Taehyung POV:

When I woke up the next morning, the sun had just barely come over the horizon, filling my room with early morning sunlight. I was too excited to sleep for much longer knowing my soulmate was here in Korea, knowing that she had spent the night in the same apartment, in the same country with us. It was so different from her being halfway across the world and I couldn't believe how excited I was about it all. I lay there for a moment, debating on what I wanted to do. Part of me wanted to go and see if she was awake, but I knew she must be feeling a little bit of jet lag from her transatlantic flight.

Unable to sleep any longer, I climbed out of bed and stretched before heading into the bathroom to wash my face, brush my teeth, and take care of my other needs. Before I exited, I checked my hair in the mirror, just in case. I couldn't help but laugh at myself for the silliness, especially since I was still in my pajamas. Yes. I wanted my soulmate to see me with neat hair, but I think my pajamas will throw off that whole vibe. I rechecked my hair anyways then left the bathroom.

Stepping out of my bedroom, I peeked in the direction of Y/N's room. She was a couple doors down from me and right across the hall from Jimin's and Yoongi's rooms. As I passed by Jimin's room, I noticed his door was open and when I peeked in, I saw his bed was empty, his blankets still in a jumble from his constant movement. I smiled to myself, figuring he must have been too excited to sleep too and was probably in the kitchen, anxious for our sweet soulmate to wake up.

Y/N's door was open and when I peeked in there, my mouth dropped open at the sight. My soulmate was sound asleep as I had figured, but she wasn't alone. A familiar head of dark red hair was on the other pillow, his arms around her, and a contented smile on his still sleeping face. So this is where you went Jiminie. I couldn't help but smile as I gazed down at them. Jimin was one of the biggest snugglers of our group and knowing that our soulmate had let him cuddle close to her during her first night made me feel that the universe had chosen perfectly for us, chosen the one that was going to be what we all needed, what we all wanted.

Not wanting to disturb the sweet scene, I left them alone in the room. As I headed down the stairs to the kitchen, I thought about how I felt about seeing them together like that and surprisingly? I wasn't jealous. Not in the slightest. Seeing the two of them together like that made my heart fill with even more love and adoration for her and I couldn't be happier.

Feeling happy about the whole situation, my steps were a little lighter, my heart a little happier and I let that feeling carry me down the stairs. Since my soulmate was still asleep, I had the great idea to surprise her with breakfast. I wasn't the greatest cook of the group, but I could definitely figure something out. When I made it to the kitchen, my mouth dropped open again when I realized that someone had the same idea and beat me to it. Yoongi was standing at the stove, frying what looked like bacon, and when I entered the kitchen, he turned and looked at me.

"What are you doing up so early?" Yoongi's question was curious and I raised an eyebrow at him.

"I could ask you the same question hyung. What has got you out of bed so early?" I moved closer to the stove, snagging a piece of bacon off the plate that Yoongi had set aside. It was perfect, crisp and flavorful, just the way I love it.

Yoongi shrugged, but I could see the pink tint of blush on his cheeks. "Nothing. Just couldn't sleep."

Unable to stop myself, I snorted out a laugh. "You? You couldn't sleep? You expect me to believe that?" I crossed my arms and leaned against the counter, not believing him for a second.

Yoongi looked down at the pan, but I didn't miss the small smile on his face. "Fine. I wanted... I wanted to make Y/N breakfast. It's her first morning here and I wanted to do something nice for her."

Touched by Yoongi's words, I patted his shoulder. "Don't worry hyung. I won't tease you. At least not much. I was down here to do the same thing. It's a sweet gesture and I'm sure she will love it."

As I sat there with Yoongi, drinking a cup of tea and enjoying a piece of bacon I grabbed from the plate, my mind wandered to the sweet scene I had witnessed between Y/N and Jimin. They had been snuggled so close that not even a slip of paper could get between them and the sight had made me happier than I had expected. Out of all of us, Jimin was the cuddliest, the most snuggliest, and to see him with someone who let him hold her that way helped me see that things were going to be okay, that things would be good between us all.

One by one the others came in, minus Jimin and Y/N, and I couldn't help but relay what I had seen. I knew they would tease him about it, but I also knew it was all in good fun. Even though we would bug him about it, I knew we would be a little envious that he was the only one brave enough to ask to climb into her bed.

"How is this going to work out? The sleeping with her at night?" Jungkook rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm sure we're all going to want to at some point."

Standing up, I moved to Jungkook's side and wrapped an arm around his shoulder. "You've come and gotten in one of our beds so many times that it won't be any different. Just someone softer to hold."

Jungkook shoved my arm off his shoulder, but I could see from the smile on his face that my words had helped. "Yeah. You're... you're probably right."

