Mr Kim: How can you be so mean with your father? I'm waiting for the day you will find a woman... I will be the one to laugh of you!
Jin: Seriously, what do you plan to do with Jungkook? I know that he did something terrible but I'm sure that he regrets it and he will never do anything that can harm them in the future.
Mr Kim stayed silent few seconds. He first thought about sending him in a school abroad, but Yejin will not let him do that either.
Mr Kim: We will discuss about this tonight. As a family.
Jin: Okay. You should go home and refresh yourself; I can stay here and keep an eye on Mrs Son.
Mr Kim: The doc will come in 30 minutes, if he agrees, we will leave just after.
Jin: Do you want me to organize a nurse for the after care?
Mr Kim: No, I want to take her in a center specialized for well being and health. I found one last night.
Jin: Father, it's kind of you but you should maybe talk to Y/N first. I don't know if she is ready to be apart of her mother so soon after what happened.
Mr Kim: You're right... I'm too selfish sometimes.
In the hospital room, Y/N and Yejin had an honest discussion. Y/N explained to her mother what happened at home last night and how Yoongi helped her to go through this. Yejin was relieved that the boys were there to take care of her daughter in her absence. She asked Y/N if she thought to be able to continue to live in their house and the little girl was true with her feelings.
Y/N: I... I want to stay with them...
Mrs Son: Even with Jungkook in the house? (She asked, frankly.)
Y/N: I know that he doesn't like me but... I am happy to have big brothers... As Yoongi Oppa said... we shared good moments... and I want to have more...
Mrs Son: Do you think that you can forgive him one day?
Y/N: I don't know... (She said in a low tone.)
Mrs Son: It's alright. I'm happy that you found your place in this family, I'm truly relieved. But keep in mind that if one day you feel the need to live somewhere else, Mommy will do everything to offer you a good life.
Y/N made a long hug with her mother. Outside, Mr Kim and Jin were looking at them with a warm smile. Mr Kim felt a huge weight flying out.
Jin and his father entered the room and Y/N let go of her mother. They barely had the time to talk that the doctor and a nurse came in. He asked everyone to leave the room. Jin left to buy a coffee and give the opportunity to his father to talk with the little girl.
Mr Kim: Y/N... can we talk a little?. (She nodded and followed him to the garden. They sat on a bench) How are you doing? Your cheek seems less swollen that yesterday.
Y/N:Yes... I imagine that Jin Oppa talked to you about last night...
Mr Kim: He told me that you had a difficult moment, but you seem well now. Are you really fine? You can be honest with me.
Y/N: I'm fine. I was scared, Mom was not there, I felt alone for a moment... I'm sorry... I caused troubles again.
Mr Kim: You never caused troubles; my idiot sons are responsible. (She looked down, embarrassed.) Y/N... if you don't feel at ease to live with us because of Jungkook, I can find a place for him to live, a boarding school.
Y/N stared at Mr Kim. His gaze was reflecting his emotions.
Y/N: No... you don't have to send him away. I don't know how it will be but I'm sure that we will find a way to live under the same roof.
Mr Kim: You are as kind as your Mother. I wish to be open mind like the two of you. Speaking of your Mother, she was badly hurt, and you know how she is... trying to act like nothing happened. I found a good place where people can take care of her. I want to take her there, but I want to have your approbation because it means that you will have to stay with the boys...
Y/N: Uncle will stay with her? She will recover faster? How many days?
Mr Kim smiled seeing that the little girl seemed positive about his proposition. He patted her head before replying:
Mr Kim: I think two weeks will be enough and yes, she will be healthier and will recover faster. I will be with her every minutes.
Y/N: If Uncle promises to take care and protect her, I'm okay with that.
Mr Kim: You can count on me, and the boys will take care of you. (He marked a pause.) Y/N... I'm deeply sorry, I failed to protect you and your mother, but I swear in my life, it will never happen again. (His deep voice cracked and that touched Y/N.)
Y/N: It was not your fault... he found us one time before too...
Mr Kim: I won't give him the opportunity to show up in front of you in the future!
