You know when you're drowning, you don't actually inhale until right before you blackout. It's called voluntary apnea. It's like no matter how much you're freaking out, the instinct to not let any water in is so strong that you won't open your mouth until you feel like your head's exploding. But then when you finally do let it in, that's when it stops hurting. It's not scary anymore. It's actually kind of peaceful." I said playing with my fingers
"Are you saying you hope Matt felt some peace in his last moments?" Ms.Morrell asked me which caused me to exhale.
"I don't feel sorry for him." I said looking up
"Can you feel sorry for the nine-year-old Matt who drowned?" Ms.Morrell asked me
"Just because a bunch of dumbasses dragged him into a pool when he couldn't swim, doesn't really give him the right to go off killing them one by one. And also papa Stilinski told me that they found a bunch of pictures of me and Allison on Matt's computer. And not just of us by ourselves though. I mean he photoshopped himself into these pictures. Stuff like us holding hands and kissing same for Allison's pictures. You know, like he had built these fake relationships. So yeah, maybe drowning when he was nine years old was what set him off the rails, but he was definitely riding the crazy train." I said
"One positive thing came out of this, though." Ms.Morrell said referring to Papa Stilinski getting his job back and also dating my mom.
"Yeah. He makes my mom really happy and I'm glad he got his job back. Although I feel this tension when I talk to Stiles and Scott." I said
"Have you talked to them since that night?" Ms. Morrell asked me
"Stiles yes and Scott not as much but I mean he has his own problem to deal with." I said referring to how Mama McCall hasn't really talked or been in the same room as him since that night at the station when she found out he was a werewolf.
"How are you and Isaac? I know he's one of the three one aways" Ms.Morrell asked me
"We actually broke up, it's kinda complicated."I said looking down at my hands
"Why is that?" Ms.Morrell asked
"Um, it's one of those things where we realized right now is not the best time for us to be together and we're just gonna see what happens in the future and another reason." I said keeping the part about the fact I still had feelings for Scott to myself.
"And how are you feeling?" Ms. Morrell
"Besides my panic attacks? I feel like something terrible going to happen and no matter what I can't get rid of the feeling." I said finally looking back up
"It's called hypervigilance it's the persistent feeling of being under threat."
"But it's not just a feeling, though it's like it's a panic attack. You know, like I can't even breathe." I explained
"Like you're drowning?" Ms. Morrell asked
"Yeah." I deadpanned
"So if you're drowning, and you're trying to keep your mouth closed until that very last moment, What if you choose to not open your mouth? To not let the water in?"Ms.Morrell asked me
"Well, you do anyway. It's a reflex." I said kinda confused
"But if you hold off until that reflex kicks in, you have more time, right?"
"Not much time."
"But more time to fight your way to the surface?"
"I guess." I said shrugging
"More time to be rescued."
"More time to be in agonizing pain. Did you forget about the part where you feel like your head's exploding?" I snapped a little
"If it's about survival, isn't a little agony worth it?"
"And what if it just gets worse? What if it's agony now, and then... Then it's just hell later on?" I asked
"Then think about something Winston Churchill once said, "If you're going through hell, keep going." Ms. Morrell said which caused me to think

It was after my session and I met up with Stiles since we've become closer since we found out about our parents dating and since they've also become closer and are moving in together which means Stiles and Papa Stilinski would move into the big house with us since my mom likes it better but they would also have clothes and Stiles would have a room at the brown house.
"What's up almost bro."I greeted Stiles
"Will you please stop with that, our parents aren't even engaged nor have me and my dad moved in yet. I still can't believe they've been dating these past couple of months and we only now just found out. " Stiles said rolling his eyes
"Exactly yet and you're literally moving in this weekend. I'm also with you on the last part" I said matter-factly
"True, you're still coming to the game right?" Stiles asked me
"Yep and apparently we going out to dinner afterward with our parents so that should be fun."I said starting to walk to class
"Can't wait." Stiles said jokingly which caused me to playfully slap his arm. "No, but seriously I'm happy for them, I haven't seen my dad this happy since my mom."
"Same I mean they make each other so happy. But let's get to class." I said with a smile

"Wait Gerard did what!?!" I screeched to Scott once he told me what happened this morning since he called me over saying he had something to tell me
"Yeah, he came into my room and had Jackson my mom up against the wall by the throat. He treated to do worse if I didn't get him Derek and the pack." Scott said
"Oh, Hell No! nobody messes with Mama McCall. I swear I will end him if I ever see him again."I said through gritted teeth
"Ella calm down, the Argents can't know about your siren side remember? Plus I'm taking care of it." Scott said
"Fine but I swear if they hurt Mama McCall or Stiles again I'm going all WereSiren on their ass, I know sometimes I forget that I have the powers but I mean it." I said trying to calm down
Scott was about to say something when my phone rang. When I checked it was a text from Derek.

