"Wake up ангел its 9 am," someone says shaking me awake
"Five more minutes " I whine cuddling closer to someone's chest

I jolt up and see that what I was cuddling into was nicos chest
If I could choose when to die I would choose this exact moment
"What happened to stay on your side моя любовь? " Nico teases

"Go get washed up I'll go make some food, " Nico says
"You know how to cook?" I ask
"Yeah, my mother showed me. Do you? "
"Yeah I learned from my mom before yk she died"

"It's all good, " I say shrugging off my mom's death
"You should find an extra toothbrush under the sink," he says before walking out
I brush my teeth and Do my business but the whole time I just thought about Nico and how sweet he is
Yeah he was an asshole to me at first but he's a lot better now and has helped me out In a lot of situations
Once I was done with my business I walk downstairs and as I am on the last step of the staircase the smell of waffles hits my nose and did they smell delicious
I quickly stroll to the kitchen to see Nico was all over the place but you could tell that he knew what he was doing
His back was facing me so he couldn't see that I was downstairs so I decided to pull a prank on him
I duck down and start crawling towards the kitchen island and once I got to the kitchen island I hide under it and I wait for Nico to pass me and after a while he does so I grab his ankle making him scream
"WHAT THE FUCK" he yells
I burst into laughter
"It's not funny I almost pulled my gun on you"
"You would have missed "
"I would not"
"You would not help me get up," I say
Nico helps me get up but once I saw what he was wearing I burst into laughter once again
He was wearing an apron that said 'mommy's little helper'
"It was the only one that fit me okay" he murmurs
"I Believe you mommy's little helper " I joke
"Go sit down I'll bring you your food"
"I can help you tho"
"It's fine besides you're very clumsy," he says
"IT WAS ONE TIME "I yell
Ever since I tripped in front of everyone in class a couple of weeks ago Nico has kept saying I am clumsy
"Mhm sure, just go sit down," he says
"I am only going to go sit down because I don't wanna stand anymore not because you told me to" I huff
Nico gives me a smile that made my heart melt
His smile looked so genuine. it was the most beautiful smile I had ever seen
After I get out of my haze I walk over to the table and sit down. After a couple of minutes, Nico comes out with a stack of waffles, cut up fruit, and orange juice
"It smells amazing" I complement
"Hopefully it tastes good too I haven't cooked in a while"
"If I die I'll haunt you"
He chuckles
When I take a bite out of my waffle I moan
"This is one of the best waffles I have ever had," I say
I look up to see Nico adjusting his pant. He looked uncomfortable
"Are you okay?' i ask
"Yeah all good I just felt uncomfortable in the way that I was sitting" he explained
What a weirdo
We continued eating and talking until we were both done eating.
Nico picked up the plates while I picked up the cups
"I'll help you wash and put the dishes in their place" I spoke
"No-"
"I said what I said"

"Nico you're getting soap and water all over the place "
"You're exaggerating"
"There's water all over the counter"
"It's just a little bit of water," he says shrugging it off
"I am not cleaning It. You did it, you clean it "
Once we finish cleaning the dishes we started putting them away in the cabinets but I struggled to put the plates away since they were on the top cabinet
I guess Nico saw me struggling because he then came up from behind me, grabbed the plates, and organized them
I felt his breath on my neck and once he was done putting the dishes away he got close to my ear and whispered
"Anything else to put away?"
I felt goosebumps all over my body
"No that was it," I say turning around
"You have soap on your cheek"
"Really?" I ask touching my cheeks but not finding it
"Hold on I'll help you"
He gently cups my face into his hand and swipes the soap off
"Thanks-" I thank but get cut off by Nico's lips crashing onto mine
He then stops and says "I am sorry-" but I cut him off with my lips meeting his
Maybe time stopped when his lips met Mine, but the fluttery feeling in me only intensified. my heart pounded rapidly in my chest. my mind was everyone but i was able to focus on how soft his lips felt against my own , how addictively he invaded all my senses.
he licked my bottom lip for access but I denied him access. When I denied him he Bit my bottom lip causing a bit of blood to come out.
this made me Gasp making my lips part giving him a chance to slip his tongue into my mouth.
I moaned into the kiss he was exploring every inch of my mouth making my knees go weak
He pulled me closer by my waist deepening the kiss. I put my hands around his hair it was soft and silky. i pulled a bit of his hair causing a groan to come out of him.
After a bit we both came up for air. we were both out of breath
"I never thought of our kiss as a mistake" he blurts out
"What? "
He cupped my face and said
"I only said it was a mistake because I was scared. I scared of not being good enough for you, scared of someone taking you away from me."
"I forgive you but I can't trust you"
his face lights up when I said I forgive him but falls a bit when i said i didn't trust him
"I'll try my best to earn it back "
"how?" I say curious about how he would earn it
"by taking you on a date "
"who said I would agree?" I tease
"if you didn't I would beg on my knees until you said yes"
"It is tempting to see you beg on your knees but I'll use it for another day "
"So does that mean you'll let me take you on a date?"
"yes"
"Really?" he asks as if he couldn't believe it
"yes so when's our date?" I ask
"Tomorrow I'll pick you up at 5"
"Okay"
"Now let's get you home love"

"See you tomorrow ангел," Nico bids before I close the car door

"What does that mean" he asks
"I don't know," I say giving him a grin
I hear him groan
"Paybacks a bitch isn't she?" I smirk
"Whatever" he murmurs Before driving
I smile to myself as I walk up the driveway.
When I open the door and head to the living room I am left shocked.
my extended family was in the living room with my brothers and my dad.

I have been so busy this week so sorry for not posting for almost a week
But I did want to talk about something really quick
I decide I won't be doing any mature scenes in this book because both Nico and Valentine are underaged and writing mature scenes about them while there both minors makes me uncomfortable
But in my next book, there will be mature scenes
In this book, they will kiss, make out, hug all that but not have sex
