After the assessment exam, Iruka gave his students free time which in his opinion was well deserved and he also had been thinking quite a lot about his new students
'I have an interesting batch of students for only my second year of being a teacher in the academy' Iruka thought while looking at the papers with the data of each of his students
With The Students
Nothing interesting happened in the classroom that's at least for the first 5 minutes after that a girl with brown hair gave Sasuke a bento box and after it was CHAOS, girls were going to Sasuke giving him bento boxes, chocolate, and flowers. Naruto swore that some of them were hallucinating about them marrying Sasuke as some girls were mumbling about Sasuke being their husband and the words "You may now kiss the bride" and then squeals
'What the hell these girls are crazy!!' Naruto thought
"Fangirls?" Kurama asked with his eyes twitching
"Okay what the hell, don't they see that the guy is basically trying to get away from them he literally took a random book from under his desk and is pretending to read it" Naruto now said but made sure to not shout as the mob would probably go to him and beat him up trying to deny that outrageous statement but still he was strong and he knew that, but could he really fight more than 20 girls and the answer was 'probably' but didn't risk it because if he lost he would get beaten up if he won he would be the guy that beat up more than 20 girls so it was a lose-lose situation
"Girls are so troublesome" A boy with spiky hair and a lazy expression said who was subsequently beside the blonde boy who seemed to answer Naruto's previous statement which Naruto overlooked at first as the lazy boy was not looking at him as his eyes were shut, he actually thought the boy was sleeping
"Uh yeah at least as far as I can see" Naruto said not really wanting to generalize a whole gender from about 20 girls that were 8 years old
"Hey blonde guy I don't know if you noticed but 2 girls are looking at you like some girls were looking at Sasuke before whatever that thing happened" The lazy boy said with his eyes still shut while Naruto systematically turned his head to see a girl with short platinum blond hair and light blue eyes and another girl with dark blue hair and white eyes
"Oi! it's Naruto and how did you even know that your eyes are shut" Naruto said and then asked
"Okay fine Naruto I don't know if you noticed but Ino and that other girl are looking at you like some girls were looking at Sasuke before whatever that thing happened. Is that good enough? Oh and my name's Shikamaru" Shikamaru said lazily trying to be a smart ass to the blonde boy
"Ok" Naruto said then muttering "I guess", but Naruto looked at Shikamaru then stated the obvious "You still didn't answer my question"
"Oh, they were looking like that even while we were sparring but that dark blued hair girl seems to be looking at you since the beginning" Shikamaru said matter of factly
"But why?" Naruto asked
Shikamaru smirked then grew into a chuckle but after realizing the blonde boy wasn't joking nor being sarcastic asked something "Are you that dense?"
"What?" Naruto said in a tone showing that he was offended by Shikamaru's previous question and what he did before that
"It means they're attracted to you" Shikamaru said with a deadpan look
"Oh" Naruto said not really able to say anything after that
"B- HAHHAHAHHAHAHA" Kurama laughed making Naruto from confusion to embarrassment to downright angry
'WHAT THE HELL KURAMA!!' Naruto shouted to Kurama with his eyes simultaneously twitched
'IF YOU KNEW YOU COULD'VE TOLD ME!!!!' Naruto said to Kurama calmer but his eyes still twitching
"Well I thought you were at least slightly aware of it but when you asked 'Why?' I was about to say but, I knew that Shikamaru kid was gonna say so I just let the situation unfold" Kurama said trying to defend himself to his container
'Fine' Naruto said no longer shouting or twitching his eyes but still had a hint of anger but thought he should just let it go as it wouldn't benefit him in any way
Shikamaru was amused to see Naruto twitching his eyes and looking at him blankly but Naruto quite literally came back to reality, but it's not like Shikamaru knew that
"Ok, so what am I gonna do now?" Naruto asked more to himself but wouldn't mind if his peer or friend he didn't really know, would answer it but supposed he wouldn't answer it because of his lazy ambiance per se but to his surprise, Shikamaru did answer "I mean if you really want to do something I guess you could go up to one of them and talk I guess but if I were you I wouldn't do anything at all"
"So I have those two options huh?" Naruto asked
"Yeah" Shikamaru said with a deadpan look
Naruto surprisingly went to a girl 'a' because it was only one. 'Which one?' you might ask? The girl with platinum blonde hair as Naruto's eyes first laid on her went she looked at both of them so just went to her thinking that there wouldn't be that big of an impact on who he went to right?
"Hi" Naruto said not knowing what to say then instantly cringed
"B- HAHHAHAHHAHAHA" Kurama laughed at his container's previous statement
'Shut up Kurama' Naruto said quickly to the strongest being in the world trying not to get upset as he just made a conversation with someone that was apparently attracted to him
"Oh hi" Ino said calmly despite the storm going on in her head
'What he's talking to me, why did he talk to me, what do I say, what do I even do, and why did I say 'Oh hi' that's so awkward' Ino thought asking and critiquing her every move
Both blondes didn't know what to say next but Naruto was the first one to break the ice
"Good job on the assessment exam" Naruto said complimenting his fellow blonde
"Oh thanks, you did better than me though" Ino said returning the compliment to her whiskered classmate
"Yeah but I just got lucky" Naruto said grinning while rubbing is back of his head sheepishly
"No way that was all just luck you beat Sasuke-kun after all" Ino said trying to refute Naruto's statement
"Yeah I suppose but I feel like that Sasuke guy was off guard our whole fight because of him not expecting how strong I was y'know" Naruto said giving his actual input of the fight but then suddenly remembered that they have shared their name yet so he spoke up "Oh my name is Uzumaki Naruto" Naruto said then asking the most reasonable thing you would say after that statement "What's yours?"
"Uh sure I guess and my name is Yamanaka Ino" Ino said not really sharing the sentiment that Naruto did regarding his fight with Sasuke but decided pushing it wouldn't do much as how could she even argue with the person that actually fought but stated her name answering the question of her new person of admiration
Cutting the conversation of the two blondes Iruka went into the classroom with a girl with red hair, black glasses, red eyes, a light purple zip-up shirt, and black pants
"Sorry for the wait but we had a last-minute student and gave her a short assessment exam" Iruka informed his students the reason for him being gone for too long then asked the girl beside him "Would you like to introduce yourself?"
"uh Uh MY NAME IS UZUMAKI KARIN" The now identified Karin said then shouted then blushed because she was too shy to say something but suddenly just let all she wanted to say out loud

Hi everyone so yeah we are getting a bit more into the exciting parts and actually introducing plot points that will massively affect the story I think this chapter has the most significant butterfly effect out of all of them so far as I teased it on the part when Naruto chose to go to Ino instead of Sas- oh I mean Hinata. I also slightly changed my writing just by a tad so tell me if you liked it or not.
