After (Y/n) and Serena battled Korrina and getting a Key Stone each, we now see (Y/n) at the International Communication Station and she is talking with both Prof. Rowan and Prof. Juniper about Zoroark's appearance but enough of that lets get on with the meat and potatoes
(Y/n)'s p.o.v
(Y/n): so Professors, did you two find out what happened to Zoroark?
Prof. Juniper (I.C.S): we found something but I would like to see Zoroark if you don't mind
(Y/n): not at all *brings out Zoroark* here you are Professor
Prof. Juniper (I.C.S): oh wow! When you said Zoroark looked different I didn't think it was like this
Prof. Rowan (I.C.S): yes I thought Zoroar k would be shiny but I remembered that Zorua wasn't a shiny when she was brought to Sinnoh
(Y/n): so what happened to Zoroark?
Prof. Rowan (I.C.S): *grabs the old Pokédex and opens it* I looked through the old Pokédex and looked through both the Zorua's and Zoroark's data of that time and it says that they they both held some malice which was used against their opponents
Prof. Juniper: and when I heard that Pokédex entry, I asked the police force if they had a case based on anyone mistreating a Zorua and there was one case that they told me
(Y/n); what did the file say?
Prof. Juniper (I.C.S): well from what I read, the person would mistreat the Zorua daily whether that be not feeding it and letting it starve and would leave it outside when no one was in the neighbourhood, until one night a neighbour of the owner came home early from work and saw what happening and called the police, so when the police arrived the owner shattered the Zorua's Pokéball and basically kick the Zorua over their fence then arrested, but the officers couldn't find the Zorua in the end
I just stare at screen in shock about and think why someone would do such a thing to a Pokémon but I felt a chill run up my spine as I hear growling behind me and see Zoroark back up from me and her mane flares up
(Y/n): woah Zoroark! Calm down!
I approach Zoroark but she glows bright pink and takes form of some guy but her eyes stay their Heterochromia colour as she let's out a scream as a ghostly aura flares up, surprising and scaring everyone in the Pokécentre
Prof. Rowan (I.C.S): my word!
Prof. Juniper (I.C.S): (Y/n)! What's happening?!
(Y/n): I don't know! This has never happened before!! *reaches for the Poffin Case and grabs a sweet poffin* hey Zoroark, it's okay girl! Look I've got your favourite poffin right here but you need to calm down, you're scaring everyone in the building!
Narrator's p.o.v
As (Y/n) continues to approaches her Zoroark with the poffin outstretched in front of her and Zoroark leans forward and sniffs the poffin then leans towards (Y/n) and grabs the poffin and starts to eat it as the aura starts to die down and takes her original form
(Y/n): geez Zoroark, you good?
Zoroark: Zoro...
(Y/n): I'm guessing you were that Zorua that was mistreated huh?
Prof. Rowan (I.C.S): that would explain the malice that Zoroark holds then *(Y/n) and Zoroark face the International Communication Station*
Prof. Juniper (I.C.S): and the illusion that Zoroark put on was her first owner...
(Y/n): man... the guy looked like a complete douche...
Prof. Rowan (I.C.S): language young (L/n), also your Zoroark has changed types going from being a dark type to a dark/ghost type
(Y/n): woah seriously?! Just like Mum's Spirtomb
Prof. Juniper (I.C.S): yep he's telling the truth, that means that Zoroark will have a new move that only the people of Hisui know about
Prof. Rowan (I.C.S): indeed, the move is called Bitter Malice and only Zoroark can use it
(Y/n): ok that awesome! Thank you Professors, really both really helped me with this
Prof. Rowan (I.C.S): it's no problem young (L/n), we are happy to help and tell Sycamore I said hello for me please
Prof. Juniper (I.C.S): just make make sure to keep an eye on Zoroark okay
(Y/n) nods at the screen and says her goodbyes to the Professors and returns Zoroark into her ball and heads outside the Pokécentre and sees Serena and Shauna having and a Pokémon battle against each other and as (Y/n) gets closer she sees Delphox using mystical fire on Steelix causing it to faint
Serena: *returns Delphox* and that's the match
Shauna: *returns Steelix and sighs in defeat* you really are good at this Serena
Serena: it's nothing really *notices (Y/n)* oh hey (Y/n)!
