After stopping Team Flare in Glittering Cave we see are heroes entering Cyllage City so (Y/n) and Serena can get their second Gym Badge but enough of that lets get on with the meat and potatoes
(Y/n)'s p.o.v
Serena, Shauna and I have finally made it to Cyllage City and along the way Shauna was given an old rod and and caught a Luvdisc and Serena was given Dowsing Machine who found a pearl with it and now we are all in the pokécentre
Shauna: *groans and looks at her Pokéball* what am I supposed to do with this Luvdisc?!
(Y/n): don't know, you could always box it or release it
Shauna: maybe
Before Serena could get her input on the whole situation a man walks towards us with something on his mind
Man: excuse me, but I heard that you don't want your Lovdisc and I would love to trade you my Steelix for it
Shauna: why exactly?
Man: I want to enter the Kalos contest that will be happening in a week and I'm afraid that my Steelix will be to frightening for the kids watching
(Y/n): *leans over to Shauna and whispers* do it
Shauna: why?
(Y/n): he actually has a good reason to trade unlike someone I know, plus if you want to keep up with Serena and I, the Steelix is the way to go
Shauna: if you say so *faces the man* ok I'll trade with you
Man: oh thank you so much
As Shauna and the man walk over to the trading station thingy mado, I face and face Serena about the next Gym
(Y/n): so you ready for the Gym?
Serena: huh? Oh yeah I'm ready!
(Y/n): you seem like you've got some thing on your mind
Serena: it's nothing to worry about
(Y/n): it's about Team Flare isn't it
Serena: it is, I'm scared of what they might do...
(Y/n): well if they try anything, we'll be there to stop 'em
Serena: you think we can stop them?
(Y/n): my Mum was only 15 when she stop Team Plasma, so I say we got a solid chance of stopping them

(Y/n): good, now let's wait for Shauna to finish up then we'll head over to the Gym
Shauna: hey guys! I'm back!
(Y/n): I've forgotten how quick trading can be sometimes *Shauna and Serena giggle at (Y/n)*
Narrator's p.o.v
After Shauna and Serena giggles at (Y/n)'s forgetful memory, then they head out of the Pokécentre and towards the gym until they were stop by someone
???: oh dear... if you're here for the bicycle race, I'm afraid you're too late. The race is over and I took first place. I feel bad that you missed it. Here - -allow me to give you this strength HM in consolation *hands over the HM to (Y/n)*
(Y/n): thanks *bags the HM*
???: however, if you want to use it outside of battle, you'll need a badge from the Gym I run in this city
(Y/n): and your name is...?
Grant: sorry for not introducing myself earlier, my name is Grant, so on that note, I'll be waiting for you three in my Gym. Come challenge me at your leisure
After grant finished talking he walks to where the entrance of the Gym is leaving the trio behind
Serena: so who's going first for this one?
Shauna: (Y/n) should since you took on the last one
Serena: that is true
(Y/n): how about this then, on every second Gym I go first so that way we don't argue the entire time
Serena: sure
With everyone agreeing they head into the second Gym and met with a very tall rock wall and they could barely see Grant sitting at the top
Grant: I SEE THAT YOU'VE ARRIVED!! WELL YOU BETTER START CLIMBING IF YOU WANT TO BATTLE!!
(Y/n): *starts flicking through her Pokétch's apps* I'll see you there in about 2 minutes
As (Y/n) said that a wild Bibarel walks into the Gym and allows (Y/n) to hop onto it's back then it starts to scale the rock wall until (Y/n) reaches the top and hops off surprising Grant and everyone in the Gym
Grant: I've never seen anyone do that before
(Y/n): don't think about it to much
Grant: I've been waiting in eager anticipation! For a worthy challenger! Now show me what I've been waiting for!
With a shoulder role and crack of his neck he prepares for his battle and sends out Amaura as (Y/n) sends out Frogadier
(Y/n): ok Frogadier! Use water pulse!
Grant: Amaura dodge then use thunder wave
Frogadier launches the water pulse faster then Amaura could move leading to a hit but Amaura fires a weak bolt of lighting at Frogadier which causes him to get paralysed
(Y/n): not good
Grant: good! Now use rollout!
(Y/n): move! Then water pulse!
But Frogadier couldn't get out of the way in time and gets hit but when he fires the water pulse hitting Amaura and causing it to faint
Grant: not bad, not bad at all! Now go Tyrunt! *throws Tyrunt's ball*
Tyrunt: Tyrunt!!
Grant: now Tyrunt use bite!
With Frogadier still not be able to move properly get bit on the torso then chucked by Tyrunt and leaving Frogadier to struggle to stand straight and in a very tight spot
(Y/n): one more hit like that and it's game over for him
So (Y/n) grabs a Super Potion from her bag bag and runs over to Frogadier and once at his side she uses the potion to restore any battle damage but not the status effect
(Y/n): you good?
Frogadier: Froga!
Before anymore words could be exchanged Frogadier pushes (Y/n) out the way of the biting Tyrunt and dodges the attack himself, after quick eye contact between (Y/n) and Frogadier, (Y/n) nods knowing both are on the same wavelength, Frogadier let's out a loud cry,he then moves at blinding speeds hitting Tyrunt then fires a water pulse making the Tyrunt faint
Grant: you have proven to be a wall that I am unable to surmount! *walks over and and hands ₽4,000* there are somethings that seem out of reach no matter how hard you try and beating you is one of them. However, it's important that you never give up, no matter the challenge you face. I could tell from our battle that you and your Pokémon understand that
(Y/n): thanks
Grant: now to commemorate such an impressive show of teamwork, please accept the Cliff Badge!
With the Cliff Badge now obtained both Grant and (Y/n) hear struggling coming from the rock wall and when they both face it and see Serena make it to the top and completely out off breathe
Serena: finally *takes a deep breathe* I made it
(Y/n): good job Serena
Grant: so you're also looking for a battle?
Serena: that's right
(Y/n): then I'll leave you to it, I need to head to the Pokécentre
Serena: ok then see you in a bit
Once (Y/n) leaves battlefield, Serena and Grant get ready to battle each over (Y/n) heads out of the Gym and to the Pokécentre but catches a glimpse of a Flare Grunt
(Y/n): what are they up to?

