Jungkook POV:

"Oh god.  Why is it taking so long?"  Taehyung paced back and forth across the new apartment, his socked feet wearing lines in the freshly vacuumed carpet.  His words were impatient and I knew he was looking forward to seeing Y/N, seeing the woman that had changed all of our lives for the better, the woman who had stolen all of our hearts in a second.

When he strode past me, I grabbed his wrist then dragged him over to the plush dark grey sofa, trying to calm him down a bit.  "Sit down with me.  It's going to be okay.  She will be here sooner than you think then we have our whole lives to spend with her."  My voice sounded calmer than I actually felt and I had to stop myself from jumping up and pacing with him, letting him know that I was doing everything I could to hold it all in.  Our soulmate was in Korea, physically in Korea, and I couldn't be more excited than I already was.

Looking down at the message from Y/N, I couldn't help but smile.  She had sent us all a message in the group chat that Namjoon had created, letting us know that her plane had landed safely.  As much as I would have loved to go to the airport and pick her up, be there when she got off the plane, I knew it was for our safety.  We had sent one of our lesser-known bodyguards, Dae Chunghee, to pick her up, someone we didn't think ARMY would be able to recognize, if anyone saw him.  The last thing we needed was someone connecting her to us, especially before she was ready.

Standing up, I headed over to the room we had set up for her.  Jimin was standing in the door, a small smile on his face as his eyes roved over everything.  We had taken our time setting it up and I knew he was picturing her in there, something I had done so many times already.  Simple things like standing in front of the closet and picking out clothes, sitting in the window seat that overlooked the river with a book in hand, enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning on the small little balcony or a glass of wine in the evening.  I couldn't wait until she was here with us, here with us permanently.

"Excited?"  I touched Jimin's shoulder and he looked over at me, his eyes filled with eagerness.

"It's funny.  Whenever I thought about falling in love, I always imagined she would be sweet and funny, kind and caring.  It was what I always wanted and I used to tell my mom that.  It's hard to believe that everything I dreamed of is coming true."  Jimin's voice was soft as he spoke, his eyes still on the room.  "Part of me is scared that everything is going to fall apart and she's going to decide she doesn't want us, want me."

I moved my arm around Jimin's shoulder, pulling the smaller man close to my side.  "Stop.  Don't think those things.  Y/N loves you.  Just like you love her.  You have to have faith in that and don't think bad thoughts."  Seeing Jimin doubt himself like this hurt my heart since he had done this so many times before, never believing he was good enough, never believing he was enough.  It had gotten better over the years, but to see it in regards to our soulmate, the woman who obviously adored him, adored us all, made my heart break a little for him.

"She said she loves me."

"I know."

Jimin looked over at me, the small smile still on his face, but this time a little more genuine, a little more real, a little less hesitant.  "Whenever we had a conversation, either through video chatting, talking on the phone, or messaging, before we say goodbye, she would always tell me she loves me.  Every single time.  There wasn't a conversation that ended without it."

Seeing the love in his eyes, hearing it in his voice as he talked about our soulmate, made some of the anxiety I was feeling in my own mind start to fade.  I had seen her with Jimin, with the rest of us and it was clear that she was sincere, that she was serious about wanting to see where this all could go, what it could be, what we could be together.  "Do you believe her?"

Jimin nodded, no doubt anywhere on his face or in his tone.  "I do.  Y/N... everything she is feeling shows in her eyes.  I think if she didn't mean it, it would show.  So yeah.  I do believe she loves me."

"Then don't worry about anything else.  It's all going to work itself out.  Things are going to be okay.  I can feel it."  And I really did believe it.  I knew having the nervousness about it all was normal, especially considering that our relationship was definitely unconventional, not something normal.

Jimin was silent for a moment, his eyes back on the room again, clearly looking to make sure it was perfect, that it was everything we hoped she would want it to be. "Did you tell your parents yet?"

"I did.  I called them last night and we talked about it.  They're worried, but they trust my judgment and that's all I can ask for."  The conversation with my parents had been nerve wracking at first and I was worried that they were going to think I was crazy for falling so fast, for believing in soulmates, but they had adapted surprisingly well.

Although I had thought my mother would be the one to cave first, it had actually been my father.  He had told me that he would trust me to do what I knew was right and that he couldn't wait to meet the woman who had stolen my heart.  When he had said that, I had stared at him in shock for a moment.  He had laughed at my response, telling me my love for her was as clear as day and that he couldn't help but believe me.