Shauna: *faces (Y/n)* heya (N/n)!
(Y/n): heys guys, having a quick sparring match before we head off?
Serena: yes indeed, also did you find out why Zoroark looks different?
(Y/n): yep, apparently Zoroark was mistreated by her first Trainer so that left some malice in her, so that changed her typing from a dark type to a dark/ghost type and she has her own unique move that only she can use and it's called bitter malice
Shauna: woah that's crazy!
Serena: indeed, oh before I forget *hands (Y/n) the HM for surf* here, take this
(Y/n): *bags the HM* thanks Serena, now let's head to the next town
<time skip 15 mins brought to you by Chibi (Y/n) riding on a Chibi Skiddo>
After travelling through Route 12 the trio arrived in Coumarine City and now we see the trio headed towards the Seaside Station so they can head to the Pokécentre to heal their Pokémon
(Y/n): that Route is much smaller then what it looks like on the map...
Shauna: it wasn't that bad (Y/n)! We got to ride the Skiddo on that farm
(Y/n): that is true and that was quite fun
Serena: hehe, come on let's hurry before we miss the monorail
As the the trio enter the station and see Prof. Sycamore and Diantha in the station talking to each other until they see the trio
Prof. Sycamore: well hello, you three!
Serena: hello Professor
Prof. Sycamore: *notices the Key Stones on (Y/n) and Serena* congratulations! I see that you two finally obtained everything you need for Mega Evolution! A Mega Stone for the Pokémon and a Key Stone for the Trainer and a strong bond with your Pokémon
Diantha: a strong bond?
Prof. Sycamore: it's only a hypothesis, but I think the bond between Pokémon and Trainer is key to this new Evolution. But what is this bond, exactly? And why are examples of Mega Evolution only in the Kalos region? There is still so much to this mystery that we don't know about...
Diantha: does this make you think of something like Kalos' Legendary Pokémon? Found only here in the Kalos region, right? Nowhere else? Maybe that's not a coincidence
(Y/n): pretty sure I saw Ho-oh fly across Sinnoh's skies when I was younger
Prof. Sycamore: oh! What an excellent point! Indeed! The more you know, the more there is to research! The excitement never ends, does it?
Serena: so Professor why are you two here exactly?
Prof. Sycamore: oh, that's right! I came to give you three this! *walks over and hands the HM for fly to (Y/n)* use the HM fly to pop right over to Pokémon Centres of places you've already visited!
(Y/n): cool *her Pokétch dings signalling that a HM has been added*
Prof. Sycamore: well then, I hope to see you all again soon!
(Y/n): Prof. Rowan says hi by the way Professor and you should give him a call soon
Prof. Sycamore: thank you (Y/n) and don't worry I'll give him a call when I can *leaves the station with a slight spring in his step*
Diantha: bonds... they really are important to us all, aren't they?
Shauna: yes they are!
Diantha: *smiles a little at Shauna's enthusiasm* when I'm acting, I think I'm always trying to forge a bond between myself and the character I'm playing. If all I think about how I'm nothing like a character, then I'll just hate playing it. But when I focus on what I have in common with the character and put myself in her shoes, I might be able to understand her. It's the same for people - -or Pokémon
(Y/n): this sounds similar to what Riley said whenever he training with his Lucario
Diantha: oh, don't mind me! I'm just babbling about my own things, say (Y/n) let's have a battle the next time we meet, I'm still looking forward to see you in action
And like that Diantha walks out the door leaving the trio to their own thoughts as Shauna's mind races in excitement that she got to meet Diantha again, Serena's mind was picking at both the Professor's and Diantha's rants and (Y/n)'s mind was pumping itself up with eagerness. After coming back reality they make their to the desk of the station and after a short talk they boarded the monorail and arrived at Hillcrest Station and head straight to the Pokémon Centre and once their Pokémon were all healed they all split up for a few minutes and (Y/n) has found her self in the badlands of Route 13
(Y/n): alrighty, now I heard that Gibles are quite common on this Route and Imma gonna catch one
So (Y/n) travels through the windy terrain and gets behind a rock that's just big enough for her get behind and once the winds died down (Y/n) looked over the rock and sees what she's looking for, so she pulls out an Ultra Ball sneakily makes her way towards it and when she's close enough, she throws the ball and hits a back strike on the Gible and after two shakes she caught the Gible
(Y/n): yes! I've got a Garchomp of my own now! *feels Lucario's ball shaking* what would Lucario want?