Leaning forward on the island, Namjoon eyed the five of us sitting there. "We just have to be sure that we don't make it seem like she has to choose. We have to understand that she will be spending time with all of us. I know... I know it might be hard and we might get a little envious, but we need to talk it out too."

"Talk what out?" Jimin came into the kitchen at the end of Namjoon's words, his red hair sticking up, rubbing his eyes sleepily.

"Well... look who just strolled in. The topic of conversation." Hoseok's voice was filled with amusement as he looked over at Jimin.

Jimin's eyes widened and his hand dropped to his side. "Um... what's going on? What are you guys talking about?"

Crossing my arms over my chest, I leveled a look at him, not missing the way the pink blush stained his cheeks. "Nothing much. Just sharing the cute little scene I peeked in on this morning."

The blush intensified and Jimin looked down at his feet. "I... uh... I." His voice trailed off and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Don't worry about it Jimin-hyung. I'm okay with it. We all are." Patting his shoulder, I tried to reassure him that things were going to be okay, that no one was really mad about it all. I could see the relief in his eyes and the way his tiny frame relaxed.

Shrugging his shoulders, Jimin focused on his fingers that were twisting in front of him. "I couldn't help it. Last night I couldn't sleep and when I checked on her, she woke up and..." His voice trailed off again.

From the soft smiles of the other members, I could see that they really weren't bothered by it all. A soft set of footsteps had us all turning to see our pretty soulmate entering the kitchen, a bashful smile on her face.

"Good morning Y/N!" Hoseok's voice was bright, filled with excitement and he hurried over to her, taking her hands and leading her further into the kitchen. My heart fluttered at the sight of her. She had on plaid shorts and a black t-shirt, her face was free of makeup and I had never seen her look more lovely. I couldn't stop the way my heart melted at how soft she looked, how sweet. This was what I wanted to see everyday. My beautiful sleepy soulmate coming into the kitchen, that pretty smile on her face, the happiness clear in her gorgeous eyes. "How did you sleep?"

I didn't miss the way her eyes darted over to Jimin and I couldn't hide the laugh that escaped my lips, one that filtered through the kitchen. "Um... I slept really well. My bed is so comfortable here and I love it. It was perfect."

Jimin moved to her side and slipped an arm around her waist, laying his head on her shoulder. I watched carefully but she seemed perfectly content to let Jimin hang on her, never showing any type of irritation, just the same gentleness that I remembered always seeing with her. "They already know love. TaeTae saw us this morning and blabbed to everyone else." Jimin's voice was resigned as he spoke, making Y/N look down at her feet.

Turning off the stove, Yoongi strode over to Y/N and stood in front of her, taking her hands and directing her attention up to his face. "It's okay honey. We know what this is going to be like. We know you're going to spend time with all of us and it's okay. We knew what we were getting into and it's going to be great. We'll work it out as things happen, okay?"

Y/N nodded and I could see the relief in her eyes, the realization that things were going to be okay. "Okay. I just... I know this is different and probably not what any of you were expecting, but I really want this to work out."

Squeezing her hands, Yoongi pulled her from Jimin's arms and into a hug, his arms coming around to hold her tightly to his chest. "Me too honey. Me too." Kissing her cheek, Yoongi pulled back and grinned. "Now let me make you a plate. I have to feed my pretty soulmate." He led her to the island, to a seat between Jungkook and me and I couldn't stop the grin that spread across my face, feeling like my life was really beginning now.

Namjoon POV:

As we sat there at the breakfast table with our pretty soulmate, I couldn't stop thinking about how lucky I felt, about how fortunate I was to have such a wonderful woman to share my life with. It seemed like something out of a Hallmark movie, one of those cute little shows that played on American television during the holidays, where everyone is happy, where things seem almost like a fairytale. Having my soulmate sitting in front of me felt just like that and I knew that my life with her was going to be beautiful, no matter what challenges we might face in the future.

A ringing from Y/N's phone had us all looking up and her cheeks turned pink in embarrassment, but I could see the nervous excitement as well. "I'm... I'm sorry. It's the Customs Office. I've... I've been waiting to hear about Freyja."

Standing up quickly, she took the call into the other room, her soft voice barely heard from the kitchen. When she had arrived last night, she had let us know that Freyja had been held up in Customs, needing to go through a short screening process before she could be released into the country. It was something we had prepared for beforehand and Y/N had made sure she had all of Freyja's veterinary papers up to date to make the process as smooth as possible. We sat there in silence for a moment, our own nervousness for our soulmate taking over.

Within moments, Y/N was returning to the room, her phone in hand and a bright smile on her face. "Customs said Freyja is cleared to go and I can pick her up at any time."