"Yeah mine too.  I really thought they would be a little more hesitant about it all, but they were surprisingly supportive. Told me that they could see that I loved her, that there was no way I didn't.  It... it made me feel like this was going to be alright."  I could hear the relief in Jimin's voice and knew it was important for his family to support his love for the woman he was going to spend his life with.

Jimin turned away from the door and headed back into the living room, leaving me staring into Y/N's room.  I couldn't help but be worried.  Would she like the apartment?  Would she like the things we chose for her?  Would she like the way we decorated her room?  Would she think it was too simple or would she be happy with it?  When we had visited her in the US, her apartment was decorated very simply, pretty but not over extravagant and it helped give an insight into her personality.  Just like I had thought, she liked the simple and understated, things that were delicate, but not super expensive.

Taehyung and Hoseok had laughed as they told us about taking her into Cartier in Paris.  Taehyung had showed her the most ostentatious jewelry, ones that she had shaken her head at, but had loved the pretty understated pieces.  It was why when we went shopping for her room, or when Namjoon had the idea to get her a welcome home gift, I had gone for things that reminded me of her.  It was why I had picked up the silk scarf.  It reminded me of her: beautiful but subdued.

Giving the room one last look, I made my way into the kitchen.  It was just as pretty as the rest of the apartment.  The cabinets were all a honey colored wood, a shade lighter than the wood floors.  All the counter tops, along with the top of island, was a dark grey and we had decided on an almost silvery grey for the walls.  I wondered if she would hate it all, want to change it.  I almost wished we had waited for her to arrive before having it all painted, but we wanted it to be ready for her, ready for her to arrive.

The dining room was massive and the dark wood table was big enough for all of us, including a couple extra spaces, just in case.  Part of me hoped that Jin would eventually come to his senses, break up with Mi-suk and accept Y/N as his soulmate, but as time went on, I knew the chance of that was becoming less and less.  He hadn't even thought about saying yes when we invited him over tonight.  He had immediately turned the question down, but from the sadness in his eyes, I knew there was part of him that wanted to stay, part of him that wanted to be there.

Thinking of Jin made my chest ache with hurt for him.  I knew he was miserable, but if he wasn't willing to help himself then there was nothing we could do.  Jin's parents were extremely traditional, more so than any of our families, and I had a feeling that if Jin mentioned he had a soulmate, they would brush it off, not believe him.  I really did like his parents, but sometimes being around them made me grateful that mine were a little more open-minded.  It made the confession of having a soulmate a little easier.

I headed back into the living room, laughing when I saw Taehyung pacing again.  From the way he fiddled with his fingers, I could see he was trying to hold in his excitement.  Hoseok and Yoongi were on the sofa, phones in hand, and I knew they were trying to distract themselves.  Jimin had found a spot on the arm of the sofa, hovering over Namjoon and I grinned, knowing he was probably hounding Namjoon for updates.

A ding from Namjoon's phone had us all looking over expectantly.  Namjoon opened the message and grinned then looked up at the rest of us, a smile brighter than anything I've ever seen on his face.  "Y/N's here.  Our soulmate is here."

Oh man! Holy shit!

Jimin POV:

Namjoon's words sent a rush of excitement and when I attempted to stand, my foot got caught on the edge of the sofa and I tumbled off the edge, landing on my ass on the thick carpet.  "Damn Jiminie!  Still falling for her?"   Taehyung's voice was filled with amusement and it helped to break the tension that had suddenly filled the room, the uncertainty of how things were going to go, what her initial reactions were going to be.

Standing up, Namjoon offered me a hand, smoothly pulling me to my feet.  "Chunghee-hyung is just getting her key cards and they'll be right up."  I could tell from the shakiness in his voice that he was nervous and I squeezed his hand in reassurance before letting go.  Namjoon gave me a grateful smile and I knew he was feeling a little bit more secure about it all, a little less hesitant.

Knowing my soulmate would be here in just minutes, I opened the front door to the apartment and hurried over to the elevator, Jungkook and Taehyung right behind me.  At the moment I felt lucky that we had the only apartment on the floor and it required key card access.   It would ensure our privacy, along with Y/N's.  Looking around the foyer, I wondered if she would like it, if it were her style.  It was really pretty, with marble floors and light colored walls.  There was a table by the door with a flower arrangement, something with lilies and carnations, after Jungkook learned they were her favorite.

I heard the ding from the elevator and my heart stopped then suddenly started racing in anticipation.  This was it!  The doors opened and the love of my life stood in front of me, a smile on her face as she caught my eye.  "Y/N."  Her name left my lips in a soft whisper and the moment she stepped out of the elevator, I moved forward and swept her into my arms, not caring who was watching or about Chunghee standing next to her.  "You're here!  You're finally here!"

