his breath and I can see that he is nervous. I look outside and it seems to be morning. How long have I been out exactly?
"It's been 2 days." Jun K reads my mind "Seungri drugged you pretty bad." That's why I was in pain everywhere
"If you get her back to us, I'll think about leaving your clan unscathed K. I want her alive." Namjoon's voice resonates
I can see all the men grimacing.
"We don't have the key." Wooyoung finally speaks
"The key?" This time it's Jungkook
"I'm in a cage. Shackled." I drop
There's no answer on the other side of the phone.
"Strays are on their way. I sent Han your location." Jimin speaks but the call is muted and I see why
"I told you to call me when she's awake!" Seungri growls as he walks over
I can see a little over 20 men behind him. I curl into a ball as I look at Seungri.
"My beautiful, beautiful slut." He insults
He dingle the keys in front of my nose. I look away and he laughs. I hear the sound of the cage opening and I'm grabbed by the ankle. I keep quiet.
"Why so quiet dear?" he murmurs
I don't answer. He kicks me in the stomach and I gasp. I cough as I'm down on the ground, his evil grin widening at me.
"I always wanted to get my fun with you. GD was always in the way." He pressed his feet on my stomach and I grunt "You're not screaming enough."
The only thing I feel is a burning pain in my thigh. I scream. Loudly. I've never been shot in my life. And it hurts so fucking bad. I have the impression that my thigh is on fire. Seungri presses on the wound and I whimper again.
"LET ME GO YOU BASTARD!" I push him with all the strength I have left and he falls on his butt
"You bitch!" he seethes as he kicks my stomach
I cough again and my vision blurs. I'm losing too much blood, plus the drugs, plus the lack of food and adding being a Pina. Seungri is furious, but he instructs a man to bandage my thigh as he pulls me hands up on a pillar.
I'm sat, my arms strained and I'm in utter pain. Then I see a shadow in the corner of my eyes.
"You will be useful." Seungri chants "And taming you right fills me with desire."
He grabs my chin and grins as he opens his pants. There is no way. No freaking way. This guy is nuts, but he forces my head to face him. I filled with disgust and I bite hard. Until I feel the taste of blood.
He screams and slaps me hard.
"Freaking bitch!" he kicks me again and again
"Enough."
I see Seungri pause. Bang Chan is standing right behind him a gun pointed to his nape. It's chilling by how calm he is. I see 2pm charge their phone at the men who arrived with Seungri and I can see the latter is filled with rage. Han steps forward and I can see how worried he is.
"We're here." He whispers
I can only feel the tear spill as Han unlocks the shackles around my ankle and arms. They fall limp on my side. However, I hear shots and screams soon enough.
Han stands in front of me, hiding me what's happening behind him. I glance at Seungri and his eyes are widened. For the first time, I can see fear in the crazy man's eyes.
"You wanted to meet." I hear Taehyung sing
However, there's no playfulness in his tone like I was used too. Another blood curling scream makes me shiver as I squeeze Han's hand for comfort. He lifts me up slowly and I whimper as he puts a hand on my thigh.
"He shot you?" Han asks out loud and there is a silence
"Gentle." I urge Han as he palps my thigh
Han stills as I see a hand on his shoulder. Bang Chan stiffens. I see Jimin and I smile as I slide my arms around his neck. I'm trembling as I hold him. I don't see the bloodied hand as he lifts me up very gently.
"I'm sorry." I whisper
"You don't have to be sorry at all baby." Jimin whispers "You did good." He praises
"Stay with me." I plead "Stay-"
Melody faints and Jimin smiles at the girl. He knows that she's not in danger but that she went through quite a traumatic experience. Seungri is still half naked and Jimin scrutinizes him and see the bite mark at a particular place. He carefully hands the girl back to Han.
