Thirty years before the 74th Hunger Games.
Dove Mildfall had done what many watching the 44th annual Hunger Games thought to have been impossible. A small, seemingly unimpressive girl from District 10 who farmed cattle, won the games in a startling show of violence. She was the Capitol's darling, having captured their hearts with her endearing smile. Maybe it was sponsors that secured her the win. Or maybe it was simply her.
Andor Farberg, a year prior to the stunning victory of Dove Mildfall, had won. A weak boy from District 9 with no experience in anything but grain fields pulled the rug out from everybody when he camped out in the cornucopia, slaughtering anyone who approached. It was violent and brutal and the Capitol loved it. He became one of the most desirable men in all of Penam. But his heart was spoken for when he met Dove for the first time on her victory tour.
They found love even after the horrors they had to go through, something they both thought to be impossible. They had an understanding of one another beyond anything imaginable. And so, they settled down in the Capitol, awaiting their time to be mentors to their district's victors.
But the odds were not in their favour.

NOTE: welcome everybody!! I feel like it was long overdue for me to write a Hunger Games fic AS WELL as an oc x oc fic, so why not combine the two? I've gotten on this trend of writing gritty, dark, and violent books and I'm LOVING IT! This story is gonna be rather short, around 10-15 chapters cause the plot isn't all that big BUT it's gonna be fun so stick around!