Y/N laughed, the musical sound filling up the space and I couldn't help but grin right along with her.  "I'm here."  Her voice sounded just as excited as mine and I knew without a doubt that things were going to be okay, that she was happy to be here with us, with me.

I hugged her tightly, wanting to kiss her right then and there, but I knew it wasn't the right moment, not with everyone standing there, so I settled for a quick peck on her cheek.  "I'm so happy to see you love.  I've missed you so much."

"Me too Jimin.  Me too."  Y/N's hand brushed my hair from my face and my heart fell in love all over again at the gentleness of her hands, the sweetness in her voice.

"Alright hyung.  Don't hog our soulmate."  Jungkook's voice came out in a mock pout, his arms crossed over his broad chest.  "We want to hug her too."

Although I didn't want to, I released her, my heart flipping over in my chest, when she hugged the younger two, giving them the same love and attention she gave me.  "Come on princess.  As much as I would like to stay here hugging you, everyone wants to see you."  Taehyung took her hand, lacing her fingers with his and led her into the apartment.

Y/N turned around to grab her bag, but Chunghee shook his head, a smile on his face.  "Go ahead Ms. Y/N.  I will take care of bags."  Y/N went to protest, but he shook his head again.  "No.  I insist.  You insist on buying coffee in airport then I insist on carrying bags."

"Thank you.  I appreciate it."  Y/N's voice was polite as she spoke and when she turned to follow Taehyung into the apartment, Chunghee looked over at me.

"Your soulmate?  Very nice.  Very nice girl."  Chunghee gestured towards Y/N and I couldn't help but nod in agreement.

I hurried towards the door, eager to see Y/N's reactions.  I watched her carefully, looking for any sign of dislike as she stepped through the front door of our new home, the home we had decorated hoping she would like it but there was none.  Nothing but eyes filled with awe and a smile that never dimmed.  Yoongi, Hoseok, and Namjoon were waiting just inside the door and the instant she cleared it and slipped off her shoes, they were surrounding her with hugs, showing her the love and adoration we all felt.  I heard Yoongi say something that made her laugh then duck her head, the shyness visible on her face.

"Come on.  We'll show you around."  Namjoon's voice was eager as he tugged her away from Yoongi and Hoseok.

Y/N nodded and from the nervous smile on her face, I knew that she was a little overwhelmed by it all.  I didn't want to assume that she didn't want to be here because I could see that wasn't it.  It definitely had more to do with being in a brand new country, suddenly surrounded by your soulmates, living in a new house with them.  It could be intimidating for anyone and I vowed to be understanding about it all, do my best to help her acclimate without putting too much on her too soon.

Namjoon led her further into the living room and I watched her eyes widen at the view of the Han River, the glitter of boats slowly making their way down visible from the floor to ceiling glass.  "Oh my goodness!  This is beautiful!"  Y/N's voice was filled with wonder and it helped the little tinge of worry I was feeling start to dissipate.  "This place is so beautiful!  I love it!"

"Oh honey.  You haven't even seen half of it yet!"  I could hear the amusement as Yoongi spoke and we all laughed, including Y/N.  "And if you think this is beautiful then wait until you see your room."

Y/N grinned then reached out and squeezed Yoongi's hand.  His fingers immediately laced with hers and I could see the pink blush on his cheeks.  "If it is half as perfect as this then I will love it just as much."

Nodding his head, Yoongi led her into the kitchen.  I could hear the gasp of surprise.  "I like to cook so we wanted to make sure the kitchen was nice."  Yoongi gestured towards the room, a sheepish smile on his face.

"We can cook together, right?"  Y/N's voice was hesitant and I could see the uncertainty in her pretty eyes.  "I love to cook."

"Sounds good to me honey."  Yoongi squeezed her hand and I couldn't help but smile as I watched the two of them interact.  I rarely saw Yoongi so soft with anyone outside of our group, so to see him with Y/N was beautiful to watch.

We continued the rest of the tour and as expected, Y/N loved every bit of it.  We showed her our individual rooms and I couldn't help but laugh as she shook her head at Jungkook's, a shocked look on her face as she saw all of his gaming equipment and computers.  He just kind of shrugged and grinned.  When we got to Yoongi's, she turned and looked at him, a hint of a smirk on her face.  "Is this that comfortable bed you mentioned?"  Yoongi blushed and ducked his head, popping it up when Y/N spoke again.  "You going to let me try it?"