"Get her checked at out Headquarters." He says
"Yes sir." Han complies
Han is about to walk away, but in front of him stands a man covered by blood. Han is difficult to frighten. He's usually good at frightening other, but right now he swears he pees his pants a little. Suga kisses the forehead of his little sister and nods at Han.
"Better take care of her." He chuckles
Han glances at Bang Chan who grimaces. That meant defending this girl with his life. He walks past the brother and he makes the error of looking in front of him.
Jungkook stands, holding a man by his throat and he makes him choke from time to time as he stabs him repeatedly.
The scene is right out of a horror movie and Jungkook turns his eyes to Han. Han can see the insanity that shines in them and he's unable to take another step forward.
"Hyung" Jungkook speaks casually as he crushes the throat of the man "Can I take her?" he asks
Namjoon frowns.
"I don't trust them." Jungkook says
"I'll go with him." Taehyung speaks
"How about...?" Seokjin asks pointing to the half-naked man
"It's not like you'll kill him right?" Jungkook pipes as he wipes his hand on a tissue and carefully grabs the fainted girl
"That's too easy." Seokjin complies "All right. Be careful on the road."
"Follow him Strays." Namjoon speaks for the first time and he isn't happy
When I open my eyes, I'm in an unknown room. I can see that I'm alone and my mind gets fuzzy for a moment. I remember barely what happened. I look around and it's very different from my room at the penthouse.
However, I get the sensation that it isn't the HQ of Bangtan either. I try stepping out of bed, but instantly feel dizzy.
"Mel." Felix's voice surprises me
"Felix?" I wonder
He smiles at me and I see that he is carrying a tray. He puts it down on my legs and I see lots of food. I slowly begin eating and I look at Felix who is watching me eating.
The question is obvious, but I can't seem to ask anything.
"Namjoon told us beforehand to take you here instead of the HQ. Jungkook and Taehyung were aware. It's a safe place unknown of anyone except Namjoon and us now. We're on the other side of Seoul now." he explains
"Why?" my question is obvious
"Complicated." He answers "Changbin Hyung will be better at explaining than me."
The said man steps inside and he smiles at me.
A smile that I return.
He sits down and I for the first time notice that I'm not alone in bed.
Han is holding my waist.
But I don't feel my legs at all. I can't feel my legs at all. I widen my eyes and begins to panic.
"Calm down Mel. It's the meds. It is normal. You can still...your legs are still useful." Changbin speaks as he widens his eyes
Han wakes up and embraces me. It takes me a few minute to calm down and I see Bang Chan at the door. He's quick to come forward and hug me too. He holds my hand strongly.
"Jimin went completely mad." The sentence had me raise an eyebrow
"Mad?" I wonder
"You're not without knowing that Jimin developed a strong attachment to you." I hum "Jimin tortured Seungri behind no means Mel. It's not even..." Changbin holds his head
"He cut off all of his limb and he made sure that he was still sane. He tortured him for hours, reviving him if necessary and he is still alive as we are speaking." He explains
I scrunch my nose in horror.
"When he stepped out of the torture room, he wanted to kill you. No one knows why, but somehow Namjoon had an inkling about it." Bang Chan speaks
Kill me? All of a sudden?
"Yoongi fought with him and almost got killed. No one's know where Jimin is as of now. But if he finds you, he'll kill you."
Thus, 4 month passed. I've been with the Strays and got closer to Han if possible. I would get random updates from my brother, but no Jimin in sight. He still did Bangtan hard work. He reported and did the missions Namjoon's assigned him.
Taehyung also got to see him. He said that Jimin was reflecting. I didn't know if that meant truly anything good.
"Mimi time to eat." I hear Felix call
"Coming!" I answer with a light sigh
We eat and it's always flooding with conversation. IN and I continue University and it's been going really great. A phone ringing doesn't faze anyone as Bang Chan stands up and disappears. However, when he comes back, it's not with a calm expression, but with a strained one.
