"Hi, i'm Elizabeth and i'll be your server this afternoon" I said without looking up as I searched for my notepad. Once finding it i pulled it out, "Can I help you to a drink or a app-" my gaze shifted upwards and I froze once I saw the person thats been on my mind since I started my shift

I couldn't get her out of my mind. I just kept thinking about having that coffee with her.
Although my feet are killing me I was going to still go to the coffee shop before heading home but here she was now
In all her glory with a black spaghetti strap shirt tucked neatly into gray trousers, a slightly darker gray blazer hanging on her shoulders. She looked gorgeous as she had mascara on making those sea green eyes pop out. Her hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail
"Hi, beautiful. Didn't expect to see you here or in your case... working here" she said with a chuckle after she knocked me out of my daze
Again I was lucky for my darkskin as it hid the blush but once I realized what she said my tone went defensive
"Whats that supposed to mean?" i scoffed
She looked at me confused, "What does what mean"
"Didn't expect to see you here or in your case working here" I mocked in a high pitched tone while moving my head side to side
"First off.." she laughed and held up a finger, I glared at her. "Thats not how I sound. Second, I didn't mean it that way. I just didn't know you worked here"
"Okay then you should have said that" I said, my voice still snappy. "You know what? I don't got time for this. I'm tired and ready to sleep. Your new waiter will be out shortly" I sneered and turned around with a annoyed sigh
As I was walking away I felt a big hand cup my whole wrist
Okay come on now I couldn't be that skinny that her whole palm could wrap around my wrist
She just has big hands... yes that's what it is
"I said i didnt mean it that way" she grumbled under her breath, eyes darting around
I also looked and saw some customers staring at us with curious gazes, some others annoyed.
My mouth formed into a 'O' shape and before I could even process it she was pulling me down the aisle and out the front door
"What are you doing?! I'm working!" I hissed and tried to go back inside before I get fired
She stopped me. "No, not until you forgive me. I didn't mean to make it sound like it was bad for you to be working here or made it sound like you shouldn't be working here. I didn't mean it that way so please forgive me and still see me at the coffee shop?" she begged
I felt myself soften at the desperate look in her eyes
"I guess I overreacted" I murmered and looked down embarrassed
I felt her lift my chin up with her finger. She smiled softly at me and her eyes flickered down to my lips for a brief second
My heartbeat quickened a little
She leaned forward just a tad bit but it was enough for me to notice and I stepped back, clearing my throat
"I- I should get back to work" I whispered without looking at her
But when I glanced up her cheeks were adorably colored hot pink
She hummed and I quickly walked back inside
Oh fuck what just happened?
Why did I actually want her to kiss me?
I'm married for gosh sakes!
I mentally scolded myself as I walked to the backroom