Instead of going to the Pokécentre I follow the Flare Grunt until they disappear when we reach some large stones
(Y/n): where did they go? It's not like they disappear like an Abra
Flare Grunt: I knew something was following me *gets a good look of (Y/n)* I remember you! You're the one that stopped our fossil-finding plans! And now your standing here around these stones. Do you have any idea what they even are?
(Y/n): no not really
Flare Grunt: of course you don't! You know nothing about the legend of 3,000 years ago that says... wait, what does it say? That doesn't matter, it's time for me to get some sweet revenge... with style!

Flare Grunt: I've been beaten again... how could I lose again to a brat like you?! What are you, some kind of Trainer prodigy or something?!

Then I heard beeping from the Grunt and he picks up his Holo Caster and answers it and I could barely hear the conversation
Flare Grunt: I see... ... ... ... roger that! *faces (Y/n) with a smirk* heh. Gotta love the Holo Caster! I can get updates on my mission in real time with this stylish device? Whoever thought of this thing, has to be one truly stylish individual!
(Y/n): and you're telling me this, why?
Flare Grunt: and on that note, it's time to scram with style!
And like that he runs off to the next town but he's not losing me like that at, so I run after him and battled any that got in my way. So once I get into Geosenge Town
(Y/n): there he is *approaches the Grunt*
Flare Grunt: Geosenge Town is the town of stones! 🎶
I follow him behind some house until he gets to in front of a path that leads out of town, then he spots me as Zorua gets ready to fight
Flare Grunt: hear this, brat! Team Flare is gonna use those stones on Route 10 and a fantastic treasure to make everyone on our team happy! In this world, the ones have the power are the ones who win in flair!
He then dashed down the winding path and as Zorua fires a shadow ball he disappears into the thicket leaving no trace behind
(Y/n): damn it he got away!
As I let out a sigh of frustration I hear my Holo Caster go off, so I answer the call and see Shauna
Shauna (Hologram): where are you (N/n)? You're not at the at the Pokécentre. So where are you?!
(Y/n): I'm in the next town because I saw someone from Team Flare and I followed them
Shauna (Hologram): are you hurt? Are your Pokémon ok?!
(Y/n): we're all fine Shauna, isn't that right Zorua
Zorua: *gets onto (Y/n)'s shoulder* Zorua!!
Shauna (Hologram): that's good to hear, Serena and I will be there shortly
(Y/n): ok see you soon

Narrator's p.o.v
After waiting for ten minutes Shauna and Serena arrived to Grosenge Town and had a quick lunch break and (Y/n) talks about her encounter with Team Flare. But now they head off for Shalour City and as they leave the town they hear a familiar voice call out
Korrina: Lucario! What are you doing?!
The trio turn around and see Korrina and her Lucarios make their way towards them
Korrina: hey! You three are the trainers from Route 5
Lucario: you've forgotten their names haven't you
(Y/n): good to see you too Korrina and to you as well Lucario
Lucario: Trainer, I would like to battle you and your Pokémon
(Y/n): sure I would love to
Korrina: alrighty then, let's do this!
As one the Lucario on Korrina's right takes a battle stance while the other one waits their, (Y/n) tosses out Zorua's ball
Charmeleon: Charmeleon!
(Y/n): ok Charmeleon! Ember!
Korrina: use power-up punch!
With Lucario dashes at Charmeleon and punches him in the chest and making Charmeleon skids back from the force but with a flick from his tail embers hits Lucario and inflicting massive damage and burning them
(Y/n): good job! Now you know what to do!
Korrina: Lucario! use bone rush!
Lucario fights through it's burn and runs at Charmeleon as it makes a bone from aura and goes to whack Charmeleon. But Charmeleon dodges with ease, once Lucario slams the bone with an overhead strike Charmeleon moves the side and uses fire fang and bites into Lucario's shoulder and tosses them towards Korrina, as the Lucario goes to stand back up they fall back to the ground and faint because of the burn
Korrina: *returns Lucario into their ball* ok! Now I can see why Lucario likes you so much! Also do you remember that I'm the Shalour City Gym Leader?
(Y/n): *returns Charmeleon* of course I do
Korrina: good! So once you've past the cave that's just up ahead you'll be there. So stop by and say hello!
(Y/n): sure will
Korrina: well see you guys then *skates off towards the cave as her Lucario follows behind*
Serena: that battle looked quite tough
Shauna: yeah, especially since you let Charmeleon do their own thing!
(Y/n): I have faith in what my Pokémon are doing without a command given, even so it still looks like I need to train my Pokémon more
Serena: just try not to push you or your Pokémon to hard
(Y/n): I'll keep that in mind, now let's get to Shalour City!
