Diane Lorraine was shot twice.
Lucky for her, neither were fatal.
Diane: "Where... am I?"
Nurse: "You're in the hospital, ma'am."
"What... what happened?"
"You... you've been shot two times. But, neither wounds were fatal, and the bullets have been taken out. So you mustn't worry. You've got one hell of a luck."
Officer: "Can she speak now? We need descriptions as soon as possible."
Nurse: "I don't think that would be a good idea as of now. She just woke up."
Diane: "It's... fine. I can... manage. I'll... speak."
Officer: "Excellent. I can see that you're a very strong young woman. Now tell me, did you see who shot you? And if so, can you recall anything about them? Maybe their facial features or what they were wearing."
Diane went on to explain how she couldn't see them clearly from afar.
Then she answered a couple more questions until the officer thanked her and left.
She knew full well who shot her.
She was lying.
