Kentrell pov
Starr opened the door letting me and k3 in the house. She went to get p and A'mari. When A'mari came downstairs her face was lite up but it changed when she saw me. Damn am I that bad.
Me. Get your stuff
She went and got it. Her and p came down. I hugged k3 and baby k and we left. I dropped p off and I drove to the house. The detective called me saying that A'mari has to go tell them what she saw the day her dad died.
Me. Say You gone go with a detective. When they ask you what you saw you better say the people had ski masks on
She didn't even look at me.
Me. You understand
She didn't answer so I showed her the video of us killing her dad

She nodded as tears rolled down her face. We got out the car. I got her stuff and she went in her room still silently crying.

She left with the detective
A'mari pov
I looked down at my lap as tears continued to roll down my face. When we made it to the place we got out going in. They had me seat in the chair. Then they started asking me questions
Detective. Did you notice your father acting weird before he was murded
My hands started shaking
Me. He kelp saying that he loved me. Then he said if he die he'll be watching over me and that he loves me.

I started hyperventilating and crying harder I think I'm having a anxiety attack.

I got a call I answered the phone

??. We have A'mari James in the hospital and your on the paper as emergency contact
Me. What hospital and what happened?
??. Baptis hospital and we can't tell you over the phone.
I hung up putting my shoes on. I got my keys going outside. I locked the door getting in my car driving to the hospital parking. When I went in and said who I'm here for they took me to her room. She's connected to a I'v, a breathing mask and her face has dried up tears
Me. What happened?
Nurse. She had an anxiety attack which caused her to have a asthma attack and she passed out. When she got here her heartbeat stopped for about 18 seconds
Me. Is she ok?
Nurse. Yea she woke up about 2 minutes ago before going to sleep.
I nodded she walked out. I sat down getting on my phone.
20 minutes later
I hard the little hart meter thing going crazy
I looked seeing A'mari up. She was crying. A nurse came in.
A'mari pov
I woke up looking over seeing kentrell. My eyes filled with tears. I don't wanna be in trouble tears rolled down my face and I felt my hart racing
A nurse came in taking all the stuff off me saying
Nurse. She can go now
She let me put my cloths back on we left. When we got in the car I stared out the window the whole ride

I shook my head just staring out the window. When we got to the house. I went in my room. And as always he locked me in here. I took my shoes off changing my pants putting gym shorts on. Then I laid down putting cartoons on the tv.
My phone started ringing. I looked seeing it was granny
Granny. Hey baby
Me. Hey granny
Granny. What's wrong?
Me. Nothing
Granny. Then why it look like you been crying?
Me. I don't know
She gave me this look Before saying

Tears started rolling down my face. I wanna tell her so bad but he's gone kill me.

I got up putting my shoes on and got 2 of my inhalers putting them in my pocket.
Uncle. Call me back
I nodded he hung up I went downstairs and we got in the car
Kentrell. Since you didn't tell you can go see your family for the full day.

My smile dropped when we got to my granny house I got out going to to the door I knocked on the door
Granny opened the door and smiled. She hugged me letting me in

They hugged me. Auntie looks so much like my momma.
My auntie came downstairs * auntie aliyah*
Auntie aliyah is my daddy sister. Auntie Arianna is my momma sister and my uncle Andrew is my momma brother and my momma other brother is uncle Austin. She has more siblings. And I also have cousins on my mom side.
Granny. You hungry
I nodded we went in the dinning room

I shrugged looking up as granny sat a plate in front of me. I started eating after i finshed eating granny gave me my juice

I looked and smiled going to hug him. He's the oldest out of my momma and her siblings. She would be 37 my auntie Arianna is 38 my uncle Austin is 44 and uncle Andrew is 42 and again theres more.

I shrugged he picked me up kissing my cheek.

Granny. I need to go grocery shopping y'all wanna go
Me, and my aunties nodded. We got in the car and granny drove to the store

I shook my head no we went into target and she got a lot of food

I looked at her she slide my sleeve up my arms are really skinny and you can see my ribs though my shirt . They gasped

They started putting more stuff granny paid we got to the car she put it in the trunk

I nodded smiling I gotta enjoy the time I have with them while he letting me

I nodded we went back to her house and help put the food up

Granny put a movie on and putting snacks on the table.

Kam got up going outside to see his momma. I laid on my auntie Arianna lap. I started falling to sleep
1 hour later
I jumped out my sleep crying because I just had a nightmare about my dad again.
Granny. Come here
I went to her and she held me rocking me back and forth. My chest started getting tight. I went in my pocket getting my inhaler. I used it I laid on granny chest she rubbed my back.
Later
I hugged and kissed everybody going to get in the car with kentrell. I put my seat belt on and he drove off I stared out the window till we got to the house. I went in my room took a good shower and laid down going to sleep.