The hallway was silent for a moment before we all burst into laughter, grateful for the way our soulmate was able to dispel the last remaining tension.  As we continued the tour, I couldn't take my eyes off of my soulmate.  The kindness in her eyes, the gentleness of her hands never changed.  It was the same from one to the next and seeing that made me feel that things were going to be okay, that we were going to be okay.

The final stop on the tour was Y/N's bedroom.  Hoseok, his bottom lip caught between his teeth, pushed the door open, his eyes on Y/N's face.  Her mouth dropped open and the delight on her face was as clear as a summer sky.  "It's so beautiful!  I love it!  I love it so much!"

Taehyung moved to her side, a hint of worry in his words.  "If there is anything you don't like, please let us know and we can change it.  The color, the bedding, anything."

Y/N whirled towards him.  "Don't you even think about it!  I love it and it's perfect!"

Laughter filled the hallway at the determination in her voice, the sincerity and I knew we didn't have anything to worry about.  She stepped into the room and set her shoulder bag on the padded bench that Taehyung had found at an antique store.  I watched her as she wandered the room, her fingers trailing along the dresser, the posters holding up the sheer curtains.  When she turned to us, I could see the sheen of tears in her eyes, turning them misty.  At first, my heart plummeted to my feet thinking she was upset, but the smile on her face was enough to chase those worries away.

"Th-thank you so much.  This is even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined."  Y/N's voice was shaky and I hurried to her side, pulling her into a hug.

"Don't cry love.  You're our soulmate.  We will do anything to make you happy."  Moving my lips to her cheek, I gave her a soft kiss.  "I love you.  I want you to be happy here."

Y/N tightened her arms around my neck.  "I love you too Jimin and I'm so happy I'm here.  So happy."

Wishing I could have a longer moment with her, but knowing Y/N would want to get settled in, I reluctantly released her.  "Do you need any help unpacking?"

A smile on her face, Y/N shook her head.  "I can handle it, but if you want to stay with me, that would be okay."

"Sounds good to me."  Yoongi flopped down on the bench and we all laughed, the happy sound spilling throughout the room.  As I looked around the room, I couldn't help but grin at the sight, at the happy sounds filling the room.  This is what love should feel like, exactly like this.

***

Later that night, I lay in my bed, unable to sleep.  The evening with our soulmate couldn't have been more perfect.  After she unpacked, we ordered in food and just spent time together catching up.  I knew the flight was long and she had to be exhausted, the sleepiness showing in her pretty eyes.  She had insisted she was fine, but we had convinced her to go to bed, to get a good night's sleep and we would be able to spend more time together in the morning.  We had stayed up for another hour after she had finally relented, talking about just how happy we were, how beautifully everything had gone.

Now I was here, my mind racing with thoughts, wondering how things would go from here on out.  Unable to stay there any longer, I climbed out of my bed, hesitant about my next moves.  More than anything, I wanted to go snuggle with my soulmate, go spend time with her since it seemed like there was never enough time.  But would she be okay with it?

Before I could convince myself to get back in bed, I opened the door to my room and headed down the hall to her room.  The door was cracked open and it made me feel good, knowing she trusted us enough to leave her door open, that she trusted her soulmates enough.  Hesitating for a moment more, I slowly pushed the door open and stepped into the room.  The movement was enough to disturb her because she shifted in the bed and sat up, her eyes unfocused and sleepy.

"Y/N?"  My voice was soft, not wanting to startle her.  "I'm so sorry.  I didn't... I didn't mean to wake you, but..." My voice trailed off and I wasn't sure how to continue.

Y/N rubbed her eyes then grinned at me, pulling back the covers and patting the spot next to her.  "Come on."

Stunned by her quick acceptance, I hurried over to the side of the bed and climbed in next to her.  "Are you sure?"  I didn't want her to think that she had to let me be here.  I wanted her to know that she could tell me to leave, that she wasn't ready for me to be here, but she just nodded, her hand reaching out for mine.  Seeing the sincerity in her eyes, I grinned then lay down next to her.  I wavered for one more moment then pulled her into my arms.  I didn't miss the smile that crossed her face as I held her close to me, wrapping my arms around her waist.

"This... this is nice."  Y/N's voice was low, but when she looked up at me, I could see the happiness in her eyes, the moonlight coming through the window creating a glow on her face that made this moment seem like something from a fairy tale, something that couldn't be real.

"Yeah love.  It is."  Studying her face for a moment, I leaned in, pressing my lips to hers.  Y/N's arms immediately came around my neck, hugging me tight, and I deepened the kiss, swiping my tongue over her lips and slipping it between them when they parted.  As I continued to kiss her, I knew that this was all I would ever want, for now and the rest of my life.