I quickly put my phone away and bid Scott goodbye before going to meet up with Derek.
"What's up ?" I asked as soon as I walked in
"Boyd and Erica are leaving tonight and I don't know what going to happen with the Argents and the Kanima on the loose."Derek said rubbing his face.
"Don't worry we got this and I'll put a protection spell on Erica and Boyd, I mean it's not much but it will last until they're somewhere safe."I said
"Thanks, El." Derek tells me
"No prob Derek."I said giving him a quick pat on the shoulder before leaving.
Once I made it to my car I was shocked to see Isaac standing in front of my car.
"What's up Ike?"I asked as I got closer
"I need to talk to you about something." Isaac said not meeting my eyes
"If it's about you leaving with Erica and Boyd I already know and I can't tell you what to do but I will say it's a bad idea."I said
"I honestly don't know what I'm gonna do but I just in case I wanted to say goodbye."Isaac said hugging me.
"Just know if you do go I'll miss you and be safe." I said tearing up a little because no matter what Isaac will always be one of my best friends.
"I'll miss you too and I want you to promise me no matter what you'll follow your heart and don't let the past hold you back."Isaac said wiping my tears away
"I promise."I said kissing him on the cheek and before I knew it he was gone

I was with Mama McCall in the locker room since I liked hearing Coach's speech
"Hey Sti good luck tonight. "I said hugging him once I saw him
"Thanks, El but you know I'm probably not gonna play."Stiles said
"Well still."I said waving him off
Before he could respond Coach came out of know where
"Good Morning, In less than an hour, aircraft from here will be joining others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind." Coach Finstock began
"What?" Mama McCall said looking around confused
"Mankind. That word should have a new meaning for all of us today."Coach Finstock said continuing his speech
"What the hell is he talking about?" Mama McCall asked me and Stiles
"He does this every year."Stiles said shrugging his shoulders
"Seriously?"Mama McCall asked
"Yeah."Stiles and I deadpanned
"We are fighting for our right to live."Coach Finstock said causing everyone to cheer
"Wait is this..." Mama McCall said catching on
"Yep, it's the speech from Independence Day."I said in amusement
"But as the day the world declared in one voice... " Coach said getting even more excited
"Coach's Favorite Movie."Stiles explained
"We will not go quietly into the night!"
"He doesn't know any sports speeches?"Mama McCall asked
"I don't think he cares."Stiles deadpanned
"Today we celebrate our independence day!" Coach said causing us all to cheer
Before anyone could say anything Gerard appeared out of nowhere which caused me to let out a low growl when I felt Mama McCall tense up next to me which caused me to hug her.
"Well spoken, coach. I might have chosen something with a little more historical value, but there's no denying your passion. and while I haven't been long, there's no denying my pride in having a winning team for this school. I know you'll all be brilliant tonight, Even with only one co-captain leading you. Now, I'm your principal, but I'm also a fan. So don't think I'll be content to watch you merely beat this team. Get out there and murder them." Gerard said which made me want to lung at him but Stiles stopped me before I could.
"You heard the man. Asses on the field!" Coach said
Me and Mama McCall made our way to the belchers where we sat by my mom and Papa Stilinski, I secretly put a protection spell on Stiles so if he got hurt it wouldn't hurt as bad I also cheered as Stiles made his way onto the field.
"Oh, no. Why is my son running on the field?"Papa Stilinski asked shaking his head
"Because he's on the team?" Mama McCall questioned causing me and my mom to laugh.
"He is." Papa Stilinski said with a look of realization."He's on the team. He's on the field. My son is on the field!" Papa Stilinski shouted standing up causing people to look at him and me to stifle a laugh.
The game went on and let's say we were getting crushed and at some point, Lydia sat next to me I also saw Isaac go on the field. I felt bad for Stiles because every time he got the ball he got tackled. As Isaac went to hurt another play which I'm guessing was to help put Scott in the game I felt pain shoot to my neck and I then saw Isaac fall which caused the game to pause. After they took him away Stiles scored a goal, I then felt the need to protect Isaac so I made my way to the locker room where he was surrounded by 3 hunters, I took the one on the left out as Scott got the one on the right but sadly Gerard got away.
We made our way back to the field to see the timer run out which caused us to cheer since nothing happened but then the lights went out and I found my mom and Papa Stilinski, when the lights came back on there was a body on the field and Stiles was missing. Turns out the body was Jackson and he did it to himself.