"We need to go back to Bangtan." He speaks
"With Mel?" Han asks form beside me
"Yeah." Bang Chan looks tensed
I ride with him and Han. Bang Chan doesn't speak a word for a few minutes as the ride begins. I know that he is dying to speak about whatever is going on with Han and Changbin who are in the car.
"Seungri was backed up by Kwon." Bang Chan drops
I frown and settle in my mind the information I know about this Kwon, but nothing.
"Black Dealer." Han speaks in English and I recognize the name
"That's the man who asked GD if he could buy me for 100 million." I whisper against myself
"Right." Bang Chan says and he's very knowledgeable about the situation since he was there and was the one to kick Kwon out.
"I don't see the link now." I whisper "It's been three or four years." I add "I was only 16 back then."
Bang Chan grits his teeth. He remembers the old man who looked more obsessed about the girl who looked like his deceased wife than the actual deal with Big Bang. He even thanked GD for allowing him to kick the fucktard out of the building.
Kwon had risen in reputation and managed illegal slaving trades as well as casinos all over the underworld. Bangtan always had calm relationship with him.
However, now that he found out about Melody's existence and presence, he wanted her again. Like a kid with a long wanted toy.
"He killed your mother." Bang Chan drops
I widen my eyes for a second, but I don't feel sad. I don't feel anything for the death of the woman who didn't put an effort into raising me after she got separated from her husband. I feel nothing but relief. I know I shouldn't feel like this.
"I still don't see the link." I speak
"He's holding Taehyung as a hostage Melody."
I run inside the Bangtan building and I'm not stopped by anyone. I enter the meeting room and I see Namjoon and Kwon facing each other. I look around, but I don't see my brother or any of the others.
"So you came." Kwon claps
"Where's Taehyung?" I ask
Namjoon's expression and the door silently shutting behind me make me understand that I was tricked. However I stay calm. I look at Namjoon who motions me forward.
"What should I call you...Melody or Finder?" Kwon chuckles
"I brought her." Namjoon seethes "Where is Park?"
I look at Namjoon and then the door opens again. I see Jimin walking inside or rather being dragged inside. His hands are held behind his back. He does look roughened up but other than that, he's fine. His eyes meet mine and there's no emotion behind them.
I look at Namjoon and I understand that since the beginning there's a lie. That I was taken away from them because Namjoon said so.
"Finder." Kwon gathers my attention "Come here."
I look at the man and he's not the old man I remember. That's not Kwon. He smiles and sees the recognition in my eyes. I walk towards him and he looks at me.
That's Min Kwon.
My father.
Namjoon either knows this or he doesn't know a thing.
Jimin is pushed towards Namjoon and we face each other. I don't remember much of my father. He was in many way similar to my brother. However, the hazy memories don't warm me up as I recognize him. There's a fear that's growing inside of me.
"Melody." Namjoon
"Namjoon, don't do it." I whisper
I see Jimin raising his head and looking at me and his eyes widen as he sees the pure terror in the girl's eyes. He wasn't mistreated as he was held down, so he doesn't understand.
Before they went to deal with Seungri, Namjoon received a warning that he brushed off. Safety first, he sent Melody on the other side of Seoul in a secret hideout with the Strays. After small attacks happened here and there, until Kwon revealed himself as the instigator.
The man usually wearing a mask was vicious and didn't hesitate to sacrifice his men for any action he took. Deeming that there was enough Bloodshed and wanting to see Melody again, Jimin and Yoongi went there.
They almost won, but Taehyung who had followed them had been caught. Jimin exchanged his life for his best friend and Yoongi got shot twice near his lungs.
When Namjoon got a phone call that he would get Jimin back against Melody's or would make the mansion where all the other members were explode if one of them moved out, had Namjoon quickly decide.
"Finder."
The voice sending a shrill through her, Melody didn't know why the voice instigated so much fear within her.
He was her father.
But she never thought about him.
She never wondered about him.
Holding her head, she winced as she tried to remember, but nothing came to her.
"I'll take care of her."