Having a quite discussion with a father figure was always strange for Y/N. Mr Kim was a calm person. He always asked about her when he comes home, talked to her with a caring voice and tried to do things to please her. Without forgetting, all the love he was showing to her Mother.
Y/N: Uncle, if you want to be sure that Mom doesn't hesitate to go with you, tell her that you want this as your birthday gift.
Mr Kim: (He smiled.) How do you know that it's my birthday soon?
Y/N: Mom was thinking about what gift would please you.
Mr Kim: Our little Y/N is really the smartest kid in our family! Let's go back, the doctor must have finished by now... I can't wait to take her home.
They went back and they found Jin outside the room, waiting for their return. The doctor had finished his examination and the nurse was changing Mrs Son's bandages.
Jin: You're back. Father, here, drink that. Y/N, the nurse is taking care of your Mother, the doctor said that she can go back home after lunch time.
Y/N: Really? Oppa, can we make a stop on our way back home, I want to buy flowers for Mom.
Jin: Sure, let's go. Father, see you later!
Mr Kim: (He took out his wallet and handed 2 bills of 50 000W.) Wait, Y/N, take this.
Y/N: What? No, I have money, it's okay.
Mr Kim: Can't you let me spoil you a little? And it's not even for you.
Y/N: (She was embarrassed but took the money.) Thank you, Uncle.
Y/N and Jin left the hospital and Mr Kim entered the room as soon as the nurse had finished her work. Yejin seemed in a better shape. He helped her change with new clothes that he made deliver by his secretary and packed her stuffs, ready to leave when time will come. Mr Kim talked about his idea and even if she was reluctant at the beginning, she agreed.
Mr Kim used Y/N's argument to convince his girlfriend. His talk with the little girl helped a lot. Yejin was happy too that her daughter and her boyfriend started to develop a special relationship. If they were able to be partner in crime to plot in her back, she had high hope that Y/N will consider Mr Kim as a father in the future. They patiently waited to receive the final authorization to leave the hospital.
After a quick stop, Jin and Y/N arrived at home. Yoongi was outside working on Y/N's father case. Hoseok was resting in his bedroom. Jungkook, Taehyung, Jimin and Namjoon were in the living room, talking. They didn't notice Jin and Y/n's arrival.
Namjoon: Are you sure to be able to go to school tomorrow Jungkook?
Jungkook: Yes... I will be careful, maybe skip the sports activities...
Taehyung: Hyung, did you see Y/N this morning? How is she doing?
Namjoon: She was fine, she apologized for her behavior, even if it was not necessary... after all what she went trough... it was a normal reaction.
Jimin: She had to do it. She yelled at us and said that we are not her brothers, even after they were beaten to protect her!
The three brothers were shocked by Jimin's reaction. He was usually on Y/N's side, since day one.
Jungkook: Hyung, did you forget that everything happened because of me?
Taehyung: He is right! You were not there, you can't understand!
Namjoon: Oh! Both of you calm down. Jimin, I know that you are hurt by what Y/N said, but she is just a kid, don't pay too much attention to her words, she was scared and angry.
Jimin: She never really accepted us... what the use to make efforts if she can throw us away like used tissues whenever she wants!
Namjoon: You don't really think what you're saying, right?
Jin was fuming. He heard their discussion, just like Y/N. She was looking down, knowing that her behavior last night probably broke the thin thing between her and Jimin. Namjoon felt a dark aura and noticed his brother.
Namjoon: Hyung, Y/N, you're back already?
Jin was doing his best to keep his calm. Letting his angry explode will not help in that situation.
Jin: Y/N, go to your room and rest a little. I will call you when my Father and your Mother will arrive.
Y/N bowed to the brothers and left without saying a word. Jin stayed stand up in the middle of the leaving room, staring at his brothers.
