I finally arrived to an empty area so I let my rage and anger out. I let the ways I was taught by my parents when I lived in the fire nation before they where killed take over.
I shot fire at a tree as the fire engulfed the tree I just stood there and watched as the bright blue fire burned and soon spread to other tree's. The light from the blue fire eliminating my face with a blue tint, my e/c eyes glowing with anger.
I turned away from the tree and let them burn as I kept shooting fire all over the place causing other fires to start and leave burn marks all over the place.
Soon I was surrounded by my blue flames and I just stood in the middle and let it burn, I stared at it doing nothing.
"Y/n" I heard someone yell
I looked up over the ranging flames and narrowed my eyes and saw my team with the others, I glared and cursed but I didn't put the fire out.
"Kakashi sensei what do we do" I heard Sakura asked
"Well first we put the fire out" he said calmly
Next thing I now is that my beautiful calming flames where out. I glared at the man who had done it, my team ran in being careful since the ground was still hot and some trees had fallen from being burned through.
"Y/n are you alright" Naruto shouted
"I'm fine" I said
"How you where just surrounded by fire" Sakura yelled
"I said I'm fine and as you can see I'm not hurt now goodbye" I said turning around and walking away from them
I walked back to the flat and slammed the door closed behind me.
"There you are where have you been we've been worried sick" Katara said walking out of the kitchen
"I let out my anger out by fire bending" I told her
"We agreed not to bend what would of happened if someone saw you bending" Katara scolded
"Well maybe if it hadn't been for the idiot then I wouldn't of been angry in the first place" I told her
Katara sighed
"I know Y/n and he has no right about bringing up that topic but for now can you let it go we have other things to worry about such as learning how to get by here because it's clearly different from what we're used to" Katara said
I huffed crossing my arms over my chest
"I guess but I can't promise anything" I told her walking to my room
I heard her groan
"Why do you anyways have to be so stubborn" she mumbled
"I heard that" I shouted back
I walked into my room and closed my door, I sat on my bed and look around. My room was mostly empty apart from the double bed, a desk, a walk in closet and a bookshelf. I didn't put anything on the walls because I didn't have anything, I glanced over at my bag and got up. I walked over and bent down opening my bag and rummaging through it until I found the scrolls I was looking for.
I took them out and brought them over to the desk and opened them looking at the different bending forms for both fire and water.
"Why can I bend both elements not to mention there both polar opposite's" I mumbled
I ran my hand over the aging paper, the words of Katara's father coming to mind.
"Ones the way of living and healing while the other causes nothing but distraction if not used properly"
I sighed
I sat down at my desk and looked at the little details, after a few minutes I got up and tried a form for water bending seeing as I had water on my nightstand.
To say I was successful would be a lie I fail horrible I didn't even get halfway through let alone to the third step.
I groaned as I flopped onto my bed
I stared at my ceiling, I brought my hand up and bent water in a circle before I got bored. I got up and walked out of my room, I walked into the living room and saw Toph.
"What's up double bender" she said
I sweat dropped
"How many nicknames are you gonna come up for me" I asked
"Eh I don't know but at least you ain't twinkle toes" she laughed
"Whatever" I said
"Now what do you want" she asked
"Wanna go look around town and get used to it" I asked
"Sure"
She jumped up from the couch and walked to the door with me behind her, we walked out and down the path, we stopped once we got the the middle of the village.
"Where you wanna go Toph" I asked
"Let's just walk around for right now"
"Alright but if I see something good where using your blindness trick" I told her
"You see this is why your my favorite" she laughed
I rolled my eyes as we walked down the path, I looked at the passing stores and saw a cart full of baked goods, I tapped her shoulder.
"What"
"There's cart full of baked goods and they look and smell really good wanna get some" I asked
She nodded and walked over with me behind her.
I walked to the cart next to her and randomly look at what they had.
"Excuse me miss" Toph said
"Yes dear" the older women said
"What are this?" Toph asked confused
"Why there bread and cookies if course" the women told her kindly
"Do you mind if I feel or smell them to know what I wanna buy?" Toph asked
"I'm sorry but please only look" the women told her
"Sorry miss I can't do that you see I'm blind" Toph told her waving her hand in front of here face
The women's face became one of shock and embarrassment from not noticing it sooner
"Oh then please let my give you a bag with a few of everything on me" she told her
Toph nodded, once she was done she handed the bag to her. Toph started walking away making it look like she was struggling for a few minutes until she was far enough away. I soon followed her, once I caught up to her we sat on some steps and each took a cookie.
"Oh Toph this is why I like you" I sighed as I took a bite of my cookie
"What because I can get use free food"
"Yup"
We continued to eat until I noticed a group of three kids coming over to us.
"Can I help you" I asked
"You know it's not very nice to steal" the boy with black hair told us
"Oh there's where your wrong we didn't steal the lady give it to her for free" I told them
"Because you conned her" the female spoke
"Listen if she's that stupid to fall for it then maybe she shouldn't run a business" I told them not caring
"Besides it's not like we did anything wrong all I did was point out the fact that I'm blind" Toph told them
"Yah right we saw you walking normally after you where out of sight from her" the one wit brown hair spoke
I smirked and laughed a little
"Have you ever thought maybe it's because she can see in a different way" I asked
"There's no other way to see" the girl spoke
Toph held up her foot and pointed to it
"I can see through my feet which is why I don't wear shoes"
"Yah right" the boy scoffled
"She can prove it" I told them
"How"
"Close your eyes" I told her
I grab her hand and I pulled her up, once done I walked over and grabbed a rock and headed it to the boy.
"If you don't believe her throw the rock at her, not like she'll see it coming her eyes are closed" I whispered
The boy looked at me for a moment thinking if he should, after a few seconds he threw the rock right at her head. Toph waited till the last minute before she moved her head a little and let the rock hit the steps.
"There I think that's all the proof you need know goodbye" I told them as I grabbed the bag of baked goods
Me and Toph walked away, I didn't bother giving them a second glance.