Picking up my own phone, I gestured towards it. "Let me call Chunghwa-hyung. He can go pick her up for you. It might be a little easier." Y/N went to protest, but I stopped her. "It's okay. Hyung told me before he left that he would be happy to return to the airport for you to pick up your kitty. He couldn't say enough nice things about you yesterday before he left."

Y/N ducked her head shyly, but I grinned. "He was very nice yesterday. And very helpful while I was trying to get through customs."

I wasn't surprised by Chunghwa's raving about her yesterday. It seemed as though everyone that came in contact with our soulmate had nothing but good things to say about her. And I could definitely see why. She was always sweet and kind, caring and generous. Definitely one of the most amazing women I had ever met in my life.

Getting out of my chair, I exited the room and made the call. As expected, Chunghwa was only too happy to return to the airport to pick up the little kitten and said he would leave immediately. After disconnecting the call, I headed back into the kitchen and reclaimed my seat. "He's going to leave now to go get her."

Y/N's smile grew brighter and I knew I would do whatever necessary to see that smile for the rest of my life. "What about your pets? I know you told me a little about them before. where are they?"

"Monie is with my parents. I leave him with them a lot of the time, especially when we go on tour." I thought about my own pet, a sweet white American Eskimo who was soft and fluffy, a cuddly little thing that I adored. "Sometimes it's hard, especially like this year since we were gone for almost seven months."

Reaching over, Y/N placed her hand over mine. "Well I hope you will get to spend some time with them now."

"The same thing is true for my dog, Bam. He usually lives with me, but right now he is in Busan with my family. I'm hoping to bring him back when I go to visit them soon." Jungkook's voice was gentle as he spoke about his puppy. Well I guess you couldn't call Bam a puppy anymore. The dog was huge, but really a good boy.

"He's not going to eat Freyja, is he?" I could hear the amusement as Y/N spoke, knowing she was teasing Jungkook.

"Nah. He hasn't eaten a kitten in days," Jungkook teased back. "But seriously. He's been around kittens before with no trouble so she will be safe. She will probably put him in his place."

We all laughed at his words, imagining the big dog being afraid of a tiny fuzzy kitten that was the size of one of his huge paws. I would be more worried about him accidentally stepping on her instead. "That's good. I'm glad they will get along. What about you?" Y/N turend to Hoseok.

Hoseok shook his head. "No. I love Mickey and would love him to be here, but he's spent so much time with my parents and he's getting up there in age, so it's probably best for him to stay there. He doesn't move as well as he used to so I think the stairs here might be too much." Y/N's eyes turned sad, but Hoseok grinned. "It's okay. I get to see him plenty and Gwanju is not terribly far from here."

"Same thing with Holly." Yoongi's voice spoke up, speaking about his toy poodle. "He's living with my brother now and like Mickey, he's a little older."

"You should see Yoongi-hyung with Holly. He's so cute. He talks to him like a baby. Come here Holly. That's a good boy." We laughed at Jimin's imitation of Yoongi and laughed even harder when he blushed, knowing it was true.

Yoongi shrugged. "I used to not really like dogs, but Holly... he's different." I watched the smile on Y/N's face turn soft as she looked at Yoongi, seeing a side to him that he normally didn't show. The obvious closeness between them was good to see and I was happy to know that their early issue had been completely wiped clean and they had been given the chance to start fresh, start new.

After breakfast, we moved into the living room, taking seats on the comfortable sofa. I laughed as the other members jostled each other good-naturedly for seats next to our pretty soulmate. I slipped in next to her as Hoseok took the other side, knowing it was only fair since Jimin slept in her bed while Jungkook and Taehyung sat next to her at breakfast. Jimin grumbled in protest, but I could see the smile on his lips. He sat down next to Taehyung, resting his head on the taller man's shoulder.

While everyone got comfortable, I looked around the room. Hoseok was showing Y/N pictures of Mickey his parents had sent him, cute ones that showcased the little dog. Jimin and Taehyung were giggling over something on Jimin's phone, their closeness clear as day. Jungkook and Yoongi were shoving each other over, each trying to get closer to Y/N and I couldn't help but laugh at their silliness.

A feeling of wistfulness came over me as I thought about our missing member. I texted him everyday to check on him, see how his break was going. Each time he would tell me that he was being dragged through wedding plans and visiting this shop or trying this cake or looking at this centerpiece. Just from his texts, I could tell he was tired of it all. From the way he spoke, it was clear that Mi-suk wanted a wedding, not a marriage. I wished everyday that Jin would just end the relationship with Mi-suk and accept the fact that Y/N was his soulmate, but I knew it wasn't going to happen. It made me sad for my hyung, but if he didn't make the change, there was nothing I could do.