Jin: Jungkook, go back to your room. We didn't allow you to come out, except for eating. We will fix your case when Father will be there. Taehyung-ah, you should rest, go back to your room too. (The two youngest quickly disappeared.) Jimin, you know that words can hurt too but you only care when you're the one hurt? You're acting kind and all with that kid but if she is not going with your way, you show your disappointment, pout and react like a 5 years old kid! You don't deserve to be consider as a big brother if you don't know how to take on yourself for the sake of a younger sibling! (He left, angry.)
Namjoon: Hyung... Jimin, you have to fix that quickly.
Jimin stayed alone in the living room after Namjoon also left. He was thinking about his own reaction. Was he too immature? Overreacting?
Namjoon made a quick stop in his bedroom before going to Y/N's room. He knocked at the door and entered.
Namjoon: Y/N, you're not asleep? I found one of my old notebook, I thought that it can interest you...
Y/N: Thank you. You wrote everything in it?
Namjoon: Yes, when I entered high school. I completely forgot about it but seeing that you want to learn English... it made me remember my notes.
Y/N: Oppa... Jimin is very disappointed by me...
Namjoon: Your heard everything, right? I'm sorry, he is a bit immature, you know that. Don't be sad because of that, okay?
Y/N: Yeah... I will try to not bother him for the next few days.
Namjoon: I will let you rest, and we can talk later if you want.
Namjoon gave a last warm smile to Y/N before returning to his room.
In the middle of the afternoon, Mr Kim and Mrs Son came back from the hospital. Mr Kim helped his girlfriend by holding her arm. He didn't want her to push her body too much.
Y/N was ready to welcome her with the giant bouquet of flower that she bought. Hoseok and Jin were with her. Yoongi came back one hour ago and was with Namjoon in the office. The youngest were in their respective bedroom.
Y/N: Mom... welcome back... it's for you, Jin Oppa helped me to chose them.
Mrs Son: Thanks Sweetie, Jin, thank you for taking care of her.
Mr Kim: Let's go to our room, you must rest.
Mrs Son: Songho, I'm tired to be lay down. Guys, how are you doing? Where are your brothers? How is Taehyung doing?
When Namjoon and Yoongi joined them, they were shocked by Yejin's state. She had several bruises on her face. They could imagine the other wounds of her body by the way she was moving with difficulties. They did their best to no show her the rage that was growing inside them.
Hoseok: They are upstairs, Taehyung is fine, don't worry. Yejin, what do you want to do with Jungkook?
Mrs Son: I don't want to do anything to that kid. We can discuss about it if you want but it will not change what happened. Don't expect from me to ask for a hard punishment.
Jungkook, Taehyung and Jimin joined the rest of the family too. Jin asked them to come few minutes ago. Jungkook and Taehyung bowed and sat. Jimin, on his side, was seeing Yejin for the first time since the incident. He was speechless to discover Y/N's mother like that. He was staring at her and his father noticed it.
Mr Kim: Jimin-ah, sit down. Your attitude is rude!
Mrs Son: Songho, it's alright. It's nothing Jimin, it will disappear in few days. I'm sorry if it scares you.
Jimin: No, I'm sorry, I didn't know that it was that serious... I'm sorry...
Mr Kim: Jungkook, come here. (Jungkook stood up and came in front of his father.) What will we do with you?
Jungkook: I will accept every punishment that you can give to me. I'm deeply sorry but it will not erase what I did. I can only promise you to change and ask for your forgiveness.
Mr Kim: If I was the only one to take the decision, you will already be in a plane to Switzerland. But Yejin is against that idea and to be honest I don't know what to do.
Jungkook was looking down, hurt to have disappointed his father that much. His entire family was disappointed. It will be hard to regain their trust in him.
Jungkook: I'm okay with that. If it can relieve their pain and your anger, I'm okay to live somewhere else.
A big silence took place in the house after his statement. Y/N looked at him. He agreed to be separate from his family to make amend.
Mrs Son: No, you're not going anywhere. This is your home, your family. It's too easy to go far away. You have to take your responsibilities here!
Jungkook: I know that Y/N cannot live here with me around. She is afraid of me... it's impossible for her to even look at me.. (He looked at her and the little girl didn't look away.)
Mrs Son: We already talked with Y/N, it's not an issue for her. If you really want to change, show us.