(Y/n) releases Lucario from his ball and now he stands before his trainer
(Y/n): is something the matter Lucario?
Lucario: yes, it seems that Gible that you caught is capable to evolve, since she has seen her fair share of battles out here
(Y/n): really now *takes out Gible from her ball* so your already battle harden huh?
Gible: Gib!
(Y/n): well that's good to hear, so do you want to evolve?
Gible stares at (Y/n) with stars in her eyes then the winds start to pick up again forcing (Y/n) to take cover yet again and Lucario follows behind as the two make it, the dust starts to surround Gible very much similar to what Charizard did when he evolved, as the dust settles down (Y/n) and Lucario step out from their cover and see that Gible has evolved into a Gabite
(Y/n): woah! That's amazing!
Gabite: Gab! Gabite!!
(Y/n): hehe, that's good to hear but we should head back into Coumarine, so I can battle the Gym *notices something next to Lucario's foot* hey what's this?
(Y/n) grabs the object from off the ground and examines it and it seems to be a card of some sorts and it seems quite important so she puts it in her bag where the other key items are kept and heads back to Courmarine to take on the Gym Leader. Once she arrives at the front of the Gym Serena and Shauna ran up behind her and telling (Y/n) about what they found in Courmarine, and once they finished talking they enter the Gym as (Y/n) and Serena prepares themselves for the challenge ahead of them
(Y/n): so this is it huh?
Serena: yes it is
(Y/n): cool, also there seems to be a lot of ropes we have to swing and climb on
Serena: and you're pointing this out why?
(Y/n): well I'm hoping you brought an extra set of clothes, so you don't accidentally flash anyone when you're on the ropes
Serena: *a blush appears on her face as she faces (Y/n)* w-wha-
(Y/n): welp, I'm off *heads towards the first rope and climbs it*
<time skip 30 mins brought to you by Chibi (Y/n) getting tangled up on the safety nets>
After swing and climbing on the ropes and battling all the rangers, (Y/n) finally reaching top of the structure to see an elder man using giant hedge trimmers as a cane
Ramos: *notices (Y/n) walks towards him* ho! So yeh've made it clear up here! I'm the Gym Leader. Ramos's the name. So what do you think, whippersnapper? Did yah enjoy the garden playground I made with these sturdy plants o' mine?
(Y/n): it's much more fun then Gardenia's little puzzle, I'll say
Ramos: hehe that's good to hear. Their strength is a sign o' my strength as a gardener and a Gym Leader! Yah sure yet up to facing all that?
(Y/n): that's why I'm here, so have at thee!
Ramos smiles at (Y/n)'s tenacity and sends out his first Pokémon being Jumpluff and (Y/n) sends out Charizard
(Y/n): ok Charizard use flame burst!
Ramos: dodge then use poison powder!
Charizard fires a fireball Jumpluff whom dodges the initial attack but gets hit by the splashing embers inflicting some damage then Jumpluff shakes their cotton puffs and releases a sparkling purple powder with red sparkles and Charizard inhales in the powder poisoning him
(Y/n): not good I don't have an antidote... but I didn't anticipate that this Jumpluff would have poison powder. Ok Charizard use fire fang!
Charizard rushes at Jumpluff as his mouth gets a coating in flames and once close enough he bites down on Jumpluff and starts to thrash and slamming the smaller Pokémon into the ground until it faints
Ramos: not bad whippersnapper! But this is where the fun begins! *sends out Weepinbell*
Weepinbell: Weepinbell!
Ramos: now Weepinbell use acid!
Weepinbell releases a stream of violet acid from its mouth at Charizard which hits the fire dragon inflicting decent damage, then Charizard flies high into the air and once high enough his wings turn white he then uses air slash which hits it mark leaving Weepinbell worse for ware and Charizard gets hurt by his poisoning
Ramos: not bad young blood, but yeh need to try better then that! Now Weepinbell use stun spore!