Pushing the thoughts of Jin from my mind, I turned to Y/N. "Um... Y/N? We still have a break for the next four weeks. Our families... our families want to see us and meet you. Would that be something you would be okay with?"

Even though I could see she was nervous, Y/N nodded her head. "I would like to meet your families. I really would. I just... don't want to embarrass myself in front of them."

Reaching out, I placed my hand over hers, just like she had done to me at breakfast. "It's going to be okay. We will help you with anything you need. Anything at all." I hesitated for a moment then continued. "My mother already knows all about you since I talk about you so much." Y/N's eyes widened and I nodded. "It's true."

And it really was. I had been nervous about telling my parents, just like the other members had been, but my parents had been completely supportive, even knowing that she was soulmate to all of us and not just me. I had been surprised by their reaction, but my mother had told me that she trusted me to make the right decisions for me. Plus she said it was clear in my voice how much I adored Y/N and that was enough for her.

"What about all of us going together? That way we won't be separated from Y/N?" Jimin turned to me, a hopeful look in his eyes. "We can go to Busan to see Jungkookie's and my family then Gwanju and Daegu. We can see your family here in Seoul."

Jimin's suggestion made sense and by the way the others nodded, I could see they agreed with him. We had just spent enough time away from our soulmate and the last thing I wanted was to be separated from her again. We had spent enough time around each other's parents that we felt comfortable with them all, so spending time with them all over break would be welcome.

"That sounds good to me." Yoongi was the first to speak up and we all gave sounds of agreement. "This way we won't have to spend time away from our pretty soulmate."

Y/N smiled shyly at Yoongi's words, but she nodded in agreement as well. "I like that idea. I've spent the entire first part of this relationship away from you so I like the idea of being able to be with all of you."

"Alright." Pulling out my phone, I looked at the next couple of weeks. "The best way to get to Gwanju and Daegu is by train then Busan is just a short trip from there."

"The train ride is really pretty." Jungkook's voice was filled with excitement as he spoke. "We can rent a private car and it will be fun."

Y/N nodded her head at the suggestions. "Sounds like fun to me. You all are more familiar with how to travel here, so I trust you. And I'm pretty sure you're not going to leave me stranded somewhere."

"Definitely not your first few weeks here. Maybe in a couple of years when we tire of each other." Yoongi's tone was flat, but I could see by the twinkling in his eyes and the slight curve to his lips that there was no way in hell that was happening. We all laughed at his words, including Y/N and I knew that things were going to be okay.

The ringing of the doorbell distracted me and when I looked down at my phone again, I saw that Chunghwa had texted me that he was here with Freyja. "Y/N? I think that's for you."

A tiny squeal of excitement left her lips and I couldn't help but coo over how sweet my soulmate was. Hoseok stood then pulled her to her feet, holding her hand and leading her to the door. Pulling the door open, Hoseok stepped back, allowing Chunghwa to enter the apartment. He had a little purple cat carrier in one hand and from the tiny meows coming from it, I could tell the little kitten was not pleased, but I couldn't really blame it. I hated long flights too so it must be even worse when locked in a tiny carrier.

Taking the carrier from Chunghwa, Hoseok thanked him, Y/N echoing it happily and I grinned when Chunghwa's smile turned soft as he looked at her. "It is no problem. You need something? You have Namjoon-ah call me, okay?"

Y/N nodded. "Thank you again. So much."

Jimin hurried over to the little carrier and crouched down in front of it. "Hi kitty. That long flight sucks, doesn't it? But don't worry. You're home now." He looked up at Y/N, his eyes hopeful. "Can I take her out?" At her instant approval, Jimin unlatched the door and lifted out the tiny animal, holding her close to his chest. "Welcome to Korea."

"Freyja's going to know more Korean than I do!" Y/N laughed out loud and I couldn't help but do the same, listening as Jimin's words switched back and forth as he baby talked the little cat. "Let's show her where her stuff is so she doesn't have an accident somewhere she isn't supposed to."

Jimin nodded then carried Freyja down the hall to Y/N's bedroom, to where she placed the little animal's stuff in her bathroom. We all trailed after, wanting to see how the kitten adapted to her new home. Jimin set her down in the bathroom and when she climbed into the plastic box, we left her in there to do her business. Within moments, she was coming back into the room, sniffing everything in sight then wound around my legs. I bent down and pet the top of her head, smiling when she stretched for more attention. The kitten moved over to Y/N's bed and hopped onto it. She walked around in a circle for a moment before lying down, looking at us all like Yep! This will do nicely.

As I watched the smile on Y/N's face, the smile that was mirrored on everyone else's, I couldn't help but think the same thing.