Mr Kim put his hand on Yejin's lap. Jungkook was staring at her.
Jungkook: I will, I promise!
Mr Kim: I don't know exactly how you will prove this, but we will see. Yejin, let's go upstairs now... I need to change too. Kids, see you later.
The couple went upstairs. Y/N didn't know what to do, feeling the stares of the Jungkook and Jimin on her. She was uncomfortable and decided to go to her bedroom. Jimin hesitated to follow her, but he was taken back from his thoughts by Jin.
Jin: Jimin, it was impolite to stare at Mrs Son like that! You embarrassed her. You really need to work on this side of your personality!
Jimin: I am sorry Hyung... I didn't want that.
Jin: Now that you saw Mrs Son, you still think that Y/N's reaction was too much? That she didn't have the right to panic, to be suspicious of us? You can understand why she freaked out after living in hell for years!
Once again, Jin's words were right. Jimin stayed silent. He knew that he was wrong. Taehyung let his brothers talk and went upstairs. He didn't exchange with the little girl since they came back yesterday.
Taehyung: Y/N, I'm coming in (After knocking but not waiting for her answer.)
Y/N: Taehyung-ssi... what do you want?
Taehyung: Nothing special, just want to see how you are doing. Your mother seems tired but I'm sure that she will be alright soon. My father will take care of her, you don't have to worry.
Y/N: Yes, I know. Uncle is a very kind person. (She hesitated but asked.) How... how are your injuries? Did you take medicine? Put pomade?
Taehyung: (He smiled.) What? Are you worried about me?
Y/N: No! I never said that... it's just... you were hurt too...
Taehyung: I'm fine, I'm a man you know! Why do you stay in your room? Is it because of Jungkook? Or because of what Jimin said?
Y/N: Why do you care?
Taehyung: Arff... Why are you still cold and distant with me?
Y/N: (She looked at him, she didn't want to hurt him, even more after what they shared and the way he protected her.) I'm sorry...
Taehyung: Do you still doubt my intentions? Why can't you talk with me like you do wit my brothers?
Y/N: I... I don't know... you always seem angry...
Taehyung looked at himself in the mirror, he was frowning. He pinched his cheeks, tried to put a force smile on his face, wide opened his eyes and Y/N let escaped a little laugh when he grimaced because of the pain.
Taehyung: Aie aie... Yahh, don't mock me... my poor handsome face.
Y/N: You're not handsome at all...
Taehyung: (He approached very closely.) Are you eyes malfunctioning? Don't you see this? Even injured, I'm perfect!
Y/N:(She blushed.)You... are too close...
Taehyung: Ohhh you're blushing, you like my face... don't lie....
Y/N: (She turned her head and crossed her arms.) No, I don't!
Taehyung laughed and laid down on Y/N's bed. She stared at him.
Y/N: What are you doing?
Taehyung: Nothing, I decided to stay here with you. You want to do something special? Play games? Watching a movie?
Y/N: No! Go to your room! (She grabbed his wrist to try to make him stand up... useless tentative.)
Taehyung: You know that you're not strong enough to push me out!
Y/N: Why are you so stubborn?
Taehyung: Because at least, while acting like that, you're not thinking about bad things... and you're talking to me more naturally!
Y/N: Do whatever you want...
Y/N laid down too with the notebook that Namjoon gave to her. Taehyung didn't stop to bother her, but the two kids stayed together until dinner time.
After dinner, Y/N spent time with her mother and helped her to pack.
Mr Kim was also in the room to help the girls to prepare Yejin stuffs and the couple laughed when Y/N scolded Mr Kim when he tried to take Mrs Son's underwear. Around 10 pm, Y/N went to sleep in her room.

The next day passed very quickly. After lunch, Mr Kim and Mrs Son left to the health center. Jin and Yoongi were absent the entire day. Not being able to find Y/N's father was stressful. They came back late that night, tired but with a serious information, Lee was spotted at Incheon Port, embarking on a ship boat.
Jin: At least, if that bastard ran away from the country, he will not be a threat for them anymore.