Weepinbell releases an orange mist from its mouth at Charizard whom is flying straight at Weepinbell and ready to use fire fang and after diving straight through the mist and chomping and slamming the Flycatcher Pokémon into ground making it faint but when flying through the mist wasn't the smartest thing for Charizard to, since he is now paralysed and poisoned
(Y/n): not good... I didn't buy a full heal
Ramos: heh heh, yeh need to prepare yourself for the unexpected, now come out Gogoat!
With Ramos' Gogoat out and ready for battle making the weaken fire dragon get ready for what's about to come at him but feels like he can move a bit more freely
Ramos: no antidote but yeh got a paralyse heal? Kids nowadays, so confusing...
(Y/n): well I'll show you what the upcoming generation can do! Charizard break past your limits and go further beyond! Mega Evolve! *touches the Key Stone and *taps the Key Stone and raises it past her head*
A bright glows surrounds Charizard as his wings grow larger with smaller wings on his wrists as large horn grows on the top of his head, becoming Mega Charizard Y
((A/n): I can see the comments already about why I should have used Mega Charizard X))
(Y/n): ok Charizard! Use flame burst!
Ramos: Gogoat, dodge then use take down!
Charizard fires another ball of flames at Gogoat which dodges the main attack and only getting splash damage but powers through it. Then Gogoat's horns becomes surrounded in a golden aura and it slams into Charizard with great force but the recoil causing damage to Gogoat
(Y/n): fire fang!
With the command being heard, Charizard recovers the attack and goes back on the offensive and bites down on Gogoat's neck and slams the Mount Pokémon in the floor then drags them across the floor
(Y/n): now finish this!
As Charizard continues to drag Gogoat as a another fire ball grows in his mouth and when the time comes Charizard uses flame burst at point blank causing it to faint and Ramos returns Gogoat back into it's ball as Charizard returns back from his Mega Evolution
Ramos: yeh can't take things too quickly when it comes to forming a friendship with yer Pokémon, sprout!
(Y/n): I know that feeling, that's for sure*pets Charizard neck then returns him to his ball*
Ramos: yeh believe in yer Pokémon... and they believe in yeh, too... mighty oaks from acorns grow. Go on then. Yeh've earned it. Here's yer own Plant Badge, sprout *Ramos hands (Y/n) the Plant Badge as puts it away* if yeh've got yourself a Plant Badge, then yeh can use the HM fly even when not battling. It's a real boon. Here - - have this, too. Might as well make hay while the sun shines, I reckon. *hands (Y/n) the TM86 Grass Knot whom bags the item* that TM there is for grass knot. Yeh can use it to trip yer opponent up in the grass. The heavier the opponent, the harder it'll fall - - and the more it'll hurts
(Y/n): thanks Ramos and thanks for allowing me to challenge you and your Gym
Ramos: and I couldn't help but admire your strength throughout our battle, so it was my pleasure
When Ramos finished talking we taps the floor twice then the gate that blocked the slide to head back down opened up allowing to sit on it and slide down it and end back up at the front to see Shauna waiting for her
Shauna: well done (N/n)!
(Y/n): thanks Shauna, I'm guessing Serena went up to challenge Ramos?
Shauna: yep yep! I'm guessing you need to head over to the Pokécentre?
(Y/n): yeah Charizard is poisoned so yeah
Shauna: no worries, just make sure you come back before you head of to the next city again!
(Y/n): don't worry, I won't
After saying that (Y/n) walks out the Gym and towards the Pokécentre but her Holo Caster alerts her of a new message and to see it's from Lysandre
Lysandre: hello young (Y/n), I'm Lysandre creator of the Holo Caster and I'm a college Professor Sycamore. He had just told me you can now wield Mega Evolution. That is truly wonderful. With that power, you can steer your future in a better direction! We can't just cover up the old filth with the new filth! I implore you to consider what we need to do to change the world into a new, beautiful world! *the message closes*
(Y/n): something is not right with that message, better tell Serena after she's done with her Gym challenge
And so (Y/n) heads back towards the Gym to watch Serena's battle against the Gym Leader and that ends today's chapter I hoped that you enjoyed it and I hope to see you soon bye bye