Yoongi: It's still not satisfactory for me. If he is not dead, we never know when he will decide to show up again!
Jin: I know, and I never said that we will stop tracking him.
The brothers separated in the corridor. Yoongi was coming out from the bathroom when someone knocked at his door. He opened it and saw Y/N.
Yoongi: Y/N? Something's wrong?
Yoongi let Y/N enter. She had small eyes, like she had cried.
Yoongi: Why you're not sleeping, it's late, you have school tomorrow... something happened?
Y/N: Oppa... can I stay with you tonight?
Yoongi: (He patted her head.) Of course, you can. Did you have a nightmare? (She nodded shyly.) I'm glad that you came to me and not stay crying in you room alone.
Y/N: Mom is not here... I'm sor...
Yoongi: Stop. I already know what you're about to say and I don't want to hear that. When will you stop to apologize for everything that you do. Let's go to sleep or you will be tired tomorrow.
They laid down and Yoongi covered them with the blanket. Y/N grabbed his t-shirt and closed her eyes. Yoongi stared at her few minutes, and she quickly fell asleep. He delicately caressed her hair. For once, she acted like a kid and asked for something that she wanted.

The next morning, Hoseok made a fuss once again because Y/N had slept in Yoongi's room. He made the little girl promise to go with him to the swimming pool in the evening. Yoongi yelled at his brother, saying that he was reacting like a jealous kid even if he was 19.
Jin: Y/N, for some times, we prefer that you go to school with the boys. I know that you like to walk, that it's your moment but just for few days.
Y/N: Okay Oppa, I will do as you want.
Taehyung: Great, let's go. (He grabbed her hand and dragged her to the garage.) I sit with you.
Y/N didn't say anything. Enduring Taehyung extravagance was better that being stuck with Grumpy Jimin or Freaky Jungkook. Speaking of Jungkook, every time that they were in the same space, he spent his time to stare at her, just like Taehyung was doing before. Jimin was embarrassed by his own reaction, and he didn't know how to engage the conversation with Y/N.
Taehyung: See you for lunch Y/N. (She didn't reply and walked to her section.)
Y/N didn't want to have lunch with the 3 brothers. She wanted to have some free time for herself. She planned to quickly leave at the end of the class, buying a drink at the vending machine and just enjoying the nice weather at the roof. Her plan was perfect until the bell rang and the agitation that followed from her female classmates.
Girl 1: Oh Gosh... Look, that's Taehyung Oppa...
Girl 2: He is so handsome... but did he have a fight? Oooh poor angel, his handsome face is hurt... (She approached him.) Taehyung Oppa, you're looking for someone? We can help you?
Taehyung: Oppa? I don't know you. (He badly glared at the two girls and smiled when he saw Y/N.) Y/N... let's go I'm starving.
Y/N felt embarrassed by the situation. Everyone was staring at her. She took her wallet, her phone and went near him to ask, in a low tone.
Y/N: What are you doing here?
Taehyung: (He passed his arm around her shoulders.) If I hadn't come, you would have found a way to hide, let's go eat only the two of us!
Y/N: I am not hungry; I just want to be alone.
Taehyung: If you skip your meal, I will call Yoongi Hyung! We can take sandwich and find a quiet place if you want.
Y/N: Okay, okay... but don't show up in my class like that... you will bring troubles to me!
Taehyung: If someone dares to bother you, I will kill them!
Y/N: You're having your scary face right now...
Taehyung: Sorry, sorry, no scary face when Y/N is around, I got it.
They made a stop to buy sandwiches and snacks before heading to the roof. Jungkook saw his brother and Y/N together. He discretely followed them. Seeing those two speaking that easily, Jungkook had hope that the little girl could forgive him one day too, even if his sins were way more important. He went to the cafeteria after few minutes and saw Jimin.
Jimin: JK, do you know where is Taehyung? And did you see Y/N?
Jungkook: They are eating together in the roof. Hyung, why you didn't apologize yet to her? I don't understand you! You don't know how much she cares about you!
